A2DP
is just one bluetooth profile
alot of people speak of handfree profile that they miss in the normal bluetooth stack
maybe that profile would add that option
why people would want poor quality mono sound in one ear puzzle me though

I don't think adding profiles automatically enables sound to be routed to bluetooth. I thought that the software must allow that too?
Anyway, heard the MS Voice Command is coming up with new version to allow voice recognition through handsfree profile. Don't know how true and how fast that will be.

well if the profile redirects all sound sendt to the speaker to the bluetooth line it would work just fine no software would ever notice that it was using a bluetooth headset insted of a speaker / mic in the device
some guys in blue angel made it work but so far ily with HP headset

this seems pretty interesting, replacing WAVEDEV.DLL by btceavif.dll
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev]
"Dll"="btceavif.dll"

Does this work for the Himalaya device installed with Widcomm stack?
I wonder if chaning to btceavif.dll does pipe sound and music to the BT headset. Anyone tried?
FYI - the registry hack is for mono ONLY. It works, but the sound quality is like AM radio - not very good.
but does this work on imate? qtek2020?, & which widcomm stack

i'd appreciate if someone can tell how to modify the registry or adding the a2dp profile. actually i'm new with these and would be delighted with any help...
blurrr
can i use my sonyericsson Hbh-60 to listen Mp3? MY xda2 is WM2003SE ROm 2.06 asia version....
Does anyone have a Bluetooth A2DP (audio profile) update for the i-mate jam? I would like to use HP Bluetooth headphones with my device, but the i-mate jam uses the Microsoft Bluetooth stack which does NOT support the A2DP profile. Thanks in advance...
Widcomm's drivers are not yet compitable with Magician.......
widcomm drivers for magician
anyone working on a port of the drivers? i understand there are already drivers available for the XDA II... it would be great to be able to use Bluetooth headphones with windows media player on the magician!
Hi,
I'm unsure on where to post this new topic. I would like to check if there is any possible ways to allow my BT headset to connect to my mini and then play the mp3. I believe a 3rd party program is needed.. Would be great if anyone can help here.. my bt headset is Motorola HS850.
there's no way to do that with the magician as far as i know due to the ms bluetooth stack
hi,
i have some problems in connecting leo with scala rider bluetooth headset (motobike helmet). mobile calling is possible, but the headset is only recognized as mono, not as stereo/audio headset as it should. the language of my installed tt doesn´t reach the headset. the same problem occured with my old touch till i installed bt audio software. does anyone have a solution for my problem? may the problem be wm6.5? hope my description is not too bad, my husband only "instructed" me, to open this thread. i´m german and not often involved in technical questions.

Are you sure that your bt helmet always use stereo mode? i ask that because my bt helmet use stereo mode only for music and not for telephone conversation.
i´ m able to make telephone calls, but the the voice from tt or mp3 can only be heared on leo directly - doesn`t reach the headset. the headset is recognized as hands-free connected on leo. do you also have the scala rider?

Hello,
I've used Bluetooth a2dp with a Hama Rx 2.(It's a Bluetooth a2dp receiver http://www.amazon.de/Hama-RX-Bluetoo.../dp/B000K9KQ8W) a long time with my Hermes. When upgrading to Win 6.5 and now with Leo (HD 2) i can't hear music anymore over a2dp. The device connects, it shows the Stereo audio Profile but i can't hear anything. With my Motorolla HT820 everything works perfect!!! Any Ideas? I've searched the forum, but didn't find a solution.
Update: Just tested with a touch pro 2 on Win Mob. 6.1 and works perfect??!! Must be something with 6.5 or Manilla.
