I've seen some videos of the wp7 running on the hd2, and I thought how wp7-ish would wm 6.5 look if all apps and dialog windows would have a black background with white letters on it? Is there a theme out there that does this? If not, any of the graphical guru's out here can do such a theme?

Point Ui is nice, it's free and is almost as good as SPB Mobile shell. I have tried both on my Hermes and Wizard, personally, I like the Slider that comes with GnatGoSplat's WM6.1 cooked ROM much better. If I was using 3.7 or Nitro's rom, I would change too Point UI.

by the way, im using this cab that allows to have same wallpaper on all tabs. n now im having difficulty viewing some fonts eg. white n grey fonts
any idea how to change the font colors?
in the bar how u have that icons like battery,BT, etc etc? u have WM6.5 or is a mod.?

Man thats a cool wallpaper,may I ask you a question? When you click the Volume icon or the Battery icon in the Taskbar does it show the details of volume or battery? If I click those icons only one thing is coming out,that is-'Notifications' and under that 'No new notifications'. This should be a bug. If you any solves then please let me know. Thanks.

I am using SPB mobile shell 3 here. It's not free though. But you may find it for, ummm, free.... But I will not provide links to warez.
You can download it on a 15 day trial though.
You can try MAX TF theme creator for the font colors. Worked for me recently on 6.1 pro. There may be other ways, but I already was using MAX TF, so it was a simple mod.

Thanks for the compliments on the wall. It was very simple to make using CS4.
The battery and such do not show the status. Only notifications, like you are getting. The reason is: I used a taskbar for an HD, and they are slightly different. Not really a bug.... just a different manila. I will try and create some mods exclusively from td2 files so they will work correctly, although I don't care for the volume and such being interactive in the taskbar, but I will check it out when I get a chance unless I flash to 6.5. Still debating on it.

what do you mean "the way the start button is"? where it's located or how it looks?

he probally wants the same thing as i do. the old style windows mobile 5/6/6.1 start menu in 6.5

QuickMenu is similar to the old WM Start Menu, but much better. I used it in 6.0, 6.1, and still in 6.5.

It is not possible. Use a 6.5 ROM and not a 6.5.1 one.
yeah, sorry, it's not possible. just use a 6.1 ROM or learn to live with the honeycomb interface
or use quickmenu
But Cotulla somehow added old style Start menu to his 6.5 ROM for XDA Flame.
What's worse is the Honeycomb lay out makes you think miliseconds longer before picking the app.
But maybe you get used to this illogical lay that isn't used in other interfaces.
I don't know who is Microsoft's in house Psycologist, but they need to start looking for a new one.
Just because you don't want people saying that it looks to much like the iPhone doesn't make it a good idea.
We where not taught to read that way, it is illogical and a bad idea.
You got till Windows Mobile 7.0 to fix this bed=fore i take you serious, Microsoft.
As for the actual issue/question at hand.
Try looking for folderview.exe , that might still work on 6.5 and gives you the three column old fashioned look.
You could even link to it using Quickmenu.

how would one go about getting windows mobile 6.5.x on their handsets?? was there an update that i missed out on?? haha
hey in order to do that u will need to change ur rom to a cooked rom the down side is all the apps that came shipped u will loose unless u goto the first post to download the few they hav availible try energy rom u may like it smooth and fast good luck
