Sprint apps for Verizon?

(I wasnt sure where to post this)
I know most of you probably arent NASCAR fans but there are probably a few of you who are anyway I was wondering if there is a way to get the sprint NASCAR app on my Verizon HTC Eris 2.1 OTA
I have tried downloading the app from sprint and installing it on my phone but it hangs on the loading screen... Any ideas would be appreciated!!

Sprint NFL Live

Tried searching this forum for an answer but couldn't really find it so if someone could help me out. I want to get the Sprint NFL Live application on my Hero which is running CM6.1. Can I just download the apk from somewhere and then install it or do I need to do something more than that?

Perhaps you're thinking of Sprint FOOTBALL Live. It is was Sprint now uses since the NFL Live went to Verizon.

Is it possible to edit the sys files of a custom rom with sprint sys files?

It's not going to work because of differences in the bands of the network. That's also why we can't run the Evo 3D on Verizon

He said that it would not work because of "differences in the bands of the network" which is not true as everything between both networks is the same excluding WiMax & LTE

Thank you was able to get my issue resolved without having to make any changes to rom/sys files

They are are both CDMA. Everything except 4G would work. First smartphone I ever owned was a Sprint Touch Pro that I flashed to work with Verizon.

Care to share on how this was accomplished

Here is the site I used to get my Sprint Touch Pro onto Verizon: http://sites.google.com/site/ppcgee.../sprint-touch-pro-on-verizon-network-tutorial Even though it was made for a Windows Mobile phone it should be easily adapted for android. As far as I know QPST should work with android. For getting your MSL a quick search on Google turned up this: http://androidforums.com/samsung-moment/14852-getting-your-msl-without-calling-sprint.html You will also need the DMU keys, Verizon's most current PRL, and possible a rom modified for Verizon.

Verizon xoom with a sprint rom?

HEY GUYS,
I just picked up a XOOM off of Craigslist. But when I got it, I realized it was Verizon Xoom. Which is fine cause I only plan to use it via WiFi. But I'm trying use Qik to video chat other Sprint friends and it wont connect.
So I was wondering if there was a way to root and load a Sprint rom which will work on the Xoom? Also, has the update been released that enables the Memory card port?

No to the sprint rom. You and your friends need to get tango. Or they need to get vtok (while you can use google talk). If you guys want to video chat. 3.2 has microSD support.

Yes, Xoom can be rooted. Look in the dev section. However, the VZW 3g model has not had 3.2 release yet.
