[Theme] Zen Beta Released! 20/07

ok guys here is a theme i have been currently working on and just wanted to know if you guys had any interest in it. it doesn't have a proper name but its code name is Zen. feel free to suggest names and i will choose whichever i think suits it best. The theme is in a alpha stage at the moment as there are still lots of areas i plan on themeing. im also not 100% sure on the dock yet and currently testing ideas for a new one. i hope at least some of you guys are interested .

no reason its just the style of the wallpaper im using which was created by daaxix from twitter. i asked someone to provide me with a simple wallpaper i could use with my theme and he responded with this.

It's fine, I just thought it would look cleaner and more natural if it wasn't there

it looks really good, but whats with the giant pokeball? You have to be rooted to install these right?

lol i dont know i just preferred it to the grid of squares on stock. if people dont like it i can try find a replacmenet yeah you have to be rooted.

This is the best theme I have seen since gChrome!
I converted this wallpaper from a Gnome (Ubuntu) wallpaper because I liked it. I set the line up so that the bottom row of icons on the phone lie in the dark region. This allows for a dark and light region, I use the upper light region for a google calendar widget, which makes the text easy to read.

sense sucks(except for some of the widgets) so dont worry about doing anything w/ sense...as much red as we can get for cm6 would be great...i would try to do some stuff w/ the status bar like changing the 3g/wifi icons, the time, also i like that battery icon that was on your other red customization (the circular red one)...just a few suggestions, i will try to think of some more...thanks dude, your stuff is badass!

I'd like to see red or maybe even yellow for the sky raider rom. I actually like sense just don't like how the launcher looks on it. Anything would be appreciated though. Thanks for the themes and keep up the good work

I'm kinda leaning toward theming that Rom... 2.2 with sense is pretty nice, plus I don't see issues with cm6 getting fixed anytime soon. Im so torn between the two roms, cm has trackball wake and customization for long pressing the home button but the new 2.2 rom has internal storage and may have a working camera soon.
I should've put a little more thought into that poll... opinions anyone?

I think you should work on the most functional roms first. That way your time won't go to waste, you'd be theming a Rom that no ones going to be using. Thinking you should really go with sky raider for now.
And I agree about the launcher on sense its the main reason I don't use sense ui. Wait till a real stable cm 6 comes out then make a bada** theme for it.. ill get your kid some nice power rangers if u do!

Definitely Blue/Red for CM 6.
I think as the bugs are worked out over the next couple (few?) weeks, a lot of people will be moving over to Cyanogen.

I'll be getting CM6 as soon as the bugs are worked out and it would be great to have a red theme for that.

+1 to red CM6...Cyanogenmod's gonna be HOTTT!! Verizon made the highlights red, so its only fitting...Dark status bar with a transparent window!

Sorry for my absence, I am finally feeling healthy. Looks like it's gonna be red for CM-6. I'm starting a to-do list on the op so i can prioritize, so if you want any of those custom icons please remind me...
I recall that someone asked about handcent and pandora...
Also, I need three testers who can thoroughly test these cm themes... I need people who have great attention to detail and a lot of time. PM me if you can meet those qualifications.

What are the chances you could package a red themed NexusMod live wallpaper with your red theme? In particular the wallpaper from the droid. That would be sick, and I can't find the damn wallpaper anyway.

Yeah id like neural network too. Or maybe ask koush to port it? He's the one that got the nexus wallpaper working on the Droid months ago, it never loaded until he came along.

My girlfriend would freak if you could make an all purple theme and I told her I would but it wouldn't get done until the next major android update comes out. She saw this thread and begged me to post to ask you. Thanks.

Chances are slim, unless you can get me the source code for it... then i may be able to hack it, but that would take me forever since i have no skills
Of course, if you use CM roms nexus mod is included.

[Themes/Fixed][Update 9/24][Tested On 3.29 Base] Konikub's Themes with Gallery FC Fix

This is Konikub's legendary theme collection with repairs made to stop Gallery from FC'ing. I used a little alchemy including Koni's base themes (of course!), along with the SuperCircle battery mod, and the Incredible fix (http://androidforums.com/adrynalyne/156159-themes-konikub-themes-fixed-droid-incredible.html). Please leave feedback if there are any issues, but I am pretty sure they are 100%. To fix Gmail FC, just go into application settings and clear Gmail data. All credit goes to Konikub because he is a bad ass themer!
UPDATE: I've become aware of some of the problems with some of the themes. I thought they were cool, but, that is not the case. Give me a couple of days to sort it out and they will all be good. For now, I'm leaving the links up for those who want to check them out or play with them. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
UPDATE 9/24: All of Koni's awesome themes have been 100% repaired. They have all been tested on Calkulin's 1.3rc1 rom based on the 3.29 OTA update. The SuperCircle Battery Mod has been added to Aloysius, EvoElite, and Sapphire. Cherub, DetoxBlues, Detox, and Minimalist have the original battery icons. One other minor tweak is I had to use the Aloysius Rosie.apk on Sapphire, Detox, and DetoxBlues. However, this fully maintains the spirit of these awesome themes. I'm tethered on a bad signal at work right now (4:07 AM) so I can't upload them just yet. Give me a few hours to get home and they will be ready to go. Thanks to everybody for their patience during this learning experience. Remember, ALL CREDIT GOES TO KONIKUB FOR HIS PHENOMENAL WORK!!!

Nice work. 3D gallery wasnt bad so I wasnt goin too crazy without the fix. But its nice to have a stable theme on the phone.

Just flashed the Detox theme and it looks like some of the icons in the notification bar got mixed with the detox blues icons (battery, signal strength, 3G up and down arrows, 4G and gps) I don't have wifi at work so haven't checked that yet.
I would be willing to donate some cash if you could get all green icons with the detox battery icon (no circle) and a clear lockbar on the locksceen.

also when using the the fresh rom 3.0.2 i am am getting a CLEAR bottom bar?? thanks for the attempt to help the FC issues but looks like still needs some work.....

ill take some mixed matched icons to get over that FC, that was upsetting. I did three hard resets before i finally figured it was the Theme

I'll take a fresh look at Detox to see what's going on. Thanks.
edit: Just added Aloysius and Cherub. Will get to Detox when I'm not so buzzed

It looks like I borked the Sapphire, Detox, and DetoxBlues themes. I think the problem is I got Rosie.apk mixed up. I was rushing to get the fix out and might have got my workspace jumbled. It's my birthday today (32 ;( ) , and I will be to buzzed to put anything out (maybe).

Midnight was my personal favorite on CM6. I'll definitely consider a version with a vertical GB-style battery once I get everything up to speed.

Yup I see that. Stock k/b looks great. I've only tried Crimson Frost so far but I do have a minor request or maybe it's already there and just isn't working on my Evo. When charging the phone, that battery style I'm used to seeing a charging symbol. Would it be an easy add/fix?

Do you have any plans to make one like Crimson Frost, but with the full blue skinning of the Midnight theme? Like white bar, blue icons, blue round battery meter, etc, and blue/white skinning? That would look hot.

Ok so the exact color of the gold/yellow is "ffc422"

What I'm looking for is a theme that has that color in places like the battery, wifi, cell strength, vibrate, silent, sound icons (etc), and when a user presses a button, that color is what will be highlighted. And the keyboard would be awesome. So something like this (see screenshots).
So basically, most everything that is in a normal theme, just in the bruins color (ffc422).
If I'm asking for too much, I'm sorry. I have no idea if making a theme is time consuming, or if its just a matter of plugging in a different color.

I know nothing about theming. I do know it is very time consuming. That being said....I am the biggest Bruins fan on the planet and would donate generously for a nice Bruins theme

I almost made one for sky raider but ran out of time. I have not built anything for cm7 before. I have a nice wall paper thatni can upload when I get back to a pc.
