OCS Presenceinformation on Manilla homescreen - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Does anyone know how to get the OCS Presence on the hd2 homescreen?
I really dont like the Windows default homescreen, and I am hoping that someone knows how to do this
Thanks
Vern

Right,
Ive installed MTP install and got my plugin to work on a defferent tab on the slider bar (internet tab)
But what i'd really want to know, now that the plugin can be brought through to manila home tab, can I for instance add this plugin on my manila home tab say... under the appointment section? or in place of the next to the operators logo?
Please someone, I know youve got the skills...
Please see what I have and where I want it...
Highlighted in red ...
**EDIT**
Uploaded new pics thats probably more descvriptive

Manila Mods

As far as I know there aren't a lot lot raph's owner editing their manila to add a calendar, call history or comm manager tab. I bumped into all kinds of wall's when I tried to add an calendar tab. After a lot of searching and trying I can't get manila editor 2.0 to recognize the 26948339_manila file, It just doesn't see it for some reason. Anybody else tried and succeeded? Or to add other tabs? This could be the thread where different kinds of manila mods on raphael could be discussed. I'll posted it here when I have found a solution, cheers
These are some of the tabs, already in the diamond forum, Calendar, comm manager and Call history
Hi!
I currently have the calendar and commanager tabs working on my touch pro.
I took me some working to get them there, but i did it.
Try installing the theme posted on the link below, it has both tabs and is basically the original theme with the greens changed into blue (my creation).
You can apply the theme with Schap's Advanced Configuration Tool v 3.2.
Here you go: http://www.mediafire.com/?oxbz2eayvgu
Cheers and good luck.
Real nice thank you! Did you do this with manila editor? You mean to say open with TF3D config right? Either way can't seem to open it (i did use AC 3.2 and). Must be doing something wrong...
First, you got it right, I meant the Diamond TF3D Config instead of configurator, sorry for the mistake.
What version of the TF3D config are you using? I'm using 0.6.7 and i've just installed this very same theme after having changed to another one previously....
Where/how are you trying to install the theme? Are you going in the "appearence", selecting the directory where you placed the .theme file clicking on "path", selecting the theme it self on the drop down list, then clicking on "apply" and hitting "start"...
Maybe you missed some of these steps?
Anyways, take a further look and search into the diamond themes threads, you may find your way...
Cheers.
I would love a "tasks" tab...

Hey man thanks for replying did all that but it doesn't show, also have the latest version(apptodate), maybe it has thye wrong format. I'm on romeos. Here are some screenshot's. But could you also tell me how you edited these because I cannot get manila editor the read 26948339_manila. Anyway thans a lot , cheers
I'm out of ways to try to edit 26948339_manila (to add a calendar tab to manila), there is just no way this file is seen by manila editor 0.2. I'm using this on vista, maybe someone else has some info...
I have managed to install comm manager via this cab
Use a notepad like application (windows XP Notepad worked for me), not the manilla editor. Don't forget to change the file attributes to "writeable" (not read-only) prior to editing it.
Good luck.

Now my default theme. Thankyou. I was bored with the Vodafone one.
The call history page locks up each time I switch to it. Everything else works perfectly. What am I missing?
I succeeded in getting either a calendar tab or comm manager tab. Will attach the manila files, which are those created by D-MAN666 + 26948339_manila I edited (thanks cassiano)
Ok I succeeded in installing both of the tabs, with the above cab and these manila files (copy them to your windows folder with total commander). Something new has come up though, my home screen calander link became unresponsive (it doesn't link any more)

I had the same issue...and think it was because I loaded the Calendar tab first. Blob8Me has 14 tabs total with no issues, but went in a sequence that allowed it. I don't want to remove my calendar tab to install the call history tab first. Holding my ground with just 12 tabs.

Hi All...
Thought I'd add a coiple more Images as its been a few days since anyone posted here..... and I really do think this is a worthwhile thread
I'm still using the Diamond Forum for most developments as much of the work done there works for the Raphael seemlessly - not all, but most. The next major development I'm waiting for is the ability to apply the Home wall-paper to all Tabs in TF3D but this doesnt quite work yet although I made some small progress with mun_rus's work for the Sprint Diamond - see post #78 in link bellow!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432951&page=8
So - changes I've made since my last post here - I've added a sound settings tab - that gives me 14 active and useful tabs now I've added the analog clock to my home Tab - loosing the call history & appointment but I have the call history tab and still get my reminders for appointments. I've also added the VGA battery icon and tweaked the Titles on a couple of pages.
Current Tabs are:
Home - Of Course!
Speed Dial (People Tab)
Messages
Mail (Blackberry Connect & Emoze Free Push email client - www.emoze.com - both in use - very happy)
Jeff's Day (D-Man666's Calendar Tab)
Call History
Weather
Ohoto's & Videos
Music
Internet
Comm Manager (IDS_Communications Tab)
Settings
Programs
Sound Settings (Sound Tab)
A few (but not all) screenshots attached for info -those with the wallpaper as a background (weather, calendar) are as a result of woring on the background changer from mun_rus - please search this and the Diamond forum before asking for cabs, code etc.....
So - Lets see some more activity on the forum from Raphael users...... we do, after all have the best phone available in the world at the moment?

Yes, because the Call History and Calendar had the same number. Moved the Call History to page 11. Still locked when I went into the tab. Just uninstalled. I will install the Call History first after I install the Elite Rom (once released). Not sweating about it right now.
I was looking to reactivate the non responsive calendar link on the home screen but I suddenly got another tab added (the unresponsive link seems to be caused by mun_rus' Backgound Image on All Pages)
Right am just about to start to attempt some editting of manila files, what's the best programme to do this

To be honest (having done a lot of this) I find that the standard notebook app that comes with windows is fine for basic edits????
.
I installed the Calendar tab on my Touch Pro - everything is working except the month and days are displayed as IDS_CALENDAR_xxxxxxx (xxxx being the name of month/day).
Where is this filed substituted?
Nevermind, I got it - the zip did not include one important file. I got it from elswhere, now it works.

Top border in TF3D - removal?

Hi,
Sorry if this is a question that's been asked before but I can't seem to find it by searching.
I recently installed the mod that allows you to put your wallpaper on all the manila tabs (mUn BackGround4AllPages v.02.cab), but since doing it I've noticed that a border remains at the top of each tab and my wallpaper is cut-off by it.
On my home tab, it doesn't look too bad as the date is shown in this border. Similarly in the music tab it looks kind of intentional as the shuffle and repeat icons are in there. But it looks awful on most other tabs - screenshots below!
Is this to do with the wallpaper mod I installed, or is there something else I can do to extend my wallpaper into this border?
Thanks!!
There's a cab floating around called nocurtains.cab.
You might want to try that.
I haven't tried it but it seems to do what you are looking for.
thanks! "curtains" was the phrase i needed in order to search

Hi...
Just a quick question...
are u using a theme or do you have TouchPRO Vodafone TF3D...
and if so what version TF3D do you have? (Settings Tab->about.....)
Yes I'm using Vodafone TF3D - not sure where in the about list I can see the TF3D version, butmy ROM version is 1.90.161.5 if that helps.

ok... do you know where I can download that ROM?
(or the TF3D manila files)
It's not in the about list... it's on the button (that changes colour when u press it)
I think there is a download for the TF3D scheme halfway down this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2687462
I downloaded it today as a restorable backup in case I decide to change my theme - but I haven't tried it yet. Let me know what it's like if you decide to try it No idea if the Vodafone Rom is available yet though ...

I think that's the old Vodafone TF3D from Diamond...
I found a Vodafone Raphael 1.90.161.5 ROM here...
http://rapidshare.com/files/147978863/vodafone.rar.html
btw.. you don't have to have a backup manilas to go back to original...
just delete all manila files from windows... (if u have TF3D in the ROM!)
and the original will be there (can't delete ROM files...)
Ok cool thanks. I know next to nothing about themes and editing for TF3D but I'm going to be doing lots of reading up!
If I was a bit more savvy I'd be glad to help you getting the Vodafone TF3D for you but I have no idea where to even start! If I have any luck I'll certainly post here

Call history tab ?

Hi, does someone know how to add the call history tab in manilla ?
I used it with my old D1 and wanted to have it on y d2
Thx
Stdu
I don't see anything for it in the registry anywhere. I myself would like to add the google maps tab but it is not in the software. I do not know where to find it. You would have to loadt the files in yourself unless someone has a cab already made.
IDK. I'm just a newb.
??? I Don't understand why you need a special Tab?
The call history is accessible on the home page of manilla just under the time!!!
because it is much easier to have it in a tab. i miss that too
Yes I found that when Icon in the tab easy that in the home (maybe depend of the background color used).
I tried by copying the 2 manilla png but doing this the SMS icon in the tab disapear so I thing there is something else to do on the D2.

[REQ] Manila 2.1 start menu and/or program tab for HD2

Hey guys,
I was wondering, is there anyone who would be able to look into porting the Manila 2.1 start menu/program tab or both over to Manila 2.5?
I have seem something similar done for the VGA port of Manila 2.5 here (the files are attached at the bottom).
There is also an interesting comment about said tab here
Is there anyone would could maybe try to get this program tab for work for WVGA Manila 2.5?
And also maybe get the start menu working?
Hope someone can do it
Any of the geniuses on here keen to give it a shot? ^^
I had the same problem and was finding it difficult to get easy acess to all my programs without the programs tab, plus i do not like my home screen cluttered. I installed a program called Panoramic Launchpad and it is brilliant. When installed, it launches itself from the topbar start menu and gives you loads of options to configure it how you want it, and since going to the settings tab takes you to the original installed start menu icons, then you have not lost or compromised any of you functionality. grat progam and cheap too

I did see that program yes. It looks nice, but I thought it might be worth a shot to see if anyone here could have a go at getting the Manila 2.1 menu to work on Manila 2.5.
There are a lot of people around with coding/hacking skills to possibly get this to work I feel. I doubt it would be THAT hard to do (sadly, I can't do it, as I can't program at all, more of a hardware person).
Given the program a try. Seems to be ok. But I must admit, the Manila 2.1 start menu/program tab, whatever works, would be a lot better I think.
wm start menu simply sucks, I hate it! i hope somebody can cook the old manila 2.1 start menu.

Manila 2.5.1922XXXX Requests

I am running Dutty Holy Grail v0.5 and it has Manila 2.5.1922XXXX on it.
I have installed Max Manila Ultimate v2.9 with the patches and I have some requests, maybe Im not able to figure it out... :
1) I want to have transparencies in the calendar, the clock/weather background, the slider tab and for the taskbar and the softkey bar... (I dont want to use HDWall since the patch for 1922 for HDWall isnt 100% reliable yet, and in any case, it gives me less flexibility of changing the wallpaper)
2) I would like to have Manila as landscape. I know this version supports it... but the cab I have found to enable landscape messes with the album and music tabs. I know there is a version out there, that works fine, but I cant seem to find it
3) I would like to integrate the Manila Alarm screen with SPB Time or other apps, I know that 12aon had a hack for it, but I dont think it works on this version of Manila
Thanks for your help
NoOne?
SO no one has any thoughts on this.... I know there are people who are developing for 1922... just wanted to get an idea... even if u want to echo the same requests...
There is now a 100% working HDWall patch for 1922 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=529730
Thanks for the link... ill check it out to make sure it works... although I have close to a 100 wallpapers that i cycle throuhg, dont know if ill be able to make HDWalls out of all of em...
Any other ideas on the transparencies?
