I need help - Touch Pro, Fuze General

2 quick questions, they might be something simple sorry but I dont know how to get this to work.
1) How do you unlock your phone without the stylus? I know if you hold the end call key for 3 secs it locks it but I want to unlock the phone without the stylus. I hate ejecting it so the power goes on and then I can slide my finger on the "Lock Icon" left or right to unlock the phone.
2) How do you change the "Lock" Icon mapping? By that I mean its located at the top and I would like to move it to the bottom or middle. Once somehow automatically it was located in the middle and then I rebooted my phone and it went back to the top again.

I don't understand question 1 are you saying you take the styles out to turn the phone on? why don't you use the power button at the top? Then use your finger when it turns on to unlock it. I will admit i don't use the lock fetcher
But i think i understand the second question to move it to the bottom, go to start/setting/today/Items this will have a list of "icons" you have on the main screen select the Device Lock and move it to the bottom of the list. this should move it to the bottom and you are done.

1) you can unlock your phone without pulling your stylus out. press the power button to turn the screen on and then press unlock on the bottom left softkey followed by the confirmation on the center right side of the screen.
on the otherhand what you're asking for is called S2U (slide to unlock) which is an app the mimicks the iphone's lock interface
2) what mapping are you talking about? on the tf3d where the app tab is at? if so, then you just move it by using diamond tf3d tweak OR manually deleting the app and relocating it to where you want it.

Cool thanks for the help on question 1 I didnt know that.
For question 2 the same thing, do you know when the phone is locked and you have that icon that you have to slide left or right so that you can access the main menu on your phone (has the time, contacts, view messages, email etc.). That little bar that reads slide and has a padlock icon in the middle of it. That little button I want to reallign it in the screen. It happened once but I didnt press or change anything for it to happen, it just did.

Slide to Lock

is there a program out there that can slide to lock a phone? scenario:
i want to change my screen settings to almost the max so while im surfing the net and get pulled away from my phone for a few seconds the screen doesnt darken and fall asleep on me. BUT if i do that, then when i get off a call and put the phone in the case i run the risk of buttons accidentally getting pressed. so i want the option to slide to lock when i want. i dont think slide to unlock gives you that option.
What's wrong with just pressing the power button?
I use S2U2, set to lock when I press it - works perfectly.

Try ultimate launch. I have it set to use the gesture of a downward swipe to lock my phone. You can use it on all the sides of the cube or just one. I have it set to just the home side

Power off software option

When you press the Start key there is an option in the bottom left hand corner to lock the screen, I was wondering if it would be possible to have in the opposite right hand corner the option to shutdown?
I know you can install various cab to have a shutdown link on the home screen or even in the start menu, but it would look nice to have it opposite the lock screen key.

How to set default home panel

I removed some of the panels from the touchwiz and now my home panel has changed. I.e pressing the home button takes me to the wrong panel.
Can idea how it can be changed back? I have a total of 5 panels now and the center panel should be the home.
I have the same problem. I hope somebody has a fix for that
remove other panels on one side and add them on the opposite side, that's what I had to do once.... just make sure to do it as many screens over you are from your ideal homepage
I posted this question on another forum and no one knows a way to specifically pick your home screen. But after some testing one poster did figure this out. If you have anywhere from 1-3 screens the "home key" screen will be the screen to the far right. If you have 4-7 screens it will be the 4th screen from the left. Odd I know but true. So the only way to have your "home key" Screen to be the middle screen is to have 7 screens which is what I now have.. 4 of which I am not even using. I am hoping this gets changed in an update so that you can actually select which screen you want to be your home screen.
You can easily move the panels around when you go to edit them. An option to quickly pick the home screen would be cool.
Here is what I do:
1. Menu , Edit.
2. Remove panels I do not want by pressing the red minus button.
3. Menu, Save
4. Press the home button. Make a mental note of which panel I was taken to.
5. Menu , Edit
6. Find the panel that I want to be my home screen, drag down then to the right of the panel that is the current home screen. *It will not always be to the right, position depends on the number of panels.
7. Menu, Save.
That's it.

Wow, LauncherPro just keeps sounding better and better.

Any good alternatives to using the power button to lock device?

I find this phone great, the only thing that is bugging me is the position of the power button. It's so far up the right hand side I find it a pain to reach to (I always hold phone in my left hand). I would lock my old phone by using a gesture through Nova Launcher, but (I think because of a newer Android version) it is no longer possible to do that properly. It can only be done so that the phone is "Admin locked" and requires the pin to unlock (not face/fingerprint), or to turn the display black until it times out (which is supposed to be for 5 seconds but for some reason it takes the full normal timeout of 1 min).
Does anyone know of a way to lock the phone properly using anything other than the power button? (without root)
I know LG seem against remapping the assistant button, but one great option they could have would be to be able to swap round the power and assistant buttons
Not the right thread to ask in but you can turn on KnockON in General settings and thereafter double tapping on the notification bar will lock your phone.
Thanks for the tip.
Apologies for posting in the wrong place, I meant to do it in Q&A, somehow I messed up :/
Mods please feel free to delete/move this topic
You can also double tap any open space on the home screen to lock the phone. Same with the lock screen. Double tapping anywhere while display is off wakes it.

[FRP] Android 5.1 FRP Vulnerability I Found

[FRP] Android 5.1 FRP Vulnerability I Found
I just found this UI bug/vuln when freestyling trying ways to bypass FRP on an old HTC Desire 626 here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-626/general/frp-htc-desire-626-verizon-prepaid-t3942397
It would be great to see others give it a run for it's money on their 5.1 devices so we can know how widespread this is and what else it will work on. It's old yes but I haven't seen anyone come across it yet.
Whats Needed:
-Tiny bit of time
-Quick Fingers
NOTE-> If going through [Recent Apps] -> *Settings* -> *Screen Pinning* does not allow you to backup into settings.. Then select the other option *Running Apps* and backup into settings using it. Reason i say this is because I have found if i do not go in the order i describe below then backing up into settings from after screen pinning it won't backup into settings unless i select *Running Apps* and go back from there.
Enable accessibility by holding 2 fingers on the homescreen, when enabled, draw an L shape starting at the top of the screen. At the top right you will see a half circle that says [Talkback Settings]. Press this and then follow through to the Talkback Settings. Using two fingers touch the screen and move up with your fingers to scroll the screen now scroll down until you see *Talkback suspend and resume* and enable this. Make a backwards L swipe. Swipe out from the right far over to the left side almost to the edge then up to the top. Make sure you swipe the line over for the bottom of the L shape almost over to the other side of the screen before you draw up with it. You might have to do it a few times and play around with your starting point up and down the right side of the screen and over in the middle close to the edge of the screen where you go back up the screen. You will get it eventually. Now press both volume buttons to disable Talkback. You should now be in Recent Apps and at the top right will be 3 dots. Select these and press [Settings] and enable *Screen Pinning* then press back until you get into Settings then go down to [Backup and Reset] and click on this then [Reset Phone].. Now here is where it gets fun! We are going to quickly bypass Android 5.1's protection disabling the ability to press the *OK* button you see at the bottom. You are going to want to go back a screen to start. Next press on [Reset Phone] and now with your right thumb quickly hit OK and as soon as you do this you will see where the box pops up and know where the OK button on it is. So position your right thumb or w/e finger you can press with quickly over the area where the *OK* would be or remember the spot and go back a screen and repeat the process. Eventually because of doing this the system will slow down some and the box will stay longer so you've more time to click *OK*. You will see it works if you do it quick enough.
Bingo. Done. Phone will restart completely reset and you have now bypassed FRP.
Please post your results and let us all know if it worked on your device!
