I am looking for an app similar to HTC's Footprints.
An app where I can geotag pictures and maybe publish online places I have been (maybe on Facebook). An app that can work together with CoPilot Live 8.0.0.659 OR GoogleMaps.
Thank you!

Hey guys!
Does anyone know if there is a way for the facebook tab for a contact to bring up the facebook app instead of launching the mobile facebook website?
For clarification: bring up a facebook linked contact in sense and click to view their profile, a comment, or an update. m.facebook launches in the browser for me. I would much prefer the facebook app instead.
Thanks!
This points out yet another reason to freaking uninstall that facebook app. It doesn't DO much does it?
I like the app and this seems like HTC's fault or maybe Google's. You know how when you have multiple apps duplicating functionality you get to choose which app handles each request and/or set default. Maybe Google needs to add an action for facebook?
Also the notifications that the facebook app fires off link to the mobile website instead of opening the app? What the?

No, this fault lies 99.996% on the Facebook app developers.
It's a sorry excuse for an official Facebook application in every right, especially when a 3rd party dev bests it with a limited SDK (See Babbler for Android).
theres a million apps in the market that claim to be the best, and obviously theres the one most devs include in their ROM (the official one, right?) but the widget only displays the latest status update. im curious if there is an app that will display more than just one, similar too friendstream?
tia!
The one app that I've found to be a pretty decent replacement to Friendstream is the Vodafone Update app, you can connect to FB, Twitter, & Myspace, do your updates, view messages and all that, only draw back is there's no widget, which would abolutely rock if it did have one, but that's my 2 cents as far as apps go
im looking to connect multiple social networks, im looking for a widget that displays more than one update at a time
thanks tho
m.getjar.com search for facebook ..download the app that logs you into the facebook mobile site..........better than the ones in the market IMO..

Hey XDA members!
I have a HTC Hero myself, and as we all know, it doesn't run the new SPB-shell, which is really amazing btw.
Now my friend has a HTC Desire, and it runs SPB-shell, and I'm just really impressed by the Flickr widget! It gets really nice pictures from Flickr every day, so I was searching for some kind of RSS feed that SPB uses to get those photo's, but I couldn't find it :/
Does anyone of you know a RSS feed, or a app, which shows me very nice pictures on Flickr every day? Most of the time 'trusted users' on Flickr post those nice pictures.
Thnx in advance!
I'd also appreciate an app like this, BUMP!
I am looking to find a program that will allow me to sync todo lists, notes and grocery lists between me and my girlfriend. Free would be nice. What does everyone recommend?
Evernote

Springpad and Catch are also worth looking at.

definitely reccomend Gtasks. Everything syncs with gmail so you'll never loose your tasks when changing phones.
My wife and I use Our Groceries, which is pretty much our only option, because she has an iPhone and it's the only app I've found that will sync our lists across my Nexus S and her iPhone 4.
Springpad is the best. Evernote is polished but isn't really intuitive

I'm using Springpad and quite like it
+1 for gtasks. But -7 for the price.
Catch is free, and available on both iPhone and Android (and web) https://catch.com/
Confused by the choices. However springpad has a upper hand since it also has to do list.

Springpad for me as it allows you to access notes when you don't have an internet connection, also has iPhone/iPad app.
Gx
+1 for Catch
Hello,
I don't know about task list/todo functionality (don't think it has that) but I really like Catch. Is an awesome notes application, and I've used the same account over an iphone and two android phones (and kept the same persistent notes all the way through, has been great!). As well, it has decent browser access, so you can access/create/edit notes on your pc. You can attach pictures to notes as well in the free version. All notes will be stored on both your phone and on catch servers, thus no worries regarding losing them. (If you work for the CIA, I wouldn't use Catch to store state secrets, but don't think the average user needs to worry )
As the base version is free, I'd definitely check it out! Easy for yourself and your girlfriend to sign in to the same catch account, then you share the same notes
I am looking for a contact/dialer app to replace the stock app but one which also has corporate directory search function. I've tried a bunch if apps from the marketplace - AContact, go contacts, exDailer among others but haven't found the corporate search in any.
Is there any app which looks good and also has the functionality I'm looking for?
Thanks,
Dhanvi
