blackberry messenger - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

someone i know keeps telling me that his blackberry bold and bb messenger is the dogs nuts.
how can i install blackberry messenger on my hd2 so i can add him as friend etc... then he can see it works on hd2 not just his toy he found in a xmas cracker. lol

mmmm, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that's possible. BBM is only for bb users who have unique PINs. I don't think BBM will ever work on the hd2.

No BBM for WinMo

Can't.
BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is based on the unique PIN of each BlackBerry.
No PIN = no BBM.
There are rumors that Research in Motion (RIM), the makers of BlackBerry, have an internal MS Windows app for BBMing from their desktops. If it exists it hasn't leaked, and likely requires special account settings from RIM/BlackBerry on their proprietary closed commercial servers.
BBM is nice, and is the standard in corporate environments, but outside that you & your buddy will do just as well using Y! Messenger/MS Live Chat/ICQ/AOL Instant Messenger/Google Chat. All of these are available from RIM for their BlackBerrys and have corresponding clients on Windows Mobile.

BBM messenger Vs Windows Mobile Messenger
when i say windows mobile messenger i dnt mean windows live. there should have already been a program available for windows mobile like the BB messenger. we dnt need to talk to people on BBM just people with the software and blackberry being a smartphone as well as the windows mobile phones both BB and WM people can be able to use the software thus connecting to each other. heres my suggestion>>>>develop a program that can be used on BB and WM as well as other device, that generate an identity code Or pin that BB and WM people can excange with each other thus connecting to every body and BOOM BB WM messenger http://media.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

So, again, Blackberry messenger on TP2 (?)

Before anybody replies that I should be posting this question in a Blackberry forum, let me state that, as far as Blackberry users know (or care), RIM discontinued support on BB Connect, so us WM users are on our own (as usual).
I own a TP2 which is currently using Blackberry Connect with a Blackberry plan (inherited from my previous phone) with two e-mail accounts configured via BIS (not BES). E-mail push works just fine, as it would on any regular Blackberry device. Needless to say that the TP2 accquired a PIN# when it connected to the Blackberry e-mail service.
Now, if I have a BB plan and a PIN# what else do I need to get Blackberry messenger to work? Blackberry messenger is a Java application, so, in theory, it should be possible to run it (or an adapted version of it) on any WM device... Thoughts anyone? Maybe a Java programmer could enlighten us as to what is the missing piece and confirm if it is feasable at all.
Moved as not software release....

[Resolved] [Q] Why is WM so poorly supported by big names?

In my attempt to get the most out of my WM powered device (HD2) i could not help realizing that windows mobile is not among the targets of big software names like Yahoo, Skype, Fring, Google and what's more intereseting not even by Microsoft...
Take for exemple Google... it has it's Android... and the thing that it is best at is integrating anything google related into android phones: mail, calendar, contacts, photos, maps... you name it.... and they do this out of the box... and with the best user experience keeping the looks of the web based counterparts...
Yahoo and Skype... they both have IM clients for Android, Iphone, Symbian, Blackberry... but NOT windows mobile... WHY?...
Fring is perfect with anything but WM
Iphone and Android are so new on the market yet everybody supports it asap.
As for Microsoft you would've expected at least to integrate their own apps into windows phones... but they don't... They have the live app wich integrates messenger, contacts and mail... but not in the best way... I would've liked to see something to directly make a space entry from your phone's interface, to directly publish a photo or to send a file to skydrive... to have calendar synced at its full web potential... i know you have the exchange emulation like google but what about alternate calendars...
Bing is another thing... we have to install it your self instead of beeing fully integrated into your windows phone....
So the question is how come WM lost terrain being that it is the oldest on the market and has such a computing power in support of it (I guess we all agree that MS is a giant)?....
Karma is a ***** for MS
give a windows mobile 6.5 phone to a normal user.
let him use it for some weeks.
then give him an android phone and let him use that for some weeks too
look at the result.
now think if ur question was really that good

[Q] Where's Windows Live Messenger? ;o

Any Window Live Messenger apps for Android? WinMo has sweet a sweet official one that you can send voice clips, transfer files on and stuff like that.
Most of the 'MSN' 'Windows Live Messenger' apps I see looks like someone crayoned the design. It's that horrible ;o
Any official clients ?
the one i like the best in MSN talk
there is MSN talk free and MSN talk pro
I'll second MSN Talk, best client out there for android. Unless you prefer something that ebuddy that gives you access to AIM and whtnot as well.
