I've been seeing screens with these custom lockscreens. How do I go about getting some of these? Do I have to create them myself? Sorry if I sound like a total newbie. I'm probably gonna be stuck with my Hero for another year because of Sprint's changes. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Most people use widget locker in order to get a custom lock screen. It's a paid app though.

I'm on my phone at work right now, so I can't search for any links. But currently I'm running aospCmod 3/26. If you could post different lockscreens with screens that would be great. I'm just getting bored with the vanilla lockscreen. Thanks om advance for any help.

Just saw an app I think called simply lockscreen in android development and hacking/apps and themes section I believe. In the market too I think. Ill try to get a link. Don't know if it's what u want but it's worth looking at

now if you just want an alternate lockscreen there is a few lockbot is the best but i will say its very laggy and half the time your system lockscreen overrides it
I really just want something that actually replaces the stock screen. Whenever up tried using lockscreen apps they tend to be buggy and... like you said, the stock screen overrides the app. I just want something flashable that overrides the stock screen, not the other way around.
I haven't had time to search for anything but will try tomorrow.

I've not seen any actual lock screen replacements. Cm7 has about 5 different styles but i haven't seen any replacement lock screens in a while since everyone was putting vanilla lock screens on sense
¿dpeeps74?
word, using widget locker is legit, paid for app but its great!! I have 3 different widgets on the screen and it's only not worked like once but i think it was a phone issue not the actual program.
Hello,
i have a simple question: does anybody know if the animations of the htc weather live wallpaper are getting looped?
and what about the animation when you open the weather app? do they stop after a time or are also looped?
thanks,
a user
I'm also interested!

Your more likely to get a reply to this from tomorrow onwards once there on the street and people have a device to play with.
But for now, let's enjoy the beauty .
can I just ask if there is a way to get these work on SGS II?

No. Many have tried to get Sense on a Samsung device since before Sense 3.0 and continually failed. (Ports that were made were always flakey at best.) Sense is coded to work with drivers HTC uses.
Mine stops after about a minuet and doesn't get looped for both the wallpaper and the application

yes, it gets looped..you can see it upfront anyway, but the time it plays is just short that's why it's hard to notice.
Is it?

Yes, but I think (can't remember for sure) that maybe you'll need to be running a ROM with TouchWiz 4 (like some of the I9000 Gingerbread ROMs). Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But I think the AccuWeather might actually be the only widget that can work without TouchWiz 4.

probably just need the framework files that are posted in the dev section. noone has tried to bake these into an infuse rom but you might need an i9000 rom. not sure.

i also attached GSII Days widget and Calendar Widget..
I really liked the TW4 Calendar widget on my dad's GSII (international version) because it gives you three options.. Full calendar style, Agenda style, and Small calendar style.. but on infused v2 with tw4.5 only the latter two work... can you figure out a way to fix this?? haha it says problem loading widget...
oh yeah, the Days widget, which also looks cool .. doesn't work.. if i remember i think it froze whenever i tried to use it.. w/e i'll upload all three (accuweather widget/calendar/days) if i can figure out how to...

You need the Mini Diary app to make the Days widget work.

How can you tell these custom rom are secured? I mean is there any way to know if some kind of hidden crap setup to feed your personal info to rom deveoper? Just like to ensure
What about the Buddies now.apk widget for TW4. and how do you modify the framework.jar without screwing everything up
Hey everyone,
Just wondering if there's a way to use the Nova Launcher with Sense widgets? I really like the look and speed of Nova but I don't want to give up my weather clock widget. I really like it, lol.
I haven't been able to find any workarounds, so input would be appreciated.
Thanks!
J

Nope. Sense widgets require you to be using sense launcher.

Looks great!
sense weather and clock widgets are the best for me..
if anyone can make them working on 3rd party launcher would be super great.
maybe it's not even possible..

So i decided to cruise the Virtuous Team website when i ran across this app. You can add widgets to your lockscreen as well as customize your shortcuts. There is a free and a paid version. just hit the link and read more about it and download.
http://www.virtuousrom.com/2012/09/virtuous-widgets-reinventing-sense.html
only for sense 4
Wow definitely cool! Thanks! I'll have to check that out.

I know this is late as hell, but I think that is the "Eye in Sky Weather" app.
