How to remove windows live - Touch2 Themes and Apps

I downloaded the program "Bing" so I don't seem to need the program "Windows Live". How do I remove Windows Live?

You can not remove ANY program that came preinstalled in your Phone, since these are integrated with the OS. To remove windows live, you need to cook your own ROM and remove windows live while cooking it.
BTW does bing allow you to chat? Windows live is Live Messenger.

Thanks

maybe?
not one of those worked on my fuze.... really frustrating trying to get my hotmail email on my fuze.. you would think microsoft would make it easy for you to use MICROSOFT hotmail when using your MICROSOFT windows mobile phone...
This will probably not help you much but monx has included Live Messenger into ROMeOS².
Maybe he could provide you a working cab-file?!
HTH
f*ck it, i'm pissed, so i ended up making a gmail account, and just forwarding my hotmail to gmail. everybody's been telling me to do that for a while, this is what finally got me to do it cant believe how easy it was to set up a gmail account on the fuze!!

I had the same problem and used the same sollution ... just took a g-mail account to forward my e-mail to.
It is possible
Hi,
It is kind of a effort to get Windows Live Messenger to work on a Raphael without it being pre-installed. Trust me, I know. I went through the same pains as you guys did. Every cab file I downloaded just simply didn't work....
But I've found a solution, but it's kinda tedious to do it. And I can't really remember what I exactly did. In general this is the process:
1) Download a registry editor, for example Resco Explorer or PHM registry editor (google it)
2) Download the cab file for Windows Live (without messenger) from Microsoft.com
3) Download Windows Live Messenger 10.6.39.1300.cab. It floats somewhere on xda-developers
4) Pick up your old WM device with Windows Live pre-installed and also install a registry editor on it
5) Install the registry editor on your Raphael. After that install Windows Live with messenger. Don't start it!
6) On your desktop open the Windows Live cab (no messenger) from Microsoft with winrar (http://www.rarlabs.com) and extract the xml file located in it. Open this xml file with notepad
7) In this file scroll down until you see the registry edits it uses when installing. What you need to do is compare these to the ones in the registry of your Raphael. I can remember that a string named "Login" was missing from my Raphael, so I manually added it to the registry of my Raphael. But there are more that I can't remember.
8) Take your old phone and compare its registry entries for Windows Live Messenger to
the registry of your Raphael. Copy these over.
9) Start Windows Live every now and then to see if it works. When it doesn't compare the registry entries again and copy some over. Eventually it will work...
I told you it is a lengthy process, but eventually I got it to work...
I am no programmer so I don't know how to make a cab file for automatic addition of these entries. Please try it this way. When it doesn't work, I'll try to dig into my registry and post the entries here.

Weird... I can get my hotmail emails through the messaging, and i didn't have to do anything fancy....
I made a cab running for any TPhere the link:

It is the same posted in wiki
works great! thanx!
only windows live cab that worked on my fuze thanks

Windows Live Messenger 2009 MPOP

I downloaded the new WLM beta for my PC, mainly because I liked the sound of the MPOP (multiple points of presence) feature, allowing me to sign into my Windows Mobile device at the same time as my PC (i.e. it doesnt sign out of the PC, and i get the messages on both).
This would mean, I could use WLM on the PC, step away with my phone, answer some IMs, and come back to the PC without signing in and out, and losing track of a conversation, as well as my chat logs being complete.
Or so i thought, as signing into my mobile device still signs me out of WLM 2009 on the pc. Apparently both devices need to support MPOP.
According to WLM 2009 support page "If you sign in to a version of Messenger that doesn't support the multiple sign-in feature, you will automatically be signed out from the other devices."
But it also says "For example, if you're already signed in to Messenger on a computer, you can sign in on a mobile device or on another computer without having to sign out on the first computer"
So why do they say mobile device? Where do I get a version for my mobile device that supports this? Is my WLM mobile out of date?
Thanks
It´s the same for me, I don´t know if there is a version for Mobile devices that support this ultiple places
Hope someone can give us a clue
I hope Messenger for WinMo is updates soon to take advantage of this feature
>>"But it also says "For example, if you're already signed in to Messenger on a computer, you can sign in on a mobile device or on another computer without having to sign out on the first computer""
So, it basically says that you don`t have to sign out from computer (if you`re signed in) when you want to signing in from ppc. It doesn`t say anything about MPOP :/ Just that signing in is possible even if you are signed in on another computer when you sign in with ppc. lul, complicated. I hope wlm on winmo gets updated soon.
Yes, Microsoft will be releasing a new WL Messenger for Mobiles in next year... It will happen, just give it time as they need everything else in place first.
Hopefully the new WLM doesn't get treated like the new Pocket Internet Explorer (new WM6.5 ROMs only).
I sign into WLM on my mobile fine now without it signing out on my computer?
According to Paul Thurrott's site about windows:
The native Windows Live Messenger client on Windows Mobile supports the new Multiple Points of Presence (MPOP) functionality that allows you to be signed in to Messenger from multiple PCs, mobile devices, and Web sites.

Since i don't remember if it's possible to link other sites, just google the statement to find the full article (part 4).
I'm wondering which version he has of WLM... i'm really thinking of sending him a message to ask clarifications.
I have a version of WLM that is newer than the one posted in the big WLM thread on here. And I get signed out of WLM on the PC. I'd love to know what version he has, or why he said that.
The version of Windows Live messenger I am using is 10.6.0034.0800
On my desktop, I use the Windows Live messenger beta (can't tell you the number as I am not at home).
Signing into one does not sign me out of the other....

Wow r u kiddin? trying gettin 34.800 somewhere to check it out.
EDIT:
Installed 34.800. No way. Signs me out. Using latest RC on pc.
What I'm reading here is that you guys have logged in to Live on your PC with the new 2009 client and you can STILL log in on your mobiles - is that right? All I'm getting after having logged in once to the new client on my PC is the "problem with the server" message on my phone. I change the account back to an old one that has never logged in to the new PC client and I'm OK.
Is there a workaround or particular version that is working now on the phone?
Thanks
The only version of the desktop Windows Live Messenger that supports MPOP is the version that downloads to the Windows 7 beta. Version 16.something IIRC

Not true.. WL Messenger 2009 (version 14.0.x) does support MPOP.
The problems come with WL for Windows Mobile, which seems not to support MPOP Signing at all. It disconnects from everywhere when sign in on the phone.
EDIT: AFAIK there's no 16.x version specific for windows 7.
I have asked to Paul Thurott about WLM for mobile supporting MPOP and he has told me that new mobile phone will get the WLM with MPOP support.. but there will be nothing for old phones. We should find a cab of a version supporting MPOP.
It's the same about WebMessenger... which does not support MPOP .. but the new Windows Live WebMessenger should comes out soon !
i am sure a CAB version will appear shortly after relase. one good thing with so many carriers using winmo is that one is bound to leak it.
they also need to update Xbox NXE to support MPOP too

Syncing Office files on WMDevice Center

I'm running WinVista x64, which uses the Windows Mobile Device Center to manage syncing instead of ActiveSync. From reading on this forum, I understand that Office Mobile included on the AT&T Fuze is Office 2007, right? I'm using Office 2003 on my PC and I can't get the Word, Excel, or OneNote files to actually synchronize. I don't mean putting them on the device; I'd like to update one file on the Fuze and have the corresponding file on the PC updated next time I sync. Does Windows Mobile 6.1 and WMDevice Center really not support this functionality?! I can't figure out how to make this work. When I click on the "Files" and "manage settings" (or something like that) I get an unhandled exception error. Do I need to reinstall WMDevice Center on my PC? I also tried Documents to Go (3rd party software). I like their Word and Excel applications better than Office Mobile, but the Adobe Reader LE is better than PDF to Go. However, DocsToGo doesn't even support syncing documents on the Windows Mobile platform (or at least not with Vista and WMDevice Center).
Please help! I'm really floundering around here with this thing. There's so much to like about this phone (and so much that I do like about this phone) that I find it impossible to believe that I can't sync changes in a Word or Excel file with my phone and PC; something I've done on the PalmOS for years now!

Sync files OTA

Hi everyone,
Since two years, I use Windows Live Sync (formerly Windows Live Foldershare) to sync my files on my PCs. This service is really really good, and I was hoping MS will develop a Windows Mobile version, but it seems they just don't care. Live Mesh mobile client could be the solution to my problem, but it is just too buggy and the live team doesn't seem to really care about the mobile client...
So, I searched for this kind of tool but didn't find anything.
I'd like to know if you know an app that could be used to sync files on my PPC with a PC over-the-air, without having to plug my usb cable, just sync by internet.
Thanks.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=479842 ?
nope
"If you have any documents stored outside the My Documents folder on your phone, My Phone will not synchronize these documents."
It's not really the thing I search
