Hi there, I've got an ulocked g3 running farias image.
just wanted to ask if there is an possibility to change the language to german.
or maybe the keyboard layout? on my last try i found a man somewhere and got half a german layout no ä ö ü etc. also the t9 system wasn't working.
right now i just flashed it , so its maiden-like )

I think i can't get PDAMobiz ROM to full german. But is it possible to change the keyboard layout to german and also the transcriber dicionary to german? (via registry?)
Did you get it done somehow ?
You need to search for "Hades Language Pack 1.3", transcriber and words will be german then, but no öüä and ß, unfortunately !

you can get german keyboard layout with Resco Keyboard German. But this software is not free.

I just flashed the shap's French rom wich works great.
However, here in Switzerland, we have a QWERTZ (Swiss French) keyboard on the Kaiser.
How can i change this in order to reflect the corrects keys pressed on the hard keyboard ?

if swiss german is the same as swiss french layout, this thread can help you. (i'm using the german one with my swiss german keyboard layout and every key is where it belongs )
i think you want to stay with french autocorrections etc (the above cab has also german autocorrect etc included)
and only want to remap the hardware keyboard (without Autocorrect files etc),
i'm not quiet sure, but changing HKLM|Hardware|DeviceMap|Keybd > CurLang to your CountryID could also help ?
correct me if i'm wrong....as i said, i'm not quiet sure...

Hi! I have istalled swype on my mobile. My question is. Can i change the swype keyboard layout to swedish? And in that thime alsow get the t9 to recognize the swedish word, not the english?
I have descovered a swedish.txt document in the swype folder with swedish letters. So this doesent feel som impossible for me.
Anybody know how to do this ?

I have the HTC Legend.
I'm dutch and I would love to use an azerty keyboard.
First thing that went on my mind was changing the HTC's keyboard. But didn't found any way on how to do that :s
The second option was changing the HTC_IME.apk that someone posted here on xda. Now, for as far as I can tell it doesn't even contain dutch :s
Then I downloaded better keyboard(with dutch language pack), but even that doesn't have azerty :s
Anyone who can help me out?
The best would be if I could use the HTC keyboard with dutch spell correction.
