Cannot get my internet to launch through tf3d tab/icon. I can get it to launch through the start menu and programs. But just not through tf3d. Any suggestions?
FYI:I just download from RRE 4.5 rom to RRE 5.8 rom. On an unlocked Fuze for T-Mobile. Thanks in advance.

No, I'm using aruppenthals RRE 5.8 rom. I just downloaded 5.8 version from his 4.5 version.
is the internet tab in this ROM known to work?
Yes, it works when I use it out of the start menu and programs, just not tf.
It will launch the favorites like YouTube and stuff, just not when I hit the big internet icon and "launch" from the right soft key.
firstly, you can change the linking using TF3D Config 0.6.7 (If i'm not mistaken)...
besides that, that fact that your browser works thru the start/programs has nothing to do with your tf3d. maybe everyone using that ROM have the same problem.. which means the chef needs to do something about it.
aahh. gotcha. I understand now about the tf3d being separate from the programs and such. Sorry I am a noob to the whole tf3d thing.
Any chance you can give me the path I need to enter in the tf3d configuration? So when I touch the internet globe in tf3d it will take me to internet explorer.

I went into windows through total commander and copied the path file from there and I still couldn't get it to work through tf3d.
strange. if you found /windows/iexplore.exe... it should work flawlessly. did you soft reset afterwards?

I have installed the latest version of skyfire from www.skyfire.com.
However, it says "skyfire cannot proide service in your country at this time". I am using energy's HD2 rom, the one with cookie's home tab.
This error doesn't let me use skyfire. Any help?

I had the a similar problem.
Uninstall, then install it again and the first time you start it make sure your connected to a local Wifi. I found this solution via a google search and even though it sounds stupid, it actually worked.

I installed the newly released Office 2010 mobile from the Marketplace, but when I tap on OneNote, nothing happens. I have a German HD2 with stock ROM. All other apps run ok. I installed Office on internal storage.
Does anybody else have the same issue?
so You're saying it's not beta anymore? have they updated outlook as well?
Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Sharepoint & OneNote.
I didn't look if Outlook got updated too and now I have it uninstalled because I want OneNote...
and to answer your question: Yes, Office 2010 mobile is out of beta and now available on the US Marketplace.

Office Mobile is available on the German marketplace as well.
It looks like there is no Outlook 2010 included. All Progs have a "Info" Tab where it shows Office Mobile 2010, Outllok is missing this and it looks exactly the same than before.

Did you manage to install the localized version? When I try to, I get an error. I can only install the US version.
After reading user comments on the Marketplace, I am not alone!
I'm using German Stock ROM with Market Place Vers. 1.2.1422.0000.
Office Mobile 2010 is the second application under "Neuigkeiten, sorted by "Neueste anzeigen". The application required a soft reset after installation and I have no problems so far. Everything is in German, no possibility to choose any language.

Every second time I open the marketplace, I see Office 2010! When I try to install it I get a connection error.

Maybe. I will wait till tomorrow to see if it gets any better. As I posted before I am not the only one with those problems. Just connect to the US Marketplace and read the reports. Many have issues running OneNote and Excel.
I have the same issue on the Dutch stock ROM HD2. Maybe because I installed the US version on the Dutch phone? Now the US version is bound to my marketplace, so I can't download the Dutch version. But as said, maybe that's marketplace crumbing under load?
Just downloaded from Marketplace (Holland), no issues noticed sofar. OneNote works fine.
I use a custom Rom.
It has definitely sth to do with the Live ID used for installation. I have a couple of Windows Live IDs, so I logged in with a different one (than the original one) and now I can install the "native" Office version. I rebooted and all problems are gone! OneNote works now!

Confirmed! Uninstalling US version and installing NL didn't worked with the same Live ID account in Marketplace (because I already 'bought' the free US version, and downloading NL version fails).
I linked a new Live ID account, which enabled the NL download, installed it and now OneNote is working! Also noticed that I now have labels in my menu's in Sharepoint Workspace.
It's a pity Marketplace can't figure this out for himself!

I thought marketplace is somehow similar to iTunes - means country specific.
Means, you can only connect and download from where your registration comes from.
If this is the case, no wonder it doesn´t work if you "tricked" something to get into the US marketplace - you get 409 software...
Anyway, btt, no problems here (currently in Austria), everything runs just fine.

i installed mobile wifi router and since it was "designed for an older version of windows mobile" (im on 6.5) it doesnt show up in start menu.
i looked in fileexplorer but couldn't find it.
how can i find it?
