the newest version of super hero is now out it on leakdroid (http://www.leakdroid.com/news.php) thanks alot for all the devs who worked hard for bringing this to our phones

Has anyone tried this yet. I know it says sms and mms working but are we going to get all our sms.

Holy crap this ROM is the fastest Hero ROM I've ever used! Sucks that the flip clock doesn't work though, I think it's because weather doesn't work either.
Does anyone have the link to official XDA thread, I can only find the posts on leakdroid and they haven't even created an official thread over there either...

It doesn't say poop about Bluetooth... has anybody that has Bluetooth headphones tried this out?... :/

.cant add sound for sms (i got rings extended) and u gotta add sound for yo fone call by music
.there a little delay when u back from anything to homescreen, and a HTC logo apear then loading screen

It didn't work for me can someone help?
I wiped using JFv1.42 and I had his cupcake, then i installed the update.zip (v3 hero) and now it loads the G1 boot screen 2 times then goes into the recovery screen(like when you hold home + power)
This shouldn't happen, I wiped it, and then installed it.
Can someone please help?

Wallpapers worked on all the hero builds I have tried.

The Camera is acting retarted, it's fine when it's in landscape mode but it seems inverted when it's straight.

Well they didn't work for me on JACHero, jacHeroski and JacDrizzy's Hero only through Albums and not through Wallpaper Gallery.

Ok, you wanted new thread for Villain 5.0, so here it is.
This rom is based on SPRINT CDMA, so there may be some issues because of that.
It had a nasty issue while calling, it replaced "+" in the number with "001", this is fixed now thanks to LuffarJoh, thanks man!
I want to thank Nprussel for his great rom and Sanpei for his great kernel.

Live wallpapers (working in Launcher or Launcher 2, give it few seconds to load)
Got problem with live wallpapers now, the wallpaper changes after phone locks. Working on that.
The original rom is for USA only, so there is no extra languages (working on that one too)
you can try morelocale2 from market,
to change to celsius go to settings in weather,
to change to 24h clock, go to date & time settings.
On the first login to google it may happen that you cant type anything,
close the keyboard and open it again, that worked for me.
You know what to do... test and report

First boot take loooong time, if u are not sure if it lives, check adb logcat.
Ps. Do i need to say that this rom need time to settle?

Robocik use the same kernel
Kernel was created by Sanpei. He does not like to share His work. He did not open the kernel sources.
Programmers can not add amendments.

gallery rotate bug, is well known bug in all 2.1 roms... so when it starts to work, you will know it for sure.
morelocale works apparently better with some languages then with others...

atleast portuguese dont work...

I flashed the Rom but the things u said that were included like usbmount, etc can be no where to be found

Found one small graphical glitch. In People, Groups, click on any group. Contacts are display on top of a black background. As it should be white, we can't see contact's name.

Strange, i have installed the rom, turned off the network location, turned on gps, went to the window and maps found me in 30 sec.

It is also very speedy, and the launcher it uses is awesome!

This rom is beautiful,my fave so far,the only bad thing I have come across is when I try to change the drawer settings it sends my back to the main settings screen and asks me to enter my email address and password over and over.

you can just press 'back' or press 'home' rite?
that way u will avoid putting the password all over again

Or you can set up the device,download the mail and apps,afterwards you can set up the drawer without forcecloses or weird stuff.
And if it happens jusy press the home key,it is totally worth it.

Exactly. I am running this rom now, I have zero problems, and its fast. I personally love it.

Would it be possible to add the android letters after the mytouch 3g logo on start up?

The images in the file were to large for our phone, I just put the pretty android letters in there to replace them.

Ive been putting this theme together. I Saw a ported cyan theme and then Gomorrahs Black and Blue i really liked the blue from. Not too crazy like most things i put together. I was contemplating that myself. But i figured swype was better. I will find my favorite aosp kb and include it in an update.

this is sweet font! and i agree with the people up here the asop keyboard is on point man.. swype is cool and should be kept but options would be cool. Also..

Glad you like them. I actually made this one for the ppl here since mine are generally too crazy for most. Thats awesome, really glad you liked it. It means ALOT coming from you. I remember pm'ng you a long time ago (2-3 months)about oc for our heroes back when you were still trying to figure it out, when i really didnt even know exactly what a kernel was

Its there by default. Im sure you just tapped the home button on accident maybe being used to roms where its defaulted to sense. Mine is not defaulted intentionally because i switch back and fourth frequently. Just tap home and select sense. The other one has different options. Its a launcher2 variation called adw launcher. If you have any further problems just pm and we'll get you going.

anyone having a problem with the startup screen in a loop. I did a fresh flash and it stays on the screen with the guy stomping the other guy.

When you wipe go to options and fix uid mismatches, wipe data and dalvic as well. I flashed this rom 23 times yesturday after complete wipe and worked EVERY SINGLE TIME. I can GURANTEE its not the rom itself, unless you got a bad dl. Did you download directly to phone? DL it again and reflash and it should work just fine. Any further problems pm and ill get it going for you. GOOD LUCK​

Can someone tell me how to get the facebook pictures to come down in the contacts. When I click link to facebook, none of my contacts show up. I'm logged into it because friendstream is up and running.

I finally got some time today and loaded this bad boy up. I'm getting an error when I go to finalize my exchange account..."Failed to set up account. Please try again later". I've verified all info is correct. Any ideas???
Also....when the alarm goes off....there's no way to send it to snooze or turn it off. The ROM is awesome....looks good and runs great. The alarm and exchange are 2 things I definitely need though....thanks for your hard work.

EEK, ive no use for facebook so i have no way to test it other than make an account, so as soon as i have some time ill make one. Also, how long have you given it to complete this action?

I have no use for an exchange account either, You tried later correct? and if so was the issue resolved? I may have to set up an exchange account as well to check it out.
The alarm issue can be resolved. IT happens because i rm the lockscreen to use vanilla lock, and the alarm clock is inside it. Ill get a fix and pm you the link.

glad to hear it. Dont worry about the size. Its large cus of all the goodies, but the zipalign in the update script takes care of it. Initial boot takes a bit but thats it. My setcpu settings for awesome battery life are:

I used to prefer android kb perf. until i started using my android/swype hybrid
with haptic turned off. Performance is great.

Song has played 3 times. I assume that means boot loop. I guess i have to wipe ext? Coming from fresh toast.

Exchange
Every time I try to setup my Exchange account, I get past "verifying information" to the screen where you can check "Mail", "Contacts", and "Calendar". When I press "Finish Setup", I get an Error that states, "Failed to create the account. Please try again later."
I've never had this problem before.
Any suggestions?

This is DAMAGE framework. You have to wipe like i said in the op. otherwise you will waste alot of your own time. This rom takes a sec to get booted so you want to get it right the first time and be done with it....read ops more carefully please, for your own benefit.

I did wipe. I wiped all 5 options it gives.

What are you coming from?
Are you using app2sd?

1.root
2.recovery image
3.nandroid
4.follow ops carefully(nothing big)
[email protected] first boot, wait for the sprint logo and sig bars in stat bar before you proceed
6.use 1 oc widget at a time
7.make sure your phone can handle 768 if you plan on oc before using that speed, all others work flawlessly, some heroes cant handle the 768 though....
8.any further issues, pm and well get you up and running.
