NEW coloured taskbar for HTC MEGA

Let me introduce my taskbar for QVGA made especialy for MEGA. I already test on my HTC touch2 without problem.
1.Install sdkcerts.cab
2.Install main johan_taskbar.cab version which you want
3.Restart

Yes this will change your icon in taskbar.

this did not change the taskbar icon´s on my touch2. just the top icons like windows start, battery and active sync icon´s

Dude, this is the task bar, only the icons in this row, it changes only them.

My friend hello. Tried today your task bars. Excellent job on my Touch2. Just one notification. You should change in "johan_blackbar_v1_2.cab" the battery icon, with the one you have put in "johan_taskbar_orb_v1_1.cab", because in Touch 2 it isn't readable very easy. Apart from that 1.2 is fine and the device works without any problem. THNX

Thank you very much for you feedback.I know about this problem and I make new set which will be perfect for our Touch2. Give me 2-3 days and will be here.

[Manila Mod] Remove Quick Links Text and add Icons semi transparent

What's the feature ?
The cab will add the necessary registry entries to:
=> remove the text appearing below the quicklinks on Manila Home Page
If you are looking for semitransparent effect on the quicklinks icons, I have added the cab that will do the job.
Posted hereafter the quicklinks with no effect on icons (only removing the text):

1 - assign the applications into the quicklinks (what ever is the number of quicklinks, up to 5x5)
2 - install one of the attached cab [Remove text and semi transparent effect] or [Remove text only] depending on your taste
3 - restart

Correction, not working quite fine, only the first 9 icons are semitransparent, the rest of them are not...

See the registries on set-up in cab and blanked the DispNam of the rest. I have the rest done on mine.

Please do a 5x4 one also.
i was manually editing the registry entries on my device to what you have done and that takes an age.
Also... when i manually edit DispName and delete the text it has as an entry... the text dissappears, the icon goes semi transparent BUT... there is a little crosshair that appears on the bottom right hand corner of each icon (like the crosshair that is default when you havent set any quicklink).
I notice on your screens there is no crosshair... or am i just not seeing properly?

The semitransparent mod is not compatible with CoOkie Mod.
Remving the text inly seems to work.

Installation:
Install the cab file in your device. Restart once the installation is over
If you don't like the theme uninstall it (remove programs in Settings) and restart
The taskbar can be installed on 6.5, 6.5.x, VGA, WVGA and to any Manila version

Manbo IV has different Icons (From Manbo) for Facebook/Footprints/Reader/Stocks/Documents (Big thank to Cryst for the new nice icons)

I do not use the music and stock tabs so I cannot judge them yet, but will have a look at them. And I agree, the settings icon is also very nice.

The reader icon has been also customised. I have used Malicious Icon as i find it nice, Thanks to him btw.
For document icon you will keep the original one as i find it nice too (obviously if you have the tab)

Manbo II has different Icons for Home/SMS/Mail/Internet and stocks icons.
I am currently using Black Manbo II, and it looks great on mine

If I get more requests for transparent sliders, i would consider them

hi steve, i seem to have a problem installing the cab files. whenever i try to install the cab files, it will install halfway and stop, saying that the cab file cannot be installed. any help or solution? Thanks for your help! Good job on the slider btw!

oups, i never saw this problem before.
Can you try the following, go to Settings/Home/Items and select Windows Default, ok
You will shift to Titanium, from here try to install the cab
Go back to Settings/Home/Items and select back HTC Sense.
Restart, and cross your fingers
Let me know if it works

I copied the content of the attached zip file in windows folder and now I have transparent slider.

[Theme][Clocks] Coloured Glass (digital) clocks for Manila 2.5 [Updated]

Back in February I decided to have a go at making a coloured glass digital clock to match a nice wallpaper I found.
It was as much an exercise in understanding how manila images work and learning how to use the tools as it was about creating another yet another digital clock for Manila 2.5.
I made a nice 'black glass' clock and was quite pleased with the results. However, I realised that I would need need some other colours as I had in the meantime several different coloured wallpapers.
Some 6 weeks later, I have about 20 different coloured clocks, all pretty much in the same 'glass' style. So I decided to share in case anyone else out there is interested in this style of clock...

Green 'glass'...
You can install each clock as usual using the cab files attached in the next posts. In most cases, I have included a screenshot to give you an idea of how the clock will look before you install it. Uninstalling is done, as usual, via Settings/Remove Programs. If any of the previous sentence does not make any sense to you, you probably should not install these cabs...!
The clocks should work without installing any additional files, but I did make the clocks after installing other cabs (mainly to do with transparency), so please let me know if there is something missing!
The clocks work on Manila 2.5.1920 because that is what I have on my HD2. I think they should also work on 1921 (but I cannot guarantee it) and I haven't got a clue about other versions.
In order to answer a few obvious questions before they are asked...
No. I won't be making clocks 'to order'...
No. I won't be making versions for other versions of Manila...
The wallpapers are not mine. But they are available on this forum from the usual suspects. I cannot remember who posted which wallpaper, so credit goes to all of them...
Transparent Task-and Softkey bars using HDWall (search for it to get it)...
Transparency cabs are mostly 'Touch X' (from Smaberg?) and AntonioMistretta and are all available in the sticky at the top of this forum...
Glass Icons are from Jaguaralani
The glass slider is from Dinik
I'll also include somewhere one zip file with all cabs if the site will let me.

Elegancia CHT Toggle Switches and Icons

Here is the full set of Toggle Switches and Icons for CHT 1.8.5 which I put together for the latest Elegancia CHT ROMs. The switch and icon backgrounds are 60% transparent so your wallpaper is partially visible through them, and when you toggle the switches on the icons become 'backlit' and with a very slight green 'on' hue around the edges. They are a collection of some of Anhphe076's original icons which I have modified and recoloured slightly, plus some of my own mods/creations. Feel free to download and try them - hope you like them!

These are from Steve007's Elegancia ROMs but I'm sure he won't mind me sharing them! Just unzip and overwrite two files to Windows

Hey P, the switch and toggle pack for CHT 2.0 is way more extensive than CHT 1.8.5 as there are also additional toggles, status indicators and tab link icons, etc. I have made a completely new set for Elegancia V1 CHT 2.0 which should be out in the next day or so so at present they are exclusively for that.

Loved your work... Congrats I will maybe "jump" into your weather program - Just donated / you should receive something.
Three questions if you have a minute:
1) Your taskmanager icon (for example) appear transparent while mine is still the classic HTC taskmanager one... Is that part of the theme
2) I have difficulties with the taskbar : cannot get the windows icon +"start" to get sexier, and the link you posted caused the HTC to fully crash ( 6.5 vs 6.5.x I think )... any good "all roads" Taskbar you would thnk of ?
3) Your softkeys seem grey/dark, like your full theme... while my elegancia softkeys are Blue.. anything I could or should do ?
