Slider updated for all tabs! Almost every icons were edited to be Hi-Res on the phone screen! They look on the screen as good as they look on the thumbnail! Weather back is black only in the thumbnail in order to see the clouds! Hope you enjoy please leave feedback!
This slider will modify the rearange icons also, except for Facebook and Call History.
Note: I don't have the e-book tab on my Rom so couldn't test those icons, if there is some misalignment please report and this is valid for other tabs too!

The transparent slider cab is ONLY for sliders who don't have icons in slider, just the background icon! Even for those who have sliders that are transparent but have the transition icons, must instal the NON transparent slider version! Otherwise original icons will remain in slider transitions! The same is valid for call history cab.

I didn't changed footprints because i think they look good as they are... regarding eReader, i don't know which are the manila files.

That is because i've maded only for transparent sliders, it only changes the slider background icon! I will release later a .cab for non transparent sliders! Sorry but my slider is transparent and i've completely forgotten that Give me half an hour...

That is strange i use energy rom too... but if you want the transparent version i can upload a zip with the files. If you copy them to windows folder instead of installing the cab that probably won't happen.
Looks really nice, if i was you i would do a test slider with all the icons unlike just having the twitter icon as the hero icon (big icon) only

This Slider is so nicely done, except for one little annoying thing.
The numbers (the date) on the calendar tab Icon are off by an inch.
This problem is on my phone and I noticed you have the same problem or at least, it is shown on the calendar tab screenshot you have posted in the first post.
Can it be fixed?

thanks, in about 2-3 hours the fix will be onlain the slider is only the begining, i'm working to get a full manila and windows android theme with dialer skin and all the minor thing

The reader icon has been also customised. I have used Malicious Icon as i find it nice, Thanks to him btw.
For document icon you will keep the original one as i find it nice too (obviously if you have the tab)

oups, i never saw this problem before.
Can you try the following, go to Settings/Home/Items and select Windows Default, ok
You will shift to Titanium, from here try to install the cab
Go back to Settings/Home/Items and select back HTC Sense.
Restart, and cross your fingers

I copied the content of the attached zip file in windows folder and now I have transparent slider.

It has always bugged me that the background image for the transitons while switching tabs, does not reach the bottom bar.
If you are using a no curtains cab, it's really noticable.
So I have prepared this cab to make the transition background, reach from the top taskbar, down to the bottom softkey bar.
3-26-10
Added New Transition Fix, Cab file.
Which now also patches the background transition in landscape mode and includes my stealth slider, with a 7 second timeout.
(4-2-10)
Added one with the retractable slider with 3 second timeout as well.
I have left the default retractable slider tab, that you have in landscape, as the skin.
This way you can install and uninstall other skins for it, without effecting the easy ability to remove this cab.

You do not have to install both cabs.
BUt it is mostly only noticable for those who have no curtains applied.
So I thought I would provide it as well, as I know some have chosen to not use the no curtains cabs, due to this reason.

It dosnt work on htc hd2, not at my atleast i tried the transparent (sorry for my english im swedish) and it jsut screewd it up, make all screen transparent and i could use some things, even in settings it was trasparent but i could use things there.

It does work on HD2. That is why I posted here in this forum.
However, it does require compatible versions of HTC Sense.
I have added a list of the known working versions, in the first post and thread title.
Not working for me. It doesn't reach the taskbar and softkey bar.

2. left aligned text matching the Metro guidelines by Microsoft

A word about requests and compatibility:
This lockscreen is provided "as it is". I made it for a stock ROM HTC HD2 (1.66) and it works fine for me. Feel free to modify it to your wishes but - if you do - give a small credit to this thread. There might be issues with custom ROMs and other devices - I can't change that - sorry.

Installation:
a) grab the cab attached below.
b) remove all other lockscreen mods than install my cab.
c) make your own picture with Photoshop or similar with the exact size of 119 x 119 pixel and save it as user.png
d) copy your "user.png" into the "lockscreen" folder in your windows directory on your device.
e) softreset

However when using a bright wallpaper, you can clearly see that the clock is cut off at the bottom.. hope you understand what I mean! Just try it out.

Of course, here is the result:
As you can see, there are only a slight cut off on the "0" on the clock now. However as I have marked, there are some cut offs at the calendar also.

So I decided to have a go at making all sliders Metro/WP7 style.
Maybe some people out there will appreciate this. I have also included my custom lock screen, which is just a modified version of the default Windows one.
All tabs have been modified as you can see from the screenshots.

Metro Slider Icons - This is just for the main Sense tabs; Home, Email, Contacts etc etc.
Metro System Sliders - This is for all other sliders; Contacts, Clock, Footprints, Twitter, Media etc.
Lock Screen - The lock Screen. All files needed are in the cab. Please make sure you have any other lock screens removed before you install this. You need the default lock screen on for this to work.
Transparent Bottom Curtain - Makes Sense bottom curtain transparent (does not effect other system sliders).
Metro Blue Slider - Metro Blue Slider as requested (both sense slider and other system sliders).
Metro Slider Icons +Transparent Curtain - Same as default one but with a transparent bottom curtain.
Restore Stock LockScreen - Restores stock LockScreen
Slider Fix - Fixes verticle lines on some roms on the slider.
This works on my 1.72 Stock Rom, haven't tested it on any others. - Also works on Stock 3.14 Rom

They LOOK fantastic I think I have just found my new Slider.
One small request could you make the slider bar transparent?

Two small rquests could you also make the selector box around the slider icons blue. RGB 0,158,255 fits with the metro theme.
I have attached Grabs to show something similar, tho this theme is no where as complete as your. and I managed to edit the slider to my taste, but I don't think I could complete a full theme yet.

hi, I tested the sliders and I report you some bugs:
-in almost all tabs I have the graphic bug you see in attached pic
-lack of new icons such as documents and programs tab
The tab is nice, hope theese bugs could be fixed and maybe get the slider bar transparent
I have attached 2 more cabs, 1 for transparency and another one for metro blue slider.

Thats a strange graphical bug, maybe the transparent bar will fix it?
If you can provide manila files of these missing tabs I can make update it to include those. I will also try and find these files on XDA, as I don't have those tabs myself.
I attach a Programs Tab standalone cab I found (disable sense-install,-soft reset-enable sense), if you need for tests.

Hope can help it, those tabs are both included in latest Artemis ROMs ,so I don't know if what I linked here works or is useful to you
EDIT: transparent cab does not work for me (manila 2.5.20) , could someone else report about this?
Fixed the transparency Cab, re-download and re-install. My bad on not converting the file to QTC.
Working on other tab icons.
Install this addon to see if those icons change now to suit. If they do I will then re-cab the complete file again.

What are you trying to edit and in what way doesn't it save right?

Ok, now the transparent cab works, I can see the new document tab icon when I am on another tab, but when I switch to the document one is displayed the stock icon
you're on the way , just another adjustment and will be perfect

trying to just save it as 480x640
but it wont save ..saves it as 480x800 still

Strange, it should work no problems, cant test it myself.
Open the CPR file in notepad and edit the first line of text to suit, then you MIGHT need to rename the file as well to LS_LockScene_480x640.cpr
Not enitely sure if that would work. Remember to reboot your device.

Can't say about programs tab cause I've not yet updated my ROM, so I have only documents tab at the moment, but if this work, it should also that one.
The slider looks great, nice work.
Now a question off topic: I'm using CHT 2.0 and like the metro look a lot.
I cant get the lockslider to look alike, can you help me?
