here is where i post taskbars/rosie edits/and soon full themes that i make you can also request theme here
do a nandroid backup before applying these
please tell me about any problems you run into so i can fix them

what rom are you running? it looks like AOSP 1.6 with rosie. or how did you get the app icons?

I would have started doing nav bars by themselves but started working on full themes.
Here's a quick sample. It'll prob be released with flipz's next kitchen, so all parts will be available seperately as well.

Thats beautiful widgets small home widget.

Yes its beautiful widgets small home. The icons was anotherr thread sorry. All u have to do is go to the market and buy bettercuts($1.99) then the android 2.0 icon pack(free). The bettercuts app lets u use whatever icon pack u want tio use its pretty cool!!
p.s. just type icons in search in the market there are TONS of different icons u can get BUT U HAVE TO get bettercuts to be able to change them. And it will only change the icons on the home screens not when u click all programs

I have attempted to flash both of these over fresh 1.1 through recovery as well as through fresh's pre-kitchen and I get stuck @ boot every time. Neither of them will take at all for me. Ideas?

same here, just never turned out right, some icons would change and some would not? it's cool ill play with it another time. i actually don't mind the default taskbar.

ive flashed this taskbar and for some reason my signal icon did not change. its still the standard bars with a black background. what gives?

It looks great, and I would love to install it, but I can't download it at work (file sharing sites are blocked). Can someone just attach the cab to a post in here please?

Okay, so I used my phone as a wifi router and downloaded it. Now I have a problem with the slider itself. None of the icons are aligned correctly. When I go to a tab, you can see the slider is an overlayed version of the tab image, but you can see them both and it looks ugly.

I have a fix for you, for that issue.
If you would like, I will PM it to you later today.
It is a transparent slider Mode9 fix for 2.5.2012.
Is that the manila version you are running?
Or do you need the fix for a different version of manila? Let me know Johnc, and I would be most happy to provide you with a fix.
It would be the least I can do, for all you have done for us.

Very nice brother!

New Hi-Res Custom Manila 2.5 Slider **Updated 4 all tabs!**

Slider updated for all tabs! Almost every icons were edited to be Hi-Res on the phone screen! They look on the screen as good as they look on the thumbnail! Weather back is black only in the thumbnail in order to see the clouds! Hope you enjoy please leave feedback!
This slider will modify the rearange icons also, except for Facebook and Call History.
Note: I don't have the e-book tab on my Rom so couldn't test those icons, if there is some misalignment please report and this is valid for other tabs too!
Uploaded cabs for call History only!
The transparent slider cab is ONLY for sliders who don't have icons in slider, just the background icon! Even for those who have sliders that are transparent but have the transition icons, must instal the NON transparent slider version! Otherwise original icons will remain in slider transitions! The same is valid for call history cab.
cab for NON transparent slider updated, problem with home tab slider icon solved! For those who have instaled this slider already, just install the Home_slide_icon_FIX.cab

I didn't changed footprints because i think they look good as they are... regarding eReader, i don't know which are the manila files.

The Slider looks very nice, but there seems to be a problem.. When the function is selected the icon in the slider seems to change back into the previous old one.

That is because i've maded only for transparent sliders, it only changes the slider background icon! I will release later a .cab for non transparent sliders! Sorry but my slider is transparent and i've completely forgotten that Give me half an hour...

That is strange i use energy rom too... but if you want the transparent version i can upload a zip with the files. If you copy them to windows folder instead of installing the cab that probably won't happen.

Looks really nice, if i was you i would do a test slider with all the icons unlike just having the twitter icon as the hero icon (big icon) only

What's new in this version
1. hardcoded background picture (the blue metro icons)
2. left aligned text matching the Metro guidelines by Microsoft

5. skinned notifications (except voicemail - I don't use/need that)
A word about requests and compatibility:
This lockscreen is provided "as it is". I made it for a stock ROM HTC HD2 (1.66) and it works fine for me. Feel free to modify it to your wishes but - if you do - give a small credit to this thread. There might be issues with custom ROMs and other devices - I can't change that - sorry.
What should I do if I find an error?
Just post your screenie and I'll see what I can do
Update 13.4.2010: new release as MyMetroLock
Update 13.4.2010, 15.07: fixed an error with userpic - please re-download cab!
Installation:
a) grab the cab attached below.
b) remove all other lockscreen mods than install my cab.
c) make your own picture with Photoshop or similar with the exact size of 119 x 119 pixel and save it as user.png
d) copy your "user.png" into the "lockscreen" folder in your windows directory on your device.
e) softreset
Have fun!

all versions now update with the new notification icons - see first post

I really like this lockscreen, it's so clean.
However when using a bright wallpaper, you can clearly see that the clock is cut off at the bottom.. hope you understand what I mean! Just try it out.
Also I wonder in this Link http://www.mobilitynews.net/?p=11018 , is all notification icons skinned in that version to?

ups will have a look into that issue.
the other lockscreen isn't updated - there are no skinned notification icons in that (old) version...

Of course, here is the result:
As you can see, there are only a slight cut off on the "0" on the clock now. However as I have marked, there are some cut offs at the calendar also.

next try - hopefully that works...

Fast answer: Only the "g" (Imorgon) is slightly cut off now, Everything else looks perfect.

CHT 2.0 WIDGET - Oxygene Analogue Clock

OK, so I am also running Android on my HD2 and have been knocked out by some of the layouts the guys in the Android threads have been coming up with. So I figured that now that Co0kie has opened up our home tabs to such amazingly versatile customisation it was about time that we brought some of that style to CHT! A couple of days ago I came across THIS on ClassicalGas's blog and just loved it so I thought I'd have a go at replicating the clock as a CHT widget, and here it is:

It is semi-transparent as you can see and works best on a black or dark background. The outer ring is the minute indicator, the inner the hours and the small dot the second hand. Again there is a widget specific font which in this instance is SonySketch which I found on dafont.com HERE.
The dock came from vide infra over in the Evo forum HERE which I edited, and the softkeys based on the periodic table are all mine. I have also made a partial set of CHT toggles to go with this theme too. If anyone wants the dock/icons/toggles just ask and I'll add them in here along with photoshop templates so you can extend the sets if you want to.

Dunc your stuff is amazing. Not only minimalistic and easy on the eye but also high quality if stretched to the max (for us perfectionists) I'd love your other designs like the toggles and more?

did you do the basic triage stuff - uninstall completely. reboot. reinstall?
if so then...dunc, could it be 3953C628_manila (well at least with Poyensa's typoclock this bg image randomly came on).

works great for me with energy (2019):
for those with troubles- try uninstalling. disable sense. reinstall. reboot. enable sense.

what energy rom? what manila are you using? (and you installed it while sense was disabled? i have had issues with things when sense is still on....)
