i have some questions
1. how i uninstall netframework 3.7? (i already go do settings-apps-remove apps but is not listed so i cant uninstall)
2. ** Mod Edit - Requesting Warez will get you a ban - first Warning! **
3.where i can download a registry editor?
4. is there a fm transmitter for the hd2?
5. is there something the iphone can do the hd2 dont?
thanks for the help...
omg thanks for the help
Anything the iphone CAN do the hd2 wont?
Uhh... no, not really. iphone is very limited in features... HD2 is great.
The problem most people see though, is that the HD2 and WM development is very small compared to the iphone, and therefor has less options app wise.
HD2 is very customizable, fun, and growing though.
moved to QnA, not dev related.

Firstly....this isn't HTC tech support or your own little support line. Snotty replies when everyone doesn't jump to help a noob, who bought a phone he can't understand, will not get you much help from your fellow users......

1. Can't be uninstalled, it is written into the rom. Why would you want to ?
2. Asking for warez violates the rules of this forum and will get you banned. People put a lot of time and effort into developing apps, open your wallet and stop looking for ways to cheat these people.
3. HERE and HERE
4. Receiver ; yes , No transmitter in phone unless you are talking about those cheap little transmitters that plug into your phone and transmit music sound to your FM car radio; don't know google it.
5. Yes, integrate Apple programs ( Safari, iTunes , Quicktime, ) and apps ( App Store ) seamlessly on to your phone. In essence turning your phone into an iPod that makes phone calls.
As Denco has kindly answered your questions, this thread therefore serves no purpose and is closed.

Aside from being in a wrong site, I can barely understand what you are saying.
Should this thread be moved or just closed?
ronyalam, what are you asking for? The Nokia phone model, or equivalent software for an XDA/HTC phone?

sound over cellphone networks is far from cd quality though
with the hardware seperation of gsm sound and pda sound that
all pocketpc phones seem to suffer from i doubt that it would work on
them though
so if thats what you are asking i'd say small chance
(tmobile G1) I was just wondering what are the benefits and the things you can do with the jailbreak. My brother inlaw has a jailbroken iphone and has been showing me these things that I would like to do with my G1. i.e... Theme sound effects for opening closing apps, etc. Also he is able to get cracked apps for his phone. If there is a list on this forum or anywhere online please send me a link. Thank you and I look forward to having fun with my phone.

Hi New2
Just so you know, we do not condone the use of or the requesting of cracked apps, this is fraud and not permitted on xda.
As your new here and probably didnt know as such, no warning given this time, but please do not ask for cracked apps again, we like XDA and dont want to get our [email protected]@es spanked

Development thread for a software method to morph your voice during a phone call
The idea is to develop a software method which let's you morph your voice during a phone call. There are many ways to achieve this and I am amenable to suggestions.
Since I was not able to find any API which let's you configure the voice or the stream from the microphone or something similar I came up with the idea to write a driver for the microphone, which would give me the ability to change my voice directly within it, but after some research it was clear to me that it can't be that easy.
Updates:
05.05.2010 - Microphone driver solution died. Researching for a new way...
Windows Mobile doesn't seem to have any influence on the microphone during a phone call. Deeper research about the hardware of the phone is necessary (processors, DSP/MDSP,....).
HELP IS APPRECIATED AND ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME
I will update this thread as some news appear.
Please write your suggestions and your ideas directly as post in this thread.
Good idea !
good luck , i'll watch this thread
You'll get a better response in this forum...

You've posted in a HD2 specific forum, but that one is specific to Windows Mobile software development.
Device specific
The reason why I posted it here is that I am going to develop the driver on this device (HD2 Leo) and because the only solution so far i figured out is developing a driver, which is device specific.
good idea, i have been after an app similar to the "i am t-pain" (autotune)app from iphone
please can you use autotune?
God speed to you good sir!

Fair enough, but surely it wouldn't be a device specific driver to do this? Never mind.
This will be great for extortions. The question is whether we can find a way to disgiuse the phone's ID and location (which can be found using cellular triangulation) otherwise we have achieved nothing here.
lol this would be a fun one... hopefully you can work some magic and create a special treat for us hd2 users

Autotune is an app for iphone, which obviously can't help us here.
In addition autotune doesn't morph your voice during a phone call.
The main problem here is not the morphing itself (such apps already exist for WinMo), but the fact that it needs to be done while you make an active call.

Live morphing during a active phone call would be nice..
There is a software name Voice Twister for Windows mobile which can do live morphing but not during active phone calls..

We have a serious man here.
I have found this great add-on for any android/windows mobile lover out there its just the basic screen lock look as a android phone. Just download the .cab file below to the device memory, soft reset and you enjoy. As far as I know it works for windows mobile 6.5 with any WVGA screen. I'm not sure who to give credit to but you are out there somewhere

xda needs a "no thanks" button lol, but i believe this does not belong here
Um your wrong on that, because this is an android file so therefore it belongs here even though its not development. So next time keep your comments to yourself.
Um, actually you are wrong so the comments from the previous poster are valid. This is an Android "style" lock but by your own admission it is for WM and therefore should actually go under the WM Themes and Apps section where I'm sure it will find a lot more hits. Android roms don't use cab files, but rather apk files for installations.
There's also no need to attack someone merely making a valid observation.
Thread moved to HD2 Themes and Apps with a 24 hour redirect.
Please next time do not post WM apps in the Android Dev forum. Regardless of what the WM app is designed to LOOK LIKE.

Actually, since I am the Author of the App, and the first place I posted it was in the "Other" thread, I would have to say that this is, in fact, the Otherthread.
Though I appreciate that others enjoy my work, and wish to spread the news about it, it is best practice not to duplicate threads. Thank you for getting my work out to more people, but please next time search the site before posting.
For further information on AndroidLock and updates on my progress for future patches, please visit the apps homepage at drakesart.wordpress.com under Windows Mobile 6.5.

Hi guys, I'm new to xda-developers. Can anybody help me which android apps are mostly widely used now a days...
Thanks in advance...
Your question is a little broad. Games? Productivity? Flashing?
I think most people on this forum would agree that Titanium Backup is near the top of any list.
Seems like everyone but me is playing Angry Birds.
Most people get a lot of use out of the Music apps. And if you have functioning GPS (you should be able to get there from studying the posts on the forum) you'll get a lot of use out of Google Maps and Navigation.

Thanks for the reply, Soccer_Dad.
Well, I'm asking about the Android Games. I've bought a new android mobile and I don't know what games to be played. I like adventurous kind of games.
Can u suggest me some websites...?

Thanks a ton PhilDsT and Jamay for the your support.
Can I know which is best among Android, Iphone, Blackberry, Symbian and others. I've searched a lot for this, but I can't get right answer.
Of course this is not a poll, I'm just waiting for someone telling me the effective answer.
Thanks in advance.
I will try with my simple english (and a little help from google =)
(for thanks, there is a button at the bottom right of each post)
This is not a poll, this is a troll
There is no best mobile operating system, and no right answer...
That depend on your needs, android is open (a little free), iOS is closed (but can be open), Symbian doesn't have the success it deserve and i don't know blackberry.
My favorite is AOSP ; android open source project (with custom rom), because I find all apps I need and all mods I need...
@ Jamay......Sorry for my bad English......
see my signature =)
Thaks
