NOOB: Change Language, or Keyboard Layout?

Hi there, I've got an ulocked g3 running farias image.
just wanted to ask if there is an possibility to change the language to german.
or maybe the keyboard layout? on my last try i found a man somewhere and got half a german layout no ä ö ü etc. also the t9 system wasn't working.
right now i just flashed it , so its maiden-like )
Some help would be really nice!

Brackets like { or [

Hello again,
lets see if i can solve my latest problem myself again before anyone answeres here
Any chance to write angled or cambered brackets (word-by-word translation, hope its correct)? I mean {, }, [ and ]
If i press the #-Button to enter the special charakter page i can find the "normal" brackets only, ( and )
is there a second page or another way to get more charakters?

Hi,
When I press the # Button to enter the special character page I can see all kind of brackets. Both [] and {}.There is also a next page button where you can find other characters.
Here is a screen shot.

thanx for you quick reply. looks really familiar from the wm5 times.. but i flashed to wm6 and now there is a complete different page (6 x 6 symbols only and no smileys for example).
bad thing is: instead of the NEXT button i can only CANCEL
forgot what rom i got (tried some), its not the perfect english one and also not phils alpha or beta
so anyone with the wm6 rom knows how to fix that?

I both used Phil's Alpha and Andot's PEE (Still using this one) . Both WM6 roms had this page.By the way I am using T9 English & Turkish.

VERY NICE!! Thank you.. wouldn't have thought about this, as german t9 already works. But now i can access the options also.. thanks again

Have to bring this Topic on Top because i suddenly realized a new problem with the t9 stuff..
i tried to switch t9 from german to english cause i wanted to send message to an english speaking friend but couldnt type anything.
After installing english t9 i didnt find german anymore, so i installed german t9 again..
Any way to have both t9 working as it was wm5 standard?

Hi,
First I would like to thank all the people here that help me going into the HTC Diamond.
I would like to start a thread regarding Hebrew Accessories to share the knowledge and the c00l stuff we have/do .
This is my first one so be nice.
I took IPC Black Dialer - transparend dialer instead of the black/white one and add Hebrew letters.
just install the cab and overwrite the bmp files in the zip (windows folder)
enjoy and please keep doing what u do best!

For those who look for Hebrew keyboard, this is the Eyron keybord
Install mui.cab and after that eyron.cab
If you see squares instead of words, copy tahoma.ttf font to windows\fonts folder

copy the link dont click on it

push the arrow and you'll see a list of keyboard

thanks for pataging this with us, but for me it doesn't work on my diamond. I would like to read and write hebrew and surf on he web too. I have the lenglite that was very good with my P3450 but with the Diamond P7000 it's not good.
Please can you explain me how to do ?

I obtain this message after a soft reset :
The device is unable to boot because either you have turned off the device incorrectly or tried to install an application from untrusted source, Press SEND to reset your device or press any other button to cancel...etc

[SOLVED] Issue : Keyboard map characters isn't correct

I've recently installed Tomal 8.85 ROM and Radio ROM 1.18.
I have now some problems with keyboard.
I can insert into sms or text some symbols ot characters, especially that red one (usable with FN buttons).
Many thks for any help.

Try finger keyboard is included on Tomal 8.81, and in his thread you can find the .cab

I've just tried to set finger keyboard but without success, with Italian, English and Spanish characters set.
Straightforwardly i don't know the provenance of mine qtek 9000 and so maybe i don't know which language i have to choose for my keyboard.
For example i have a strange as like as "C" red character on "K" button and a strange as like as "S" on "L" button.
When i use red character usually i type a different character than it has written on mine keyboard.
You can see maybe something looking at this image (not more sharpen):

i don't know whether i understand your problem right, but have you tried to change the layout in start-->settings-->system-->advanced config-->input-->keyboard layout?

i have a problem with qwerty keybord

i have a problem with qwerty keybord on my HTC.i have hhtc s710 wm 6.5.when i write sms on qwerty keybord i have a problem. when i push w key on screen shows e.who i can attend this problem? sorry of bad english. and HTC s710 is my first smartphone with windows mobile.

when i push "w" key when i write sms in screen show letter ''e''. I click on one letter and other shows.

Download and install Advanced Config.
Then go to \Input\Keyboard Layout and try changing that.

i can't run this program
