Do you know of any MAME Emulator for HTC HD2 and a good source for roms?
I'd really like to play some of the old arcade machine games on my HD2.

I haven't been able to track one down so far that works properly on the HD2, there are old versions for Windows Mobile knocking about but you don't seem to be able to set up any controls for them, i.e. on-screen or bluetooth pad.
I'd love to see FinalBurn on the HD2 but alas, no joy as yet
too bad. I'd really like to play some of the old side-scrolling plane games on my HD2 on my way to the office. it would be awesome in landscape mode for HD2's huge display.
nothing working just yet? any development under way?

I just recently brought a HTC Topaz. And I love my phone, but I can't seem to find any decent games around?
Its a full touch screen with 4 tiny little button, which don't serve well as a game pad at all.
Are there any decent games for the Topaz specifically?

My Apologies, I think I didn't make myself clear.
I know there are loads of games\links especially on this sight. I have noticed that the majority don't work very well with a touch pad!...
I'm looking for great touch pad related games....

I have installed several that thread on my Topaz/Diamond2, and I love them...
A few of them I play with the stylus, like Warcraft and such, but the rest that I have installed works well with the touch screen or the acceloromoter...
Download a couple, and check them out for yourself

This will never happen. Games might be ported by the developers to Android. But you won't be able to emulate ios in Android.
i wish would could do that, cause i wanna play me some unicorn attack. XD

How so? They got the Android OS working on WM devices? Why is it so improbable to run iOS on Android? How about some details?

android is open source, so its possible to add drivers etc and change the kernel etc.
winmo and ios are closed source, so there is no possibility to change the code/add drivers etc.

I guess that means we're gonna be getting iOS soon cause my buddy just bought a Mustang from a Chevy dealer last week. No joke.
iOS has been on Android for a while now. That's how we got Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds. Now Apple doesn't have **** on us.

How do we get emulators for playstation, gba, snes, ps2 etc. Were theses all open source. If we can emulate consoles then why not emulate iphone games.

i don't know what's NES but i just want to play the game the one that looks like the i phon's , or the Xbox
Ah. NES is Nintendo Entertainment System. The first nintendo. As far as I can tell there isn't a port, official or unofficial, out for any android phone. Although it looks like the galaxy s should be able to handle it if they do. Check out askcapcom.com, just google street fighter 4 android port. Should be the first link in the list.
It just seems like having an iphone, xbox, or ps3 emulator on your phone wouldn't work out well for speed and stability. I mean, the xbox and ps3 are a lot more powerful than any phone. I could see the iphone since the galaxy is supposedly more powerful hardware wise.

No, nothing that can "emulate" Android but, a Windows Mobile loader is in the works for Wp7...(you could run WM 6.1+ apps/games on WP7)

Dont get me wrong, if we could run Android games on our phones as an emulator, I would not mind it at all. There are a few titles on there that I was thinking about grabbing a used Android device just to play a few games (a year old model that COULD run ICS after rooting, I can get under $100).
There are a great selection of games for WM6 and if they can run at full speed, it could be impressive.
So I am fine with both....

I know they are struggling to port the original game to Android, but it's going to be buggy and expensive.
Do you guys know game designed specifically for android of the same type (turn based travle/build/fight)

Try Steam clash, or casttle clash, there arent "Heroes III", but are adictive.
