Top border in TF3D - removal?

Hi,
Sorry if this is a question that's been asked before but I can't seem to find it by searching.
I recently installed the mod that allows you to put your wallpaper on all the manila tabs (mUn BackGround4AllPages v.02.cab), but since doing it I've noticed that a border remains at the top of each tab and my wallpaper is cut-off by it.
On my home tab, it doesn't look too bad as the date is shown in this border. Similarly in the music tab it looks kind of intentional as the shuffle and repeat icons are in there. But it looks awful on most other tabs - screenshots below!
Is this to do with the wallpaper mod I installed, or is there something else I can do to extend my wallpaper into this border?

There's a cab floating around called nocurtains.cab.
You might want to try that.
I haven't tried it but it seems to do what you are looking for.

are u using a theme or do you have TouchPRO Vodafone TF3D...
and if so what version TF3D do you have? (Settings Tab->about.....)

Yes I'm using Vodafone TF3D - not sure where in the about list I can see the TF3D version, butmy ROM version is 1.90.161.5 if that helps.

It's not in the about list... it's on the button (that changes colour when u press it)

I think there is a download for the TF3D scheme halfway down this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2687462
I downloaded it today as a restorable backup in case I decide to change my theme - but I haven't tried it yet. Let me know what it's like if you decide to try it No idea if the Vodafone Rom is available yet though ...

I think that's the old Vodafone TF3D from Diamond...
I found a Vodafone Raphael 1.90.161.5 ROM here...

btw.. you don't have to have a backup manilas to go back to original...
just delete all manila files from windows... (if u have TF3D in the ROM!)
and the original will be there (can't delete ROM files...)

Ok cool thanks. I know next to nothing about themes and editing for TF3D but I'm going to be doing lots of reading up!
If I was a bit more savvy I'd be glad to help you getting the Vodafone TF3D for you but I have no idea where to even start! If I have any luck I'll certainly post here

oh... no it's ok... I have already extracted TF3D from the ROM... so it's ok

My Newest Sense 2.5 Theme: HTC Inspired

He is my latest manila 2.5 theme. Hope you guys enjoy! Just install the theme cab file and then the clock cab file. Hope you enjoy.
P.S i didnt create a stocks or footprint icon because I dont use those tabs.
Having trouble attaching theme file so i made a rapidshare link for the file. Only 10 downloads allowed so if anyone can attach it here it would great.

Thanks alot for those that use max manila I also attached a cab file for matching notification icons.

Sorry to be a dunce, but I can't get this working on my Topaz. I installed the cabs, but nothing. It's not showing up on the settings screen as a theme, so I'm stumped. I'm running the official HTC 6.5 ROM at the moment.

Its for Manila 2.5, I'm pretty sure the official 6.5 only has 6.1, so it will not work.

On another note: What build of manila are you using? Not the version, but the build

iam using the 2.5.1921 version but ive also tested it on the latest energy roms with the latest manila.

Thanks for your quick and helpful reply. Now all I need to do is to work out how to upgrade to 2.5, can I do this without flashing a completely new ROM?

EDIT: I can see now that I need to flash a ROM that already has 2.5 in it. Any suggestions? The last time I flashed a new ROM, I had to go back to the official 6.5 because my GPS went mad. It was showing that I was about 400km away from where I actually was, at 15,000m altitude, travelling at around 400km/h.

If you want to change from Manila 2.1 to 2.5 you have to flash another rom...
You can start reading the stickys in the Rom Development section.

Thank you! Any slider is better than the awful (IMHO) original sense 2.5, but this one is really cool and finally woking in my ROM! (with sense 2.5.19211619.0). Is there a way to get the original black-on-white clock?
EDIT: I just noticed that my bottom bar is not like the one in the screenshot, no big deal, since the slider was my main concern.Anyway I'd like to have it aswell, so any help is welcome.

iam working on some new slider designs because i definitely agree, they are a bit bland. as to the theme that i have in that pic iam using ahens black theme. you can find in the windows theme sections.

i've downloaded and installed the theme but nothing has changed..how do I have to do? I've manila 2.5.. txs

I absolutely love the clock here, but lately it's gotten thrown out of alignment. I'm not sure exactly what's doing it, but I suspect that it's Max Manila. I'm using the latest Energy ROM.
It seems that the clock background gets elongated, which throws everything below it out of alignment; the weather text appears in between the clock background and the split backgrounds for the weather stuff, and then the split backgrounds end up being behind the Calendar header (date and alarm status).
Any chance you might revisit the clock? I really haven't found any other clock that I like as much as this one, and I've tried I should also note that I haven't had any alignment issues with any other clock that I've tried, although most of them have just been solid (no transparent gaps).

Depends on what you are running on your phone.
Your question is very vague. If you have the shortcut boxes there you just click the empty box and it pulls up a list.

Like I said, your question was too vague.
I am running WM 6.5 w/TF3D and have 20 shortcuts there.
I suggest you search for maxcy's Manila themes and get familiar with the different options available so you know what you are asking for.
Shortcut on Home screen depend on the build# of your Manila.
Read lots, the possibilities are endless.

Yes you have touchflo3d but in the 2.1 version of manila.
If you want to have shortcuts in the home page you must change to a rom with manila 2.5

Go to Settings tab\About Phone\Software Info.
You are likely going to want to flash a custom ROM, assuming you're on the stock one still (If you gave as much info up front as possible before asking, there would be no need to assume).
You really need to start reading about flashing a new ROM.
There are no shortcuts so please read thoroughly.

well yes first its in russian , second in land scape mode its all gibberish .. the screen become out of place the icons are over each other. also when u change the clock the weather animation covers the analog clock a lil from bottom. also the left key name is wrong and when u pull up the shortcuts they mix with small clock overlapping text. ive used td2 tool 2c for landscape mod.

Nice but needs to be improved
Programm looks nice although I would rather have 9 icons (3x3).
It is in Russian language, to bad at least English isn't standard.
Hope it will be in English and with less icons soon!

Manila .1922 Mods and Tweaks

Im going to try and start a thread for collecting some mods and tweaks for Manila .1922 and above since it seems like a lot of tweaks that were collected for Sense 2.5 before actually break under .1922 and in some instances also crash Manila somteims requireing a hard reset.
Here is what i've found so far :
Max Ultimate Theme - This is a great utility for applying a bunch of popular tweaks all at once as part of a theme, has a settings panel to do on the fly customizations... very useful!
There are separate weaks available for BG4All and for the quicklinks, but since Max Ultimate covers most of them.... theres no need for that.
There is however a need for transparencies, such as bottom slider, top curtain, top bar, softkey bar, calendar, etc. These customizations are not applied with max Ultimate and its hard to find ones for .1922 or which ones will work with tha manila version. Changing the cloks is also not clear, you can try MaxTTM but some of the components work with .1922 and most of them dont.
HDWall is also a great utility to play around with some transparenices but does not seem to have a .1922 patch yet.
If you come across your .1922 tweaks, please post them here.

I know I miss using HDwall...I love windows 6.5.5 and 1922.....sometimes i want to go back...but I wont hope a patch is made soon. Doesnt seem like anyone is even working on it

Regarding HD WALL & Cookies HQWallpaper Patch

I installed the cab to make taskbar and the very bottom bar transparent, but now it wont let me change my wallpaper, it is just black?!? when i try to remove the patch from the applications settings, it says it is not fully removed... help guys!?!

First: Did you install the HQ wallpaper patch for the right manila version?
2nd: Install and than uninstall patch again.
3rd: After install HD Wallpaper cab do a softreset.
Do you have Cookies Home Tab and Cookies Home Tab Editor?
It is the best to use that to.

there are differents between the manila versions 1921, 1922, 1923, 2011 and 2012.
And what ROMS you are using? WM6.5 or WM6.5.x?

I've got WM 6.5 with manila 1921.
Im pretty sure I installed the right version. (1920 version was cleared for 1921)

okay it should be the right version. I never used it without cookies hometab.
Did you try it with cookies?
It runs always perfect for me at wm6.5 and 6.5.x too.

i think you should give cookies a try. so we can see does it works only with cookies or not. After that we can look how we get it works without cookies.

I do have the same problem, I tried several Roms on my HD Touch pro 2 and 9 times out of 10 (even when using the right combi of HQ Wallpaper Patch and Manila I only see the wallpaper on the top and bottom bar. Last time I flashed a Rom that did not have Cookies and that seem to work 99% only when turning the phone landscape you would see the landscape background but on the top you would see a small bar from the portrait picture. The problem is that I do like Cookies home Tab because I want to change the clock to a compact one to see the background but somehow, it seems that the combi cookies and HDWALL doesn't work. I do have to say that on my old Blackstone I never had any problems so could it be the Touch Pro 2.

Do you use Cookies Home Tab 1.8.5?
When not u have to look that the High Qallity Wallpaper patch is the rigth for your manila version.
When using Cookies Home Tab 1.8.5 you dont need the High Qallity wallpaper patch.
EXAMPLE: Your manila verison is 2.5.2015xxxx
you have to look for the patch for these version!
Your manila version you can see as follow:
Go to: Settings---->About Phone--->Software information---->Manila Version!
