Green Volume Control bar in music player - Touch Diamond2, Pure Themes and Apps

Hi,
first a few general things about me, my name is Dirk and i'm from germany.
I'm new in this scene and i want to costumise my diamond 2.
I've used the comecs V5 Rom, it had a green volume control bar in music player.
The new V6 version use an ugly grey control bar.
Is it possible to put this green bar in the V6 of comec's ?
He hasn't a solution yet so I ask here if someone else could help me
Hope you can understand this text, if not tell me, I try to explain.

Maybe some dll from the touchflo ?

i understand your question. but i am still looking for the solution

Did you try Volumex? (http://volumex.jdbp.mobi)

taskbar and volume control
your issue is related to volume control package. perhaps your rom cooker have updated this package or have change is taskbar to a custom one witch cause a incompatibility with volume control.dll.
In both case your rom cooker can fix this issue. U must contact him and tell him about it

Pocket CM Theme Help

I have a few questions but this one is the most important for now.
Is there a way to change the height of the images to the bottom of the screen. as in the one of SMS, Phone, Fav., etc. I want to change the height in the settings.ini file but cant find where the setting is.
Also is there a way to have variable heights as in when i press a image i use a completely different pic like a hat when not pressed then a rabbits head out the hat when pressed?
Any help will help..
Thanks in advanced..
I'd suggest looking at the PocketCM forums for this...
http://pocketcm.com/phorum/
i tried but.. there are many who make themes here.. i am sure someone must know what command is used to control the image height of the press buttons on the bottom of PCM..
I found what I was looking for and it worked out perfect ;-)
thanks..

[REQ] Music Apps Volume Control Everywhere?

When in a music/video application and you press the volume button, you are greeted with a smaller much prettier version of a volume control, that also increases/decreases less per volume button press.
Is it possible to make this control work all the time?
i like that pop-up!
Related to the above; has any1 found out wtf happens between it beeing volume control and it beeing prev/next song? it seems to randomly happen, and i keep having to 'reboot' my hd2 to get normal volume in the music tab again, way annoying.
Before some1 asks me what cabs i installed (since the above happens after some installs, at least thats what i read on these forums) i experienced it maybe 5 minutes after unboxing my new phone, so before i modified anything.
Any help/idea/pointing-to-topic appreciated
I used to have that problem, not had it in 1.61 though
I have 1.43, dunno how to change roms, and kinda 'playing on safe' since i had to pay 'way to much' (€250+) for this phone to break it already
Do feel free to point me to rom topics though cant hurt to look, but id most like to just have some installer exe from htc, so i can blame them if it breaks hehe

Sounds like they fixed it! Let's hope that is the case!
lol, I was playing it safe as well. Then just though ah feck it.
Iv just had a look in the registry, I can see which bit makes it pop up in certain applications. So I think i know how I could make it work in other applications of your choice, but I dont know about everwhere.
I search for that too and found a registry entry too that seems to activate that in other application but it doesnt work.
Its possible to add them manually.
HKLM\Software\HTC\VolumeOverlay\InhouseAPClass there add a key with any name and in this key u create a string value "ClassName" with the correct class name as value (I find them with BsB Tweaks).
HKLM\Software\HTC\VolumeOverlay\InhouseEnable2ndUI there add a key with the class name and in there a string value with the name Enable2ndOverlay and the value 1.
e.g. Resco Explorer:
"HKLM\Software\HTC\VolumeOverlay\InhouseAPClass\XYZ\ClassName" with the value "RESCO_EXPLORER_CLASS"
and
"HKLM\Software\HTC\VolumeOverlay\InhouseEnable2ndUI\RESCO_EXPLORER_CLASS\Enable2ndOverlay" with the value "1"
Yes but no landscape support for this function..(only on tab music and some video app that rely on the class-->FullScreenPlayer)..any solution?
Works perfect for me, but maybe if u set the Enable2ndOverlay to 2 instead of 1 it will work, cause the AlbumPlayer also use the 2.
But I really dunno how to set the VolumeOverlay in the ConfettiLockScreen (the ClassName of the LockScreen). An alternative would be to set the volume steps to 1/15 like in the overlay.
Any progress on this front? =) I would love to use the volume as it uses in music tab all over my phone!

add the desired player to rotation with bsb tweaks 1.6 and when tilted the volume overlay is tilted as whell.

[Q] Changing the taskbar icons in 6.5.5

now before you ignore the thread thinking i didn't have half a mind to simple use search or try my hand at editing the shellres.dll- read on..
while cooking for my qvga htc p3400 (old gene) i decided i wanted to include the Android Taskbar v2.0 for 6.5.x from here and the SDK Volume Control 2_2_19171325_WAlien which i got from here as EXT packages in my rom...
now the problem is that if i place the taskbar package before the volume control package then i get the volume control UI that is intended but instead of having the icon for the sound option from the android version i get the windows symbol...
if i reverse their positions with the taskbar package coming after the volume control package then i get the the taskbar icon to show up correctly as seen in the taskbar's thread mentioned above but the volume control UI is lost somewhere...and i get the default windows volume control layout...
i checked out the .dlls and the .mui included in the volume control package that affected the taskbar icon selection from the taskbar package...but all the bitmaps and icons were in proper order...
what am i missing?? do i have to just fiddle with the registry entries in the volume control package?? (i've attached the app.reg file from that package if that is the case)
oh...and a less critical bug...i've also included the swype keyboard and it seems to only work in my lite roms...loaded roms don't seem to allow swype to start up but still show it in the SIP selection list...could there be any package affecting the keyboard's deployment and operation that you guys know of??
hopefully someone out there can help me out...
P.S. you guys are doing an awesome job with this site...i went from being totally clueless to being totally amazed (but still a lil' clueless) by how much i'm in love with my phone in a couple of weeks here and i can proudly say that i suffer from a very serious case of ORD...cheers!!
doesn't anyone have any idea what it could be??
it's ok if you're just spit-balling and taking shots in the dark...just gimme some sort of suggestion i can use...anything...
i've tried different versions of volume control, edited the dlls and searched through the mui...now i don't know what else to try...
please do post the first thing that pops up into your head, no matter how absurd it may be...
the stupid glitch is holding up my rom release...
c'mon people!!
an updatee
the problem's still unsolved so i kept at it and noticed a little difference in the versions of the HTCVolumeControl.dll files from the taskbar and the sdk package
the taskbar's dll has-
file versions:2.2.2012.1229
product version:2.1.2012.1229
while the sdk package has-
file version:2.1.1917.1325
product version:2.1.1927.1325
just some extra information i thought i'd post up...
and if anyone has the sdk package with the 2.1.2012.1229 version, do post it up...i'd like to check if its the incompatibility that's causing the problem...

Separate audible selection and music volume on 2.2

Hi there
As I mentioned in the title I want to separate the volume of the audible selection and the music ecause it doesnt make sense in my opinion.
I found out that this is caused by:
Code:
android.media.AudioManager.playSoundEffect(int effectType);
android.media.AudioManager.playSoundEffect(int effectType, float volume);
android.media.AudioService.playSoundEffect(int effectType);
android.media.AudioService.playSoundEffect(int effectType, float volume);
Just look at grepcode...
I don't know what to do now.
I know what I have to change, BUT I don't know how to insert this into the rom I'm using. I neither know which files to replace nor what to compile.
Would be nice if someone could help.
I did read much about the issue audible selection and music volume being tied.
So I think it would be nice if someone could make a fix for it to seperate it and make it affected by another volume control.
Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany
Rom I'm using: #devoid.franco
Phone: LG P500
Android version: 2.2
Thank you guys
None knows?

[Q] Changing softkey colours?

Hey guys, ive done some searching around for an answer to this, but cant find an answer related specifically to the Note 10.1.
Thought I should ask some expert advice before I mess up my tablet!
I just want to change the colour of my softkeys/status bar icons, from white to blue. I was going to use darkmans BlueDark theme, which is mostly freat, but unfortunatrly it will only work if I let it add a data signal icon to my bar (im on an 8010 so thats not ideal).
It also changes the discrete little multi-window menu arrow, to a huge blue tab thing, which I dont like. (An alternative solution is a way to edit this big tab out of the theme? Maybe I should ask darkman)
I just want to change the status softkeys (keyboard minimise, back, home, task manager, screenshot, multiwindow) colours/icons.
Only decent guide I found was this:
http://www.droid-life.com/2012/01/0...s-soft-keys-to-customized-colors-or-versions/
But its for the nexus phone, with some different icons, so wasnt sure if it was the way to go..
Im on an 8010, with revolutionHD 8.0 ROM.
Thanks for any help you can give
