After 1st boot, do a soft reset and then select carrier and hit the commit button. After carrier install, you will do another soft reset. Now you're ready to go.

Flash the all carrier one. Dont try to flash a GSM ROM to a CDMA Phone.
Is there any description of the screen below the messages image with the On Off, and other buttons as to what this is or what they do?
I tried the ROM today and got into there and I think I messed it up big time. On VZW and the MMS for landscape and couldn't get to a keyboard or area where the test was to be entered.
I am going to re-flash tonight and try one more day. It did seem pretty fast though from the time I spent using it today.
Is the keyboard on the screens, or is it missing due to something I changed?
After re-flashing, I verified that the keyboard is not corect for Verizon. I had to run the Keyboard fix
After using the newly installed software, without making any changes ,
most things seem to work pretty good.
There are a few issues I have found that are troubling. When looking at contacts sometimes, they lockup and I can't exit that screen.
The other issue that I have discovered is that the contact name does not show on the dialed entry if the phone number is manually dialed.
Maybe it's just me, but I can't figure out how to remove entries from the quick launch shortcuts on the main home screen.

If I install this ROM and at reboot, reset the device just after the complete screen, will the Touchflo files be skipped so I wind up with only the OS?
You could just remove TouchFlo.
So anyway I've used this for about 30 minutes...and I LOVE IT! its great...only issue right now is no registry program editor but other then that, GREAT...now to go install that and everything back on my phone!

If you want your theme extremely black try this tsk inplace of the default one in your rom. I'm currently using this tsk with NBD 8.1.

You can use smartskey to change the left button, I will upload a standard version without the Touchflo files.

Yes, you can and it uses the real TouchFlo.

Nice rom, how do you split the sms and mms so that making a new message won't take two extra steps. I do not use mms at all but I do receive mms messages.

I am new here and so if this is a dumb question, please forgive me. I just did a hard reset on my new sprint mogul and tried to install this rom. I can't get the past the 2nd screen because i get error 222: Device Not Responding.
I have checked and I am able to sync and open and copy files to my device so I don't know why the rom can't read my device. Any ideas / advice?

This would be spot-on as i love all the other touch features, but as i said the touch flo is a pain, if i was to put it in a kitchen and just remove the touchflo folder would this work

Hi Ted,
I am not familiar with the branding of Sprint. Are you sure the Sprint Mogul is the same as the Wizard?

The X-Button doesn't work. When I open a program or setting I cannot close it. It works fine with other ROMs. I really like this ROM. Hope I can find a fix.

Problems closing programs...other than that, VERY nice ROM, wizeman.
EDIT: It seems the closing program problem *may* have something to do with screen calibration (alignment)...because sometimes when I click "X" or "OK", the right softkey "button" is clicked. Not sure if this will help with a fix. I sure hope this can be resolved, as this ROM is the PERFECT fit for me.

It works on my locked G4. To get the nk.nbf file, you have to launch it so you get to the first screen, then use Windows to search for the file (make sure you search all folders + hidden files), it'll be the one in your TEMP folder (in a subfolder with RAR and some number). Then flash with ShellTools like normal.
And this is a GREAT rom. Very fast. I really like it.
edit: also, I couldn't find PIM Backup and had to download it....where did you put it?

It's in the Office Mobile folder.
i am having the same issue with my "x" button. Softkey is pressed sometimes instead of "X", like TomInMb described. I tried to run welcome.exe to align screen again, but same issue still.
Any fix for this yet?? Other than that, great rom, with lots of useful stuff, and not too much bloat-ware. Very speedy and responsive.

I did change PP to 8 mb, now is super fast, I'm using WP and try to eliminate weather icon using HTC Home Cust.and I can see the reg. changed to 5 icons but the Icon is still there, anyone else noticed that?

Also rams a tad higher just running coolcam used some lol
I noticed a reboot the ram is kinda low that's because of xbutton 2.0 let it stablize and you should get around 30mb ram free
Before flashing this rom I recommend two things:
Have a IPL and SPL higher then 2.0
Flash the officials rom then flash mine

Aw, I prefer xbutton 1.5 over xbutton 2.0 because it looks cleaner. Since you said there's not much change from your last version to this one, I'll stick with the last version until some major changes occur. Then, I will have to stick with xbutton 2.0 just because your roms are great.
Yes it is clean
I am using many ROM. Now I am trying your ROM. It is clean, the battery life, Memory are good. Wifi is connected to preferred network automatically, that's what I want. The Audio manager seem to have problem, I couldn't play my music until I reinstalled it.
Network Plugin, when I browsed the folder, I couldn't go back or go up. I got a connection erro " Cannot connect to current ...."
I like this ROM so far.
Sorry this will REALLY sound like a Noob question but.......I have a Wizard that I purchased in Europe and want to give it to a aunt in South America, will updating to this ROM and Radio work ? I'm pretty sure any rom here works for other places than North America. Not everyone on this forum resides in North America. I went to Vietnam for vacation a while back with a different WM6 rom and it worked fine (as long as everything is unlocked).

I noticed a reboot the ram is kinda low that's because of xbutton 2.0 let it stablize and you should get around 30mb ram free
Before flashing this rom I recommend two things:
Have a IPL and SPL higher then 2.0

Great rom...clean and fast, has all you need, and all you need is working great (so far)!! I was used to work with NBD roms, but since he seems to be gone, I had to move to TNT...but that's just full of crap and the essentials don't work. so now i love this antc 1.0!

Does this rom have IPSec support for wireless ?
Because every rom that I have used cannot actually connect to wireless networks with ipsec ... even if they connect they cannot download anything.

What is UI Tweaker and why is it included in the rom?
I have included UI Tweaker so you can further customize the user interface to match the CUSTEL theme for a greater experience. You can implement the CUSTEL Color Scheme by doing the following.
UITweaker ~> SysColorChanger ~> Tools ~> Import
Select the CUSTELColorScheme file located in the Color Schemes folder of my documents and reboot your device.

I have flashed this rom and it feels like flying running it - my TyTN II has never felt snappier and I have tried every rom released. But I don´t get the wifi fix to work, has installed it and did a reset and tried serveral times with no luck. Shall try to install a new comm manage as I don´t like this one - I like the ones with big buttons and more functions than six But this rom rocks as your Tytn roms did - thanks man!

Good to hear, thank you for your feedback on the bubble fix not working. I will look into a new fix, I apologize for the inconvenience.
One little bug - the sms and mms are splitted wich I love. But when in SMS and chossing NEW you still has to choose between new sms and new mms.
And when looking at the options for mms there are two versions of arcsoft depending in wich way you open the options for mms. In one place it is 4.2.8.1 and in the other 4.021.28
Duttu got the same bug in his earlier roms

I installed another Comm Manager but the bug is still ther so I use the old Wlan button fix with editing the register

custel you managed to make the ultimate fast rom
i replaced the com manager with the one with 10 buttons and the wifi bug it's now ok.
i've tryed a lot of settings and different customizations in tweaks but i have the same problem and i can't find where is coming from...
the screen freezes when the phone is in sleep mode...is working but the screen not responds...there is a black blank screen and only with soft reset is opening...
i tryed to find what is doing that but i couldn't....
just for you,to know,i use the same apps and excactly the same settings everywhere in any rom i test.and only in your rom this happeneds...
it's the best (and the more honest) way for me to test the roms between them..
your rom is realy fast and it's worth it (for me) to find the solution...

The reason I ask is because modifying system caches other than the glyphcache can cause stability issues. Which is why I only modify the glyphcache when cooking.

- To fix the keyboard not being configured properly, install Tilt Keyboard Fix then soft-reset
- To use MMS, follow these instructions (thanks sakajati!):

3. Install cingular_ppc_cert.cab
4. Install cing_mms_setting.cab
5. Install cing_connection_settings.cab

7. Soft-Reset
To fix the ClearType Issues (thanks the clueless!):
1. Open PHM Registry Editor from Start Menu > Programs > Tools, and make sure the following keys are correct:

Nice work, I was playing with the throttle roms, but I can't make myself like them. I think the main annoyance is the kaiser has a border on the screen and you can't easily select the very left or very right buttons. I assume the border is flush on the diamond / touch pro.

In my opinion, yes, but 3d tests will not be as smooth
I flashed the ROM last night, and it's pretty slick, very nicely done. Cleartype in landscape mode is totally messed up, however. I'm able to view text and type in landscape mode, but auto-completion just shows an empty box. (There are words in it, as you can see the highlight bar, but the text is invisible, highlighted or not.)
Additionally, if you're running a program, then switch the orientation from portrait to landscape, all text disappears.
(I know, it's a problem common to all WM6.1-based ROMs without special cooking, but in seeing the item, re: landscape fixed in Opera, as well as using the different driver, I was hoping that it was fixed.)

yes, in my next release I am going to remove opera (WAY too many bugs in every version I try) and include a .cab that will fix cleartype if you are willing to give up Direct 3d My next one will also be based on the latest diamond build
Anyone have stability problems with this ROM?
I really want to try it, sometimes I use my phone for work and I need stability.
