for some not particularly thoughtful reason, when in calendar, you can scroll a month ahead or a month back in "month" mode, you can scroll a day ahead or a day behind in "day" mode, but in agenda mode - you can only see your appointments for the week.
let's say someone says they want to have lunch with you next week. you should be able to scroll forward to see if you have any appointments, not have to go day by day in "day" mode. similarly, if you need to check to see if you had lunch with someone a week ago, it's impossible except by looking day by day.

I find some alatm/clock but it is so complicate with many options or they dont have option that I need.
Alarm/reminder need to be simple and have options to repeat alarm (yearly,month,weekly...), and auto repeat alert when is not see and off alarm.
And need to have list of all appointments.
thanks.
ptravelalarm is the one i've been using for a few years now
Moved as not software release.
I just want a reminder thing that actually reminds me. Any suggestions? The installed calendar fails miserably in this respect. I added Calendar Event to the phone, and that doesn't fit the bill either. I downloaded COL reminder, but it seems I need to load them all into the program, instead of it reading my calendar reminders. My WM6.1 phone did just fine with this; add an appointment or reminder, even make it repeat every other day, and it actually reminded me! At the selected time! Even Palm had this figured out.
I have tried setting different ring tones, setting it to vibrate all the time, setting test reminders between 2-30 minutes from when I type in the reminder. No consistent success. I have a cyclic reminder set for 0755 every morning to show me a Bible verse. I get pretty task saturated by then, so it's a good opportunity to stop and breathe. However, I don't see the reminder until hours later, usually when a second reminder for the day has popped up. What gives? Has anyone tried Nudnik?
Annoying isn't it? It's another one of those things that any Nokia brick from ten years ago did better. Makes you wonder if we're going forward or backwards.
isn't android already have an alarm in the clock application??
Hi. I've tried looking everywhere to find the answer and I've no luck at all. I'm trying set my start day of the calendar app on the Gear S2 to start on Sunday. Right now, the first day of the week from left to right is SSMTWTF and I want it to show SMTWTFS. I've seen images online that shows it starting from Sunday and not Saturday. Please help. Thanks.
I think this just changed with one of the recent updates. I seem to remember it being Sun-Sat previously. I've looked for a way to change it in settings, but no luck. Hopefully, they'll correct it in the next update, or give us an option to change it!
Hi, owned my Gear S3 for about 5 months now and it is awesome.
Just one issue though;
I have Outlook installed on my phone for work purposes and meeting reminders come up on the watch, usually 15 minutes before the meeting (obviously to give me time to prepare / get to the meeting room etc), which is great, but even if I dismiss it and clear all notifications from the watch, it still comes up every single minute. So that's 15 reminders before the meeting, which is becoming very irritating.
The only way to get rid of it, is to select "Open on phone", which works, but then my phone screen is on and whilst it is in my pocket (as I am driving a lot), becomes very hot!
If I dismiss it from my phone, then it's fine, but very often I am out and about in my car so the phone cannot be used.
Is there anyone else who has this and has a potential workaround?
Many thanks in advance
Mark
Hi Mark,
I have the same issue using a Redmi 4x and a Gear S3 watch. Its very annoying and I have not found a workaround yet.
However, when I get the Outlook notification on my watch, I click the 3 dots on the right hand side of its screen and select the trash can. This deletes the Outlook notification and the phone stops nagging every minute.
Hope this works for you.

Hi... I think this is an Outlook app issue and not a watch issue. I have had the same issue with a Garmin as well as a Huawei and now the S3.
I've noticed that, when I pick reminders on some programs, sometimes it chooses 2 options. So check your reminder and make sure you only have 15 mins selected. Maybe it's firing off on some button you missed when you set it up. Since I retired I don't use Outlook at all so I'm not that familiar anymore.
Hi all, I've just upgraded from a Oneplus 8 pro to the S22 ultra, and happy with everything apart from the fact that calendar reminder notifications now disappear once the event has ended. So if I have a ckaednsr event from 8 to 8:30, and a reminder set to go off 15 mins before, the reminder will pop up as planned, but will disappear after 8:30.
That's a problem for me and I often have multiple reminder and don't get a chance to check them until later when I'm catching up on some events, except now the reminders are gone.
I never had this issue before with mostly oneplus phones for several years.
I'm using the Business Calendar app (now called PractiCal Schedule Planner. I thought maybe it's an app issue, but from searching online it seems this behaviour is now standard? Anything I can do to ensure the reminder notifications stay visible until I dismiss them?
Cheers
I have no idea how to fix it, but if you figure something out please reply here so I can get notified. I'm running into the same issue and it drives me crazy.
Haven't found a solution unfortunately, and a bit surprised that it doesn't seem to be an issue for many. Suggestions range from using a reminder app, or tasks, trying to use another calendar app and muting the stock app (didn't work for me),... Nothing sorted it
I just downloaded and purchased the "Recent Notifications" app.
I excluded all apps except the calendar app so now at least I can find all of my calendar reminders that have fired off in one place. It includes a 4x3 widget which is just waaaay too big to be useful,in my opinion, but I just click into the app to view them.
My S10 didnt have this issue, and why does my Secure Folder always want to open up every time I start my car? Why does my wifi say it isn't connected to the internet and the only fix is to turn off wifi and back on? And why doesn't my music autoplay in my car anymore? If the phone didnt have such a nice camera then I'd seriously think about switching back. Too many annoyances that didnt used to be annoyances.

No need for an additional app. There is a simple solution. Go to notifications...advanced settings...notification history....and turn it on...It keeps record of all notifications....even calendar events/meetings... I use outlook and had a meeting 1 day ago and the notification is still in the history, just had to scroll down to the meeting notification...It divides it into recent notifications and then a bit further down it divides it per app
Using a Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Note 20:
Until a few months ago, anytime a gmail was received by my phone, my watch would buzz, I'd glance at it, and the screen would show the first few lines of the gmail.
That changed at some point. Now, when a gmail is received, my watch buzzes, but when I glance at it, it shows the oldest gmail that I haven't looked at. For example, if I get an email at 9am, lets say the first of the day, it shows up on my watch screen as it should. If I do not respond to it by tapping on the watch screen, or by looking at it on my phone, then for every email I get from that point forward, the watch will buzz and show me the 9am email. This continues until I open gmail on my phone.
Is there a way to set this back to the way it used to be?
Mine tends to do this with text messages when I have multiple unread. It will show me the oldest unread instead of the newest.
