If I install this ROM and at reboot, reset the device just after the complete screen, will the Touchflo files be skipped so I wind up with only the OS?
You could just remove TouchFlo.
So anyway I've used this for about 30 minutes...and I LOVE IT! its great...only issue right now is no registry program editor but other then that, GREAT...now to go install that and everything back on my phone!

If you want your theme extremely black try this tsk inplace of the default one in your rom. I'm currently using this tsk with NBD 8.1.

You can use smartskey to change the left button, I will upload a standard version without the Touchflo files.

Yes, you can and it uses the real TouchFlo.

Nice rom, how do you split the sms and mms so that making a new message won't take two extra steps. I do not use mms at all but I do receive mms messages.

I am new here and so if this is a dumb question, please forgive me. I just did a hard reset on my new sprint mogul and tried to install this rom. I can't get the past the 2nd screen because i get error 222: Device Not Responding.
I have checked and I am able to sync and open and copy files to my device so I don't know why the rom can't read my device. Any ideas / advice?

This would be spot-on as i love all the other touch features, but as i said the touch flo is a pain, if i was to put it in a kitchen and just remove the touchflo folder would this work

Hi Ted,
I am not familiar with the branding of Sprint. Are you sure the Sprint Mogul is the same as the Wizard?

os version 1908 was a bit buggy last time i checked, lets see this one.

hard to hard reset twice
phone said clocknot.exe error then replog.exe error
So i did hard rest and it worked fine.
After 5 min or so phone completely locked up and hard to do another hard reset. I will keep you posted as this may just be a fluke.
One problem noticed
The Omap Clock Plus .ink file does not work.
When I goto to settings and click it a window opens up and says "can't load omapclock.ink
it box is all greyed out and the path is \winodws\startup
i checked the folder and the omap file is not in there.
How do I fix this or can I remove this program alltogether

Been running this ROM for a few hours now - so far so good. ActiveSync locked up once, but a soft reset fixed that. Otherwise, everything seems to be running smoothly. Very snappy response and stable!

This is a great cooked rom. Not ultra fast, but fast and STABLE
Batti Config crashed on me twice. No other issues from what I've seen and good gps lock with tt6.
The green coloring needs to grow on me a bit, though hehe.

thanks for the response mate
as far as speed, thats what im going to be focusing on my next hybrid release. as far as color, i plan on releasing a black variant later. oh, and im going to remove batticonfig as i cant get the oem package to work correctly, but ill put the cab up. look for v1.5 in the next few days addresing all these issues

Nice work, I was playing with the throttle roms, but I can't make myself like them. I think the main annoyance is the kaiser has a border on the screen and you can't easily select the very left or very right buttons. I assume the border is flush on the diamond / touch pro.

In my opinion, yes, but 3d tests will not be as smooth
I flashed the ROM last night, and it's pretty slick, very nicely done. Cleartype in landscape mode is totally messed up, however. I'm able to view text and type in landscape mode, but auto-completion just shows an empty box. (There are words in it, as you can see the highlight bar, but the text is invisible, highlighted or not.)
Additionally, if you're running a program, then switch the orientation from portrait to landscape, all text disappears.
(I know, it's a problem common to all WM6.1-based ROMs without special cooking, but in seeing the item, re: landscape fixed in Opera, as well as using the different driver, I was hoping that it was fixed.)

yes, in my next release I am going to remove opera (WAY too many bugs in every version I try) and include a .cab that will fix cleartype if you are willing to give up Direct 3d My next one will also be based on the latest diamond build
Anyone have stability problems with this ROM?
I really want to try it, sometimes I use my phone for work and I need stability.

Haven't had the opportunity to flash your rom yet, but just wanted to say that it looks great, and thank you for contributing to the forum. People like you make this a great place to spend our free time.

First off, I would like to say a big thank you to all of the people who have helped me out in my ROM cooking (you know who you are)!
Well, here's the scoop: First, my new puppy (a ****zu/toy poodle) chewed my cable up, so I couldn't flash ROMs (at least easily). The next week, I lost my device to freezing cold water (was bending over to put the cover on the pool for winter). Believe me or not, what I'm basically saying is that I have no device (temporarily). So, the following ROM has no screenshots, and I don't even know if it will boot or not. But, if you're up for it, here it is:

This is what I ask of you: since I don't have a device, if you find anything wrong, or have any suggestions to make, please post a reply stating them! Also, you should probably know that I ported the XIP and SYS from the Opal, so it might not boot at all. Please let me know if it doesnt! Also, if it does not boot, just enter bootloader (press the stylus into the reset hole while holding the camera button) and flash a different ROM.
Oh, one last thing: as you probably know, many people like to see screenshots (including myself ), so if it's not too much, could you post a few screenshots and I'll add them here.

nope flashing is the same as you are flashing a normal 6.1 rom..
he has just written it so that he is not blamed if yu brick your device

I cannot flash it, it stops at about 3 percent and says 'image file is corrupted'. I tried to download it again,but nothing changes
My current version is Rose 0.4 and have never had problems with flashing roms.

just a bit disappointing that the handy callingscreen with up-button = speakerphone etc is not present and there is nothing really new except ie6.
oh well it's ofcourse easy to add all kind-of oem packages and other stuff.

rename image to vox0img.nbh (like in wiki) - but card can't be HC, so take smalles card u have - and viola
