Put them anywhere you like, then select it in the settings tab. You will find it opens the album, then select the picture.

Important notes:
There are a total of 292 wallpapers split into three zip files. See below for download links and preview thumbnails and check post 2 for today screen examples based a few of those wallpapers.
The attached wallpapers are 800x400 HD wallpapers (full screen) instead of the and 696x400 versions (fullscreen minus taskbar and softkey bar). Therefore they are most useful when used in combination with HDWall or Max TF3D or other utilities that allow the use of full screen wallpapers by enabling transparent or aero style taskbar and softkey bars. For guidance on how to enable full transparency including taskbar and softkey bar, please check the following threads:

I anyone wants me to add their favourites to the thread, please PM me your wallpapers and I will create a best off with those. I think it makes sense to have a centralized source for wallpapers rather than having to look through hundreds of pages in various threads.
I already have a few third party ones (not own creations) that I am considering adding into a third archive file. but in order to minimize work I will wait until I have at least a further 50 to post.

Your thanks are much appreciated. It is such a relief to have everything out and posted. You can imagine how I was feeling when I started this project.
Downloading entire desktop wallpaper web sites with Metaproducts Offline Explorer really sped up the work, but the editing of so many png files...

It works for me. You probably tried downloading during peak time. Wait until the bandwith tracking has been reset.

I second this....although i dont think its hard, but it is a tad bit annoying. I want like a full packed up zip.
These are cool thanks for sharing. I also made a big pack of wallpapers I use with the Photo Gallery Live Wallpaper that I might as well share. They are high quality png's cropped down to n1 res from a bunch of wallpapers I got on deviantart. The way I use them is I put them all on the sd card in some folder then point the live wallpaper at that folder.
Sorry, it is a big file (98.46MB). It has 105 wallpapers at the time of posting this but I do add to it.

that is a bad link the DL starts runs a sec. and then gets hung up!
i made a boot animation to match the liberty rom. it is the raising of the flag on mnt serabachi on iwo jima. i made the folder structure and the appropriate desc.txt but it wont play on my dx. Can anyone help me get this to work?
sound DO NOT WORK on liberty Rom (dont ask me why cuz i really dont know), i was checking you animation and i recommend to use at least minimum 480x320 image size and max 480x854 , as you may know you can set the animation size on the desc.txt so no need to go high and then going down on the desc.txt , that way you'll have a not heavy and lighter zip file at the end cuz 29MB for a bootanimation is kinda big using only 220 frames.....
P.S. that's one of the reason i use .jpg format instead of .png
thank you for the reply. is there any way to batch resize the pictures? i really dont want to do 220 pics individually. I CAN however, batch rename the pictures to the .jpg extension. I will do that and research how to batch resize.

mmm not really the programs i use just do batch rename and format change but not resize :-( ...... i have never have the need on doing it cuz use a program to create my clips and safe those clips with the right size and then create the jpg's out of it
well i found that both gimp and photoshop can batch resize easily so i am going to try that

well you need a plugin, but its free and so far working great! not only is it resizing all my images, but it is also changing em to .jpg at the same time.
i just finished resizing, im going to try it now.
ok i tested the boot animation again with the resized pictures in a jpg format. the size is now 480x360 because i kept the original ratio, and i made the desc.txt 480x360 at 15fps. i converted everything to .jpg and i removed the audio. i used the liberty toolbox to flash it then i confirmed it was in the right spot using root explorer. i rebooted and all that appeared was a blank screen... any suggestions?

Make sure when putting all the files/images/desc file into the zip you set the compression method to STORE and not NORMAL. When my bootanims were just a black screen this is what fixed it.

if you are using WINRAR do the follow :
1- select the folders and file to compress
2- right click on you mouse/touch pad (in case you are using a laptop like me LoL)
3- select " add to archive"
4- there you can change you compression method from normal to store
5- add a name to the file and select ZIP
6- click OK
7- you're done.
if you are using 7zip is pretty much the same steps from winrar...

a few things for future reference though,
1. what is a good gif creator? i have tried at least 10 websites and at least 6 programs and none do what i want efficiently. i want to open all 220 frames at once and make an animation rather than opening each individually like i had to.
2. what is a good video to jpg creator? i had to go frame by frame and take snapshots for my entire animation last time and i took like 2 hours:/

1 - Animated GIF Producer and Ulead GIF Animator so far are the best out there
2 - Video to JPG converter is my favorite and the best for bootanimations.

Hello to everyone
Before we start somthing about me, im 19 Years old and from swiss, so sorry for my bad english
I was able to animate the softkeys and i think it would make your device a little bit cooler
I attached various zip files, the Systemui.zip file is a flashable zip with Stock SystemUI with modded code, so you can flash a animated button.zip
the second zip file called dev-files.zip this zip contains the basic files for animated softkeys.
the preview.zip contains small videos how it looks
Guide how to add your own animated softkeys to a decompiled Systemui.apk
-Download the dev files.zip
-first delete navigation_icon_xxx.png in res/drawable-xxhdpi (the xxx is for the button you want to animate there could be home,back or recent_apps)
-now copy the Layouts from the zip, just copy the layouts for the button you want to animate ) copy to res/layouts
-now copy the navigation_icon_xxx_transparent.png in res/drawable-xxhdpi (the xxx is for the button you want to animate there could be home,back or recent_apps)
-make your own png set (i used paint with rotationzoom) and give them numbers, start at navigation_icon_xxx_1.png
copy them to res/drawable-xxhdpi
-now you just need to edit the navigation_icon_xxx.xml found in the files.zip at drawable-xxhdpi
so for every png you have made, made a line in the xml file like this :
<item android:duration="60" android:drawable= @drawable/navigation_icon_recent_apps_1" />
with android:duration you can set the time how long the png will show up at display in milisec.
and at android:drawable you will neet to add your png name. like @drawable/navigation_icon_xxx_1"
-compile and have fun :victory:
Guide to make flashable Icons
once you got the mod in your systemui you ar able to flash other icons.
you can use one of my flashable zips for buttons, just change the pngs found in vrtheme/system/priv-app/Systemui/Systemui.apk/res/drawable-xxhdpi
there where some restrictions:
-just flash the pngs no xml files else systemui will crash ( i think its because the generated IDs for every png ) correct me if im wrong
-your png set need to have the same amount of pngs , like the old animation ( in my systemui and files postet below for every buttons where 36 Pngs)
- they need to have the same name as before
-if you want to animate the back button, and you got a flashable animated home button zip, just change the name of all pngs like from navigation_icon_home_1 to navigation_icon_back_1 do this with all png in the zip.

If you want a home button.zip as back or recent button just change the png names to navigation_icon_back_x or navigation_icon_recent_apps_x
Its tested on Stock Android 5.0.1 Sense 6 Rom
Bugs:
-Sometimes the animation stops, you just need do put your device in landscape mode this will fix it
- Glow Animation of the recent Button is not working.

This is a pretty cool mod. I won't be flashing it myself because I like to stay pretty close to stock but definitely keep up the good work!
It's too busy for me, too much going on, but I appreciate the effort and the idea. It's definitely a cool thing to be able to do and to have. Also, it opens up the opportunity for people to explore similar mods.
I'd personally quite like to see something a bit more subtle, maybe 'pulsing' or 'breathing' buttons. I like the Lollipop buttons too (triangle, square, circle). Don't know why HTC stuck with their old style. I'm not asking for them but it would be nice

Yeah would love to see this too
but there are 2 Problems:
the next 4 months i need to learn for school, and dont have much time to do this
and the other one is, i never made an app or somthing this way, i do not have that much knowledge in developing.
But if someone would help me or want to do this, why not

would only play the first 36 images, so you would need to edit the animation xml in the decompiled systemui
