Thanks Michel the frenchy
Yep, thats a known problem. The remove function of sense wont work with 10-16. You have to manually delete them with a registry editor:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila\Home
There youll find folders for all your quicklinks starting from 0 to 15. To delete a shortcut go into the desired folder (0 is the first quick link on the top left) and set all strings to nothing (empty them) and all DWord values to 0.
You can delete one of the first shortcuts in sense and take a look at the values yourself when this slot is empty. Just in case you are not sure how to set those values.
thanks for your help
not easy but it is THE solution !
no boby have a cab for a 16 shorcuts or an update for this one ?
Thanks
i have found an other solution
Look on this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609065&highlight=call+history+home

Set "alarm" to right softkey

Hi guys, i'd realy like to know which path leads to the "alarm" menu (the right slider in the clock menu, which you can access through tipping on the clock on homescreen (manila 2.1, wm 6.5).
I need the filepath, to set it up on the right softkey on manila homescreen.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks...
Sascha
P.S.: I don't need instructions how to edit the softkeys, i know how to proceed in the registry.

\Windows\Clock.exe will get you to the same screen as when you click on the clock but not sure how to default to Alarm tab.
All right, thanks so far for this hint, but it actually gets me to the "windows" clock settings - due to the nice look of manila / sense / tf3d (whatever), i would prefere to get to the manila style clock settings (alarm settings).
Anybody else an idea?

I don't think it can be done because manila uses a series of Mode9 files for one CPL, so there are multiple files for that function.
Another option would be an external program like G-Alarm.
Okay... that's why nowhere else on the net I found an answer...
Thank you though...
Feature Settings
If it's a *.cpl file it's accessible! See my post and within it several links to more information about accessing Feature Settings via *.LNK files...
In the xda wiki there's a link for the Windows Alarms.

It just needs some more investigation <g>

As Sascha stated, "i would prefere to get to the manila style clock settings (alarm settings)." not the windows CPL, which as I stated can be achieved by linking to Clock.exe
You can't link the Manila Alarm UI to a softkey.
Nice tutorial though.

Menu show IDS_EDIT.... instead of correct names after change manila file

Sorry if i'm not in the right thread.
After changing "17956b33_manila" (with totalcmd) to show another date format, all the menu names for CHT (1.7.1.1) have disappeared and now they show IDS_CHT_EDITOR, IDS_EDIT_QUICK_LINKS, etc....
There is probably a way to revert but I don't know how (I'm not a pro).
Thanks for help (and sorry for this awful english of mine.
Except this CHTE is absolutely fabulous and works perfectly with my HD2 !
Read the FAQ again.

Same thread and reiterated again by co0kie post #4136
Instruction is to re-install CHT 1.7.1 not CHT Editor.
Ok sorry I didn't find it. I post my reply over there.
This thread should probably be closed

HDWall issue

I am attempting to use HDWall to skin my background for starviews fallout theme, but after I install the cab, it only skins the top and bottom bar. I have tried installing and uninstalling countless times, as one thread suggested, and I have installed and uninstalled the HQ wallpaper patch, and both times, no luck. Please help.
I have searched now for 3 days, and posted in two forums asking, and I see I'm not the only one having this issue.

It looks like that you not use Cookies Home Tab.
When not using Cookies Home tab you need to install the High quality wallpaper patch. But this Patch must fit to your manila version.
Which manila version is yours you can see as follow:
slide to Seetings--->about phone--->Software information.
Cookies Home Tab can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633590
The patch can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=529730
The best way is to use Cookies Home Tab 1.8.5 because you dont need the wallpaper patch!
I have cookies home tab, so it isn't that.my manilla is 2.5.2012 I can put a accredit up if that helps?
Figured out the issue, so for everyone else having this problem, cookies newest home tab has hd wall and the patches already included. if you download those two AFTER you already have cookies, it will mess it up.so, what I did was uninstall the patch and hdwall and then cookies.reinstall cookies then download your hdwall cab.
This is what i have wrote in my post.

Quicklinks

as you can see from the attached i have THREE quicklink pages but if you look at the upper right hand corner it states that these THREE pages of links are on the same PAGE.
CHT 2.0 is cooked into the ROM so can I re-install Cookie and would that solve the problem. OR do some kind soul have the Quicklink Manila file so i can start again.
thanks in advance

to me it looks rather like the page indicator is broken, not sure, but CHTEditor probably has an option to turn it off, if so try to switch it off and on, maybe it'll work (sorry, unable to check as my device is temporarily down)
also check chte-quicklink-independent page OFF
