Lock symbol on lockscreen - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

As the title says, I wonder if there are any cab file out there wich places a small lock symbol in the Sense homescreen, so you don't need to press the hardware end-call button to lock and turn the screen off.
In older WM, you have this as an option on the home screen ( I now that you can get this option on the Leo if you turn sense off, but I want this option when running Sense).
Of course, the title is wrong I se, LOL. It should say Lock symbol on HOMEscreen

I guess there is no cab for this...

hello,
this is what you looking for!
you have to go Start/Tools/Standby
have fun

How do I add a shortcut to "Device lock" to my Today screen

I am running Tomal's Rom and I need to add a shorcut to the "front page" (the screen where you see the time the missed calls, battery ram rom flash and so on.
Basically I need to be able to lock the screen with one touch.
I can activate it on the "Today" list but that adds an annoying scroll bar to the right of the screen.
Any ideas ?
Thank you
1000QA.
PS: BTW what do I have to do to be able to turn the display on with one touch of the screen (let's say the screen turned off to save power). The Backlight settings seem to be ignored by the PDA. I mean if I check the optin "Turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen taped" it is not working

I need help

2 quick questions, they might be something simple sorry but I dont know how to get this to work.
1) How do you unlock your phone without the stylus? I know if you hold the end call key for 3 secs it locks it but I want to unlock the phone without the stylus. I hate ejecting it so the power goes on and then I can slide my finger on the "Lock Icon" left or right to unlock the phone.
2) How do you change the "Lock" Icon mapping? By that I mean its located at the top and I would like to move it to the bottom or middle. Once somehow automatically it was located in the middle and then I rebooted my phone and it went back to the top again.
I don't understand question 1 are you saying you take the styles out to turn the phone on? why don't you use the power button at the top? Then use your finger when it turns on to unlock it. I will admit i don't use the lock fetcher
But i think i understand the second question to move it to the bottom, go to start/setting/today/Items this will have a list of "icons" you have on the main screen select the Device Lock and move it to the bottom of the list. this should move it to the bottom and you are done.
1) you can unlock your phone without pulling your stylus out. press the power button to turn the screen on and then press unlock on the bottom left softkey followed by the confirmation on the center right side of the screen.
on the otherhand what you're asking for is called S2U (slide to unlock) which is an app the mimicks the iphone's lock interface
2) what mapping are you talking about? on the tf3d where the app tab is at? if so, then you just move it by using diamond tf3d tweak OR manually deleting the app and relocating it to where you want it.
Cool thanks for the help on question 1 I didnt know that.
For question 2 the same thing, do you know when the phone is locked and you have that icon that you have to slide left or right so that you can access the main menu on your phone (has the time, contacts, view messages, email etc.). That little bar that reads slide and has a padlock icon in the middle of it. That little button I want to reallign it in the screen. It happened once but I didnt press or change anything for it to happen, it just did.
Bump .

Fuze Touchflo/Landscape Problem

I have an unlocked Fuze using T-mobile. Upgraded to new HTC ROM 5.11.502.2 WWE. Bypassed AT&T bloat, reloaded all themes/fonts/icons/apps. Now when I slide out to use the hard keyboard and the screen goes to landscape, there are white blocks where the icons should be and also lower menu bar. Still can access programs if you know what you're touching. Then upon closing keyboard screen freezes on landscape, then when it returns to portrait the white blocks/missing icons from the landscape mode are still there. Pressing "home" gets no reaction, but once the device goes to sleep and you wake it up, TF3D today home screen is normal and all functions.
I am noob-ish, and don't have a screen shot app, but will find one if necessary.
Thanks!

[Q] S2U2 (remap of lock button in start menu)

Hi guys,
I really tried to find it out on my own first, but it seems that Im not skilled enough to do that.
After installation of S2U2 everything is working flawlessly. After some (set) period of time, s2u2 will lock screen correctly. Even power button will lock device using s2u2 application. But that damn "lock" button in startmenu will lock screen with classic WM lockscreen. I know it is not some bug and its normal, but question is:
1. Is there any way how to remap even lock button to s2u2 application?
2. Or, is there any way how to disable this button and make it invisible?
Solution for first one would be awesome.
Thank you!
EDIT: Sorry for my bad english language.
Same here
+1 for this idea. I have the same problem, really annoying. After I've installed the" move slider to bottom" .cab and shortly after uninstalling this .cab I found out that the original default slider had been disabled and some kind of cheap unlock-button has came in place of the original slider. I couldn't get this original slider to work again so I've installed S2U2. But after installation and configuration of S2U2 I've noticed that the original slider also is active. In other words the S2U2 app is working perfectly, but is working simultaneously with the standard onlock button. (#@^%^$%)
How can I turn this off?!?
(edit: now the unlock button appears randomly and not every time I unlock the phone with S2U2. But it' s still annoying enough to want to have it disabled.) Anyone?

Well, its little different issue than I have in my mind, but it was same on my device. I have found solution for your issue in S2U2 FAQs:
Q. How to disable the WM6.5 built-in lock?
A. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4996782&postcount=2961
First install cab from that link and then install S2U2. Issue with double lockscreen (first s2u2 and after unlock present second standard WM locksreen) should dissapear.
BUT, if you click on "Lock" button in startmenu. Device will be locked with standard WM locksreen not S2u2.
NOTE That phone power button and time-lock are working with S2U2 perfectly... I just want to remap event this button for S2U2.
I'm looking exactly for the same functionnality!
Good idea
Anybody got a trick to map or hide this "unlock" button?
+1 i like this function too

the new version of s2u2, 2.30, does that for you, remaps the lock button inside the start menu to s2u2.

Blank lock screen/missing unlock icon

I have HTC Sense disabled on my Today screen so it looks like a basic today screen. When I lock the phone, it shows the sliding unlock icon. When I slide to unlock I need to enter my PIN to use the phone (forced due to work email security). Sometimes when I turn the phone back on after the screen has turned off due to inactivity, the screen is blank (the sliding unlock icon isn't visible). The only things I can see are the top row (clock, speaker icon, signal/data icon, battery remaining icon, QuickMenu icon, and Start button). None of the items in the top row respond except for QuickMenu, but nothing in there functions since it is still locked. I end up having to soft reset the phone. I am using the most current stock ROM WM6.5.
Anyone seen such a problem or know how to fix it? Is there a program like QuickMenu that has an "unlock" link in the menus? I wonder if that could be a workaround. Thanks.
