This is a beta version and is suitable for testers.
I ported this rom on request.
It is not for daily use.
WORKING WITH BOTH CURSORDROID'S AND AMON RA'S RECOVERY IMAGES
The ROM feels FAST.
It may be the fastest Eclair 2.1 for the 32A Magic 6.35 radio.
It is based off of SuperEclair v3.0 [BETA4.1] by KOLOHE and others (their rom really has nothing in common with Superatmel's SuperEclair anymore).
It uses Sanpei's .32 Kernel for 6.35 radio.
The rom has problems. You might get a force close.
A few problems remain with some features (see change log in second post and colour guide for what is working next).

Instructions:
You need new radio 6.35.10.18, SPL 1.76.2007 and recovery-RA-Magic32A-6.35-v1.6.2 or recovery-RA-hero-v1.6.2.img.
It might work on with other recovery images, but I have not tested them.

1. Download the cooked ROM
2. Save the ROM to sd card
3. Wipe data/factory reset
4. Wipe Dalvik-cache
5. Wipe SD:ext partition
6. Flash ROM
7. Reboot

This rom should not be confused with the one here.
I created a new thread for this rom, because it is not based off the original SuperEclair2.1 like the other one. This rom is based off a completely different build.
Performance seems way better for me with this rom, but stability is still an issue.
I will post updates as the bugs get fixed.
I will also post a themed version at some point.

Not that this will help you, nut I don't think the forced close is actually related to the wifi.
I get forced closes with one specific app on my phone. When I uninstall the app I then get the forced close when I do something else.
This was the main reason why I was waiting to port the rom.
I think the rom is awesome and fast - it may be one of the better if not best Eclair 2.1 roms that are not sense, hero or legend. I will port the new releases as soon as the original team gets this bug solved.

yes i don't like any sense/hero/legend style too. ORIGINAL Eclair is the best! at least for me.

I have the old radio port
This bug does not occur for me (weird)
I will post links for you in future as soon as I test some more
I will also make a thread possibly for my issues and updates too - as I prefer when cooking to upload any changes ASAP
I think video playback is broken in my version...
yes confirmed youtube works but video playback (mp4 movie) cannot work for some reason
any suggestion or just post?

My opinion is to just post the rom as it is.
There are a lot of people working on the 32B version.
They will hopefully figure out fixes faster than we can as a smaller group.
k uploading to multiupload - mine does not seem to have LWP built into it as part of the features either - maybe in future release this will be fixed but I think LWP just cause issues / crashes

First off, great ROM. Very speedy compared to others I've tried. Just a couple of things I found that are not working are:
1. Wireless Tether - FC everytime I try to start it
2. Handcent SMS - FC everytime

6. Removed the boot-time sound (at least until volume will be fixed... it's too loud)

because the original V2 rom can be installed on magic too, but only with not working wifi.

This ROM is fully working (excepting for bluetooth and staus led), try wiping and reflashing it...

ii wiped and reflashe 3 times now. with the same result.
the original V2 works, but without wlan.
(is apps2sd needed for this version?
i have a 2 gb ext2 partition.)
This rom is awesome.
I've found theese problems:
a) Bluetooth not working
b) Exchange options seems not to work
c) Can't change lock wallpaper
d) Missing HTC WIDGETS like weather and stock
e) g-sensor calibrate not work
f) On downloading market apps, the graphic indicator before downloading begins, seems to be messed

Wow this is the fastest Hero build I've tried yet, even runs stable with Rosie and a few widgets!!! Big thanks to Diaztradeinc, Jrbourque and l3wish for creating and to Fatal1ty2787 and NK02 for porting to Magic so we can enjoy.
Things I have noticed:
After receiving a call the scroll ball on my phone keeps flashing!
No Mail.apk.. I resolved this by pushing Mail.apk from another Hero build
This last one is purely personal opinion but I prefer the original Hero colour sceme/theme. Does anyone know how to revert to it.
None of the above are complaints, just observations.

PS-the camera isn't working because Android 1.6+ uses a different camera driver...
I definetly will give it a try... But firt I will whait for Multitouch, and Wi-Fi and mmm well as much as possible working =)...

You can disable it manually just edit the boot_animation.xml file (/system/media/bootscreen/)

Turn option useAudio="1" to "0" save and reboot
Tried it for 30 minutes, it has potencial.
Wifi working, GPS working, 3G and Hsdpa working, everything looks cool.
It's somehow slow (lag) on some places, the leds don't work, camera doesn't work at all, no multitouch (i know it's on the first post).
Some widgets aren't working as well.
Keep the good work, it's almost ready to use, without the leds and camera isn't that useful, but it has lots of potencial, with great performance.

nope it's a Donut 1.6 (with some 2.0 stuff) for old radio ))
and it's working quite good..except for the boot screen!

its highly recommended and suggested to put the information required to flash the phone, other wise, we have already seen some posts in which some of the noobs , messed up with radios and wrong roms, so please specify the radio ( new /old ) required along with board .( 32a / b ) plus SPL used in your test....
it will save some of the bricks......!

umm flashing roms cant brick a phone

thanks for this rom .it's nice. i have small issue. recording on camera doesn't record sound or only very very low volume. and when i was in camera settings and tried to leave it reboot phone. one more thing; what does CUBE app do? it crash and FC every time .

cube is a 3d cube launcher

I don't know how many of you guys follow the releases on Android Spin or if they just follow you, but I haven't seen a post about this so I figured I'd share. This works on ANY SPL.

I've decided to start my own bug tracking to help out with development. CR didn't ask me, so maybe it isn't a good idea, but I support this rom 100%.
Known Bugs (from this thread!) (Updated 5/2/10 for v0.6.2 BETA)
Legend:
C/R - Confirmed or just reported
MT3G/G1 - which device it happens on
(C - G1/MT3G) - Swype still says its configured for a different device. The keyboard itself works, but you can't actually "swype" on it.
(C - G1) - Some users still seem to be caught in a boot loop. I can't test this because I have a MT3G - can someone give me a logcat from bootup to boot loop?
(R - G1/MT3G) - some widgets seem to cause the launcher to reboot. I haven't been able to duplicate this. Logcat, anyone?
(C - G1/MT3G) [WE HAVE A FIX] - HTC widgets are not available when you try to add them, they just don't exist in the list
- This means you went into the rom too quickly - you need to give it some time to settle before popping in. Head over to settings and get into your app management, find "HTC Sense" in the list and clear all of its data. Go back to your homescreen and click to add a new widget, you'll see the widgets there now
(C - MT3G) - Both Skyfire and the default browser exit to home/launcher after 1-5 minutes of being actively used.

Warnings: First, the Setup itself IS a big laggy, the phone speeds up after its over. You may also get a FC on the theme manager the first time you load up your Home;/Launcher. Ignore this.
Phone.apk was faster in the initial betas of this rom but has seemed to slow down since then, right now its right about as fast as any other sense rom - we hope this will be fixed in future releases.

Addons/Mods/Fixes
1.) Like the Nexus One (N1)/Flan/AOSP style lockscreens?
Go download this FLAN fix by Flipz:
http://geekfor.me/fixes/vanilla-lockscreen/ (I use option 3)
And put it on the root of your SD Card then, from recovery, flash that Flipz fix and reboot. Viola! You're done!

- Set CPU 1.52 has been added for simplicity in overclocking. If u like it please support the dev by purchasing the donate version in the market. Set speed to performance 528 max and this thing is FAST!!
- Removed Faves/Faves Widget as it wouldnt function properly (if i can get it fixed u will get a flashable zip update)
- Battery drain issue should be fixed now... let me know ur personal experiences....
- Flash 10.1 for G1 is something im looking to patch for G1 users, try the included Skyfire Beta browser as it has its own flash...

Fixed the probs the few of u experienced with GPS locking location on maps (if problem persists, just restart the map aplication after its attempted a fix and it will lock)

I tried this and it's got an old version of maps so the GPS work's(it won't if you update maps)
Fave is not working and the full screen weather does not work. I did try Firerat's Fave fix but it did not work.
I put my old rom back on..thank's anyway
I was able to slap the fender boot.img on there and it works like a charm with the Mytouch 1.2

Don't release this rom! Its not a stable version! I'm the beta tester for this rom and if anyone wants a stable version wait till ChiefzReloaded or Myself create a topic on the rom... its in beta stages meaning it is NOT stable

Got it and fixed - My bad completely, I removed "stable" it from the title.

I have been trying this for a few hours and it's a very good port
I am getting FCs with "process com.tmobile.selfhelp" also getting FCs with Fave from the home screen\widget and when I try to add to Fave from People.

Partion your sdcard and try again. Most busybox errors are from not partioning the sdcard from one rom to another.
repartitioned same error.
This is a STRICTLY AOSP Gingerbread build for the Motorola Milestone.
Most of the credits goes to the amazing guys from CyanogenMod, nadlabak, f_pasha, mtwebster, rcerqueira, koush, MDijkstra, Skrilax_CZ, cvpcs and everyone else that had the patience to help me out figuring out how to put everything together.
To get it working for you, the baseband files for your region should be applied thru OpenRecovery as usual; you can get them at Dexter’s site: http://dext3r.komodin.org/.
Default language is set to PT-BR, change at the initial screen for your likings.
If you are currently using any Froyo release, you don’t need to do anything else, just copy the update to the OpenRecovery update folder and install as usual. If you’re not using any Froyo release, you need to apply a 2.2 SBF first.
Please note that FULL WIPE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for new installations. If you're upgrading from any previous SMBR Gingerbread build, you only need to wipe caches.

- Enabled SIP over 3G networks.
- Removed some unnecessary libraries from the system (used only by Froyo).
- Fixed a couple of EGL issues. Nothing major.

- Massive memory tuning.
- JIT is disabled again -- yes, your linpack will suck, but you'll get much smoother experience overall.

- Removed the OTA updater for now to save some memory.
Build 2:
- Fixed GMail/GReader breakage, now it works as expected.
- HSPA icon shows instead of just 3G.
- Screen off animation turned on.
- USB connected icon fixed.
- Some memory tuning done.
- Added full AOSP languages with dictionaries where available.
- Added full APN list based on CyanogenMod’s.

APAC nandroid will do. Any working Froyo release works. We just need the VR and the basic 2.2 partitions.

Its exactly the same steps as to install the ROM, you just need to put the update zip at OpenRecovery update folder and apply it.
For Greece, the correct baseband is this one:
