I have looked around a little but cannot find definitive conformation that my O2 XDA Orbit 2 running WM6.1 can upgrade to WM6.5.
Can anyone please confirm either way please?
You haven't looked in the ROM Development or used the search there's about 15 different wm6.5 roms.If you mean official update no you can't.

I e-mailed O2 asking if/when an update would be made available, a month ago. No reply from them yet though, so don't think it's going to happen

You want to be looking in the Wizard WM6 forum. Read up on what you need to do and flash one of the many excellent ROMs in there.
You cannot install the Orbit ROM!
I was looking for the update to windows mobile 6.1, and I see that microsoft has one available, but you have to have vista. I only have xp, so I need some help upgrading.
Also, I looked through all the phones on this forum, and I can't find the Tmobile wing anywhere. I see my phone is also known as the HTC Atlas, but I can't find it here either....Help!
Its in the Herald Sub Forum. There are many roms sporting WM6.1 in there too.

I think you can also get wm6 official thru samsung or att.
Dainty I didn't understand from all what we will write here, how open blackjack for all the nets GSM?
Or that maybe exists a software that opens the device?

I was wondering, which edition of Windows Mobile could i use for this phone:TV966
I know, you will probably say this phone doesn't support Windows Mobile, but i contacted the supplier and he told me that the phone itself isn't loaded with Windows Mobile, but it can and does support it. Which version could i use for this phone?

Since this phone has a touch screen WM pro will be the version to use.
On how to put it on this phone, the easy way would be... Who am i kidding, there is no easy way to put WM on this, unless you port WM from scratch to this

Is it Possible - Yes, provided Eten release a WM 6.5 Rom Upgrade or Some Enterprising Soul makes a WM 6.5 Rom

I've been trying to work out whether I can (or not) upgrade my Magician (iMate Jam) to WM6.5, but found out 1) that search is (semi?)broken, and 2) that you guys use a hell of a lot of lingo that I don't understand.... So please, can someone tell me whether I can upgrade a Magician model to WM6.5, and if so, could you please point me to relevant tutorials/downloads? Hopefully I'd be able to understand them, it's not like I'm afraid to tinker.

Ok, it says I can do WM6.1 . It doesn't talk about 6.5 though. Any advice there? Or is it just too old? It IS my brother's old one.
If you cook your own ROM you can.

All is matter of reading and searching
have a look on your device section on the forum, perhaps someoene already have a 6.5 ROM
Here , R1 is 6.5. But it is for 128 machines only. To put a 6.5 on a 64 machine would leave so little ram, the phone would be unusable.
