Hi all.
First thanks for your great job....
Question: is possible to add also the seconds indicator for the analog clocks?
Alex
Yes it is. When you use Coockies Home Tab. Tab on Menü-->Coockies Home Tab editor--->Miscellaneous settings--->(Scroll down)Show second hand (on/off). Thats it!
Thnx for the reply, now it looks even better than expected.
Another q with hope for a:
Is it possible to set different time on analog and digital clocks on one screen - I mean when I need to have two time zones to observe.
Hope it is possible, if not you will find solution, will you?
It works..thanks a lot
Alex
No problem im glad that i could help you!
Well that's nice and easy. All sorted. Done and dusted. Question answered

Hi Guys,
As the title suggests, I'm looking to install Rolex,Omega or Tag clocks on my HD2. I would ideally like to install them independently so I can use Vovichek_Jamrecords 16 TT UPDATED.cab (which allows for 16 quicklinks) as well.
Before I get flamed, I've done a lot of searching and have found clocks that I can use here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=595745&page=5
and this thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=604796
but when I install them, I can't use any quick link apps and I can only use the default 9 quicklinks on the homescreen. The only other solution I've found is installing MaxManila but I don't want to do that as I like to install all of my stuff 1 by 1 rather than having a number of tweaks all installed at once like it making the calendar transparent & stuff which I don't want and it doesn't seem to install correctly on my phone anyway, with the quicklink name halfway up the icon, as I beleive it's designed for the blackstone?
Is there a simple solution to this and/or have I missed something? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bumpity bump-bump
EXACTLY what i want too!
Bumpingtons
And another interested guy^^ There are several cabs for the flipclock and all are working like a charm! But I just need one working analog clock cab only, thats all what I need No MaxManila, no B4all and so on...only clock please!!
Exactly - me too.
Yes,
That's what I'm looking for, the clocks alone. I contacted jaguaralani who seems to be the main guy who makes these clocks and he says that it's not as simple as just whacking a clock on the phone. There are a lot of associated files included with any clock modifications which is why you often see the clocks included with other modifications like sliders, 20 quicklinks etc... I have seen standalone clocks which you can add but they won't let you use Quicklink apps and seem to conflict with other bits and pieces (check my first post for the link).
Thanks

Why not use max manilla.
Its safe and if you like the stock screen on UI just dont change any thing.
Just install the clock as per your wish.
One more thing you can do is that you can actually have two analogue clocks displaying two different time zones.
And as you said, jaguarlani is the one who makes most of them, and i agree they are awesome.
I am using a taghuer clock face. (i have twenty different clocks prepared by jaguarlani).
Just a word of caution dont install any clock hands, otherwise you will end up loosing the original clock hands, and if you un install the hands, the hands wouldnt appear on the clock face (it wont revert the previous ones). Same goes with the clock too, you would need at least one clock installed otherwise the clock would dissapear.
I absolutely love max manilla, give it a shot, its absolutely worth his effort.

Hi,
Thanks for the response. Can you explain this a little more please? Can I install MaxManila and not use any functions of it at all like the 20 Quicklinks, Transsliders or anything else except the clocks? I though that if I installed it, it would automatically install those tweaks to the HD2. Am I wrong?
Thanks

That´s what I thought too...I don´t like the clocks periphery (frame) coming with maxmanila, I really want to keep the black background in all other tabs except the starttab (don´t like the B4all thing, to me it´s too confusing and wild in the emailtab for instance ) and there are one or too bugs I dislike with maxmanila (20 shortcuts not working well?).
I agree I just want analogue clock with 16/20 short cuts + call history not the whole MaxManila so I'd be willing to give it a shot put something together but would appreciate if some of the expert manila/sense 2.5 skinners can point me in the right direction as to what tool they use to edit the manila files? is it manila kitchen found here?http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=528548

I don't know what version of Sense you have, but here is my simple analog clock array for 2.5.1922, with no B4all !
If this installs and works ok for you, then we can worry about skinning the clock with one of the other skins out there. Let me know!
If it doesn't work for you, sorry, just uninstall! If it does, I gladly accept beer!
hi mate

i got big blank icons in the quicklinks and didnt like the clock
i want too use the normal sense ui date and time but want the omega clock
yt
i will be glad too buy you a beer if you find me a solution

No problem, sorry it didn't work for you. The clocks however are changable, once you have a configuration that works for your rom.
It would be easier to possibly help you, if you could tell me your version of sense. Again, sorry it didn't work on your rom.
hi santod
thanks for helping me mate
how do i find out my sense version??
cheers
I can also offer some beer. I have Manilla 2.5.19211619.0. I would like a replacement for the Sense clock which is similar to this:
lots of beer for santod if he gets us going
my sense version is: 1.0.19211622.1
hope this helps mate!!
looking forward too ur creation....i wanna be able to use the omega and tag watches thanks
all the best
I apologize for my noobness, but I've browsed the forum with no answer nor cab, so I turn to you guys in hope of helping me out, I just want the thing gone, takes up to much room and I really don't need it...
Thanks
Search for "Cookiemonsters Home Tab". One of the benefits of this great mod is the function you are asking for: You can actually completely remove the clock from the home tab.
A simple solution would be to just swipe the clock away, this leaves just a basic digital clock.
Another solution is to install "antonio no clock".

The easiest way I know of to remove things from the homescreen is by Cookies Home Tabs and CHTEditor. If you use those, pressing Menu at the bottom and selecting Edit Home Layout will allow you to remove whatever you wish by simply a press & hold.
After several weeks of experimenting and researching, I finally got my HD2 running smooth and looking even smoother. My only gripe is that the home tab music player in CHT is transparent black, unlike the rest of the tabs/bars. Is there any mod or tweak I can use to do this? If not, I would definitely like to request this option in the next version of CHT.
Thanks in advance for any help!
perhaps posting this question in the original cookie home tab thread would have been a better move? nice name, btw.. mainly the reason i wanted to post in this "thread"

HA! This is definitely a first.
Great suggestion, I'll do that now. If anyone knows another way to get this done, please help me out!
Check out this post. I'm using the 50% transparent and it works nice here
Thanks for the tip, but I found what I was looking for here...

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you'll find a .cab file for the glass music player. Works perfectly!
Hi Everybody,
I'm Looking for a way to show info 'HOW MANY hours ARE until NEXT Alarm'?
I am using Sense 2,5 and G-Alarm and it would be really practical to get that information somewhere on the main screen or in CHT part of Sense or In the taskbar part.
Do You have any ideas how to achieve that?
Thank You, regards, u
hey u can use SPB Time. It has that functionality

Tnx rammohan223, SPB Time is really nice looking, but then it covers everything else...it would be nice to find a proggy with similar functionality like BattClock, that would float in the taskbar or something.
MAybe there is a key in registry that indicates next alarm time, and we could use a script to get that value and made a simple calculation to get how many hours until next alarm, and use that info to put it in taskbar with BattClock or something similiar? ;D
Hello,
I use S2U2 and on the "lock" screen if you have alarm...there is show how many hours till next alarm.

Hi umetnic,
you have seen the app Mortscript. With that are many things possible.
Good evening everybody.
Sorry for asking a simple question... does it exist a good/power saving app, for having a customizable agenda directly on the lockscreen?
And a more difficult one: I am studying German... and I would like to find a widget that allows me to just display some words I previously wrote down, together with their meaning and/or few explanations (just to help memory each time I switch on the phone). Is there anything dedicated or suited to this purpose?
Thank you very much for any hint you could provide!
