i am a flashaholic i change roms just about every day ive been running super d for the past week...not by choice..im not sure wether its metamorph super d my recovery or what but whenever i try to switch roms from super d i always get stuck in a bootloop it dosent matter wether it is a 1.5 or 2.1 rom nothing works my nandroid always crashes and tells me to run via adb...i have no laptop or computer. soo no adb for me is there any way i can get some other rom than super d

You need to do a full wipe before flashing any rom or you will be stuck in bootloop. Oh yes, and please read the rules before posting. This is NOT development. Some of us are comnig to a point where we get sick and tired of people posting in the wrong section every day, so please, be careful.

I just rooted my g1 yesterday and flashed a dwang 1.17.1 it work well all day and when i got home i tried to flash a new rom but after i did it i tried to boot up the android screen came on then afer that the screen was just black so i so i went back into my recovery img uses usb toggle and put the dwang back on there flashed that but im getting the same black screen what do i need to do hopefully its not bricked

But to ans your Q, you need to wipe when changing roms each time.

you're not bricked if you can go into recovery... pretty much in general if you get past the g1 screen at all, or if you even ever see the g1 screen, then you're good... LOL
Anyway, dwang is quite outdated and does not take advantage of some new techniques and technologies that other donut devs use these days. Chances are, though, that your problem is with the method with which you installed dwang... incorrect spl, etc.
Try super D or Cyanogen. Those should give you consistent working results with the newest technologies. And next time, please use the g1 Q&A section, people are more willing to help you in there.
As long as you can get back into recovery your not bricked. Just do as Ace said and do a full wipe and then reflash and you should be fine.

Its development not general ......... but 2 answer ur question if u can get into recovery ur not bricked . And u need to always do a nandroid backup b4 flashing n it will save u this type of problem

I had my phone (HTC HERO) rooted and it worked great then my phone was stolen. When the replacement came in I rooted it first thing with fresh 2.1.2 but my phone would not receive or make calls.
So then I had to run the 1.5 RUU to get back to stock thinking I was going to have to get some warrant work. Well that bricked my phone getting the 110 error that many other seem to get too.
I found the fix, and opened command prompt and ran fastboot oem boot. This fixed my phone and I was back running 1.5
After testing my phone, I seen that it made calls with not problem and it was the fresh rom that was messing my phone up. I decided I would not root my phone again, instead just install the 2.1 update. I tried to update through the phone but it did not work so I downloaded the 2.1 RUU and ran it.
I've been using the 2.1 update now for a week and I am unsatisfied. It is incredibly slow compared to my rooted phone. I tried using fresh kitchen to root my phone but it says I have a custom room and fails. (I thought running the 2.1 RUU was like a factory update?)
Anyways, is there a way for my to root my phone again? I am stuck and not sure what to do.

I have the new inspire 4G. I recently rooted it with Bubbys one click. Obviously a great program to use or I can promise you that I wouldnt be up and running!! The problem I am having is that I want to load a new ROM. Looking at the core droid ROMS. I have downloaded the one I want and gone into my ROM manager to load it from SD card. Its on my SD card and I select it. Once it does the data wipe and backup it says its gonna reboot into CWM....the problem is that it never does. The HTC logo screen comes up and then fades to black. I have to take the battery out and put it back in to actually get the phone to turn off and back on. Once it turns back on it goes back to the same ROM ive been using that came with Bubbys once click. What the heck am I doing wrong??
I am totally new to this and have been reading everything I can get my hands on....but I need professional help....in more than one way Im sure!! Any help would be appreciated. I already checked the answer and questions page in Bubbys section. I didnt see an answer.

well for the past century iv been trying to root my two magics as they got really boring sitting around all useless.
BTW I have a desire hd Rooted with CWM recovery and running Spike Pure Gingerbread ( LOVE IT!!!!)
yeh anyways, well these two magics been giving me troubles as they are almost impossible to root.... but yes i found a tool thats just frikn amazing!!! srsly i duno what it even is but its amazing! request if u want and ill upload, bu its literally a one click sort of thing, Its called the super one click magic root. yes so i did this and successfully have rooted both phones, but now wen i press and hold home+power to enter into recovery it will go into a recovery and i can move around for like 7 seconds, then its simply just fades away, the phone pretty much crashes.. :S but it starts up all fine again, so im just wondering how do i fix this :S if u need any details about the phone just ask thanks in advanced guys/girls

Im coming from the Samsung Vibrant.. so i know a thing or two about rooting, flashing etc.. im lookin forward to join you guys..
but before i join yall, i have to buy the phone first LOl..
i saw one a CL and ive been talking to this person awhile about the phone.. we are going to meet up after she gets off work..
But she told me that the phone came in the mail, and is not opened because she decided to go with a Galaxy S 4g instead.. But the post says feburary 2nd so its been a little over a month, im sure she or whoever have used it by now..
So my question is this: (if it is opened and or have gotten used)
-- What do i need to look for on this phone when i meet up with her? What are certainties that i need to know and make sure this phone is mint before i make the buy?

Check the H Boot version and s on. 1.17 or 1.18 H Boot version with s on is fine and you can use revolutionary to s off, 1.23 s on is no bueno and cannot be s off with Revolutionary.
Do Not use HTC Unlock, it doesn't really unlock the bootloader for flashing radios and kernels, you need to be s off for that, which means custom ROMS won't instal properly and you will bootloop or be in some other unusable state. Only Revolutionary will give you s off.
Be careful flashing firmwares, read the stickies in General section and always read all of the instructions in ROM threads if you plan to flash any custom ROMS.
I recommend running a benchmark program to make sure everything is running fine. I use Antutu, but you can get the want you want. Check for the average result for the HTC Sensation for the particular benchmark program you use, and make sure the one you'll get is within normal values.
