Hi,
I know there's a cab to add a 3g button to commanager. But as I am Using this option very often a quicklink on the homescreen would be great.
So i ask you: is there a cab for adding a ON/OFF 3G Quicklink? I only found Dataconnection ON/OFF Quicklink so far...

Using Duttys WM6.1 with CommManager3G.
There are 9 buttons.
Is there a possibility I put 'terminate data connection' in the empty 10th place? How?
I thought it was possible with Schaps Advance Config but I can't find..
As far as I know, Advanced Config will allow you to change existing buttons to another function, but not add buttons.
Dutty's 10 button 3G Comm Manager can be found here.

where in the advanced config can i manage these buttons?
Under the right softkey action in Advanced Config, there is an option called Comm Manager settings. In there you can select from a list which options are available on the Comm Manager.
Hello
Is there any way to create or link, or install, whatever to use a Large Icon to Turn Bluetooth ON and OFF?
Thanks
Mussacredi
in "quickMenu" there is a bluetooth control. try that.
also, in some roms there is a "wireless" today plugin that is also supposed to control wireless connections.
Or you can also use the standard comm Manager.
I think if you search the dev/Hacking forum, you might be able to find something like that.
try AEButton plus (google it).
You can use it to assign a button press to toggle bluetooth (AND wifi).
I use it and it works perfect...I've set it up so a double press of the call button toggles wifi and a double press of the endcall button toggles bluetooth.
You can set it up any way you'd like. You can also create a shortcut that can be used with rlToday to assign a large icon on the screen to toggle it.
(I prefer the button method because it works whether the today screen is displayed or not).
I just got my ATT Fuze and flashed it with ROMOSe 1.40
Is there any program / cab which will reassign the PTT button to turn wifi on/off. I can assign the PTT button for the comm manager but thats the closest I can come for wifi on/off.
I had Treo Pro briefly and it has a dedicated hard ware button to turn wifi on-off. It would be really nice to have this functionality on Fuze.
there are already a bunch of threads on the topic of reassigning the ptt button. Instead of starting a new thread why not search for one of those threads ... ??

This functionality is available using AE Buttons Plus. Unfortunately, because of the fact that it causes keys on the keyboard to repeat randomly when the PTT button is mapped, I can't really recommend it.
I'm sure it's trivial to write such a program, though, with the appropriate tools. Perhaps someone will volunteer.
There are threads on the ptt remap, but not on mapping wifi on/off to ptt or any other key. :-(

you are right. What really happens when the wifi is turned on in the comm manager settings -- is there any exe programs being executed to turn the wifi on -- if so then that exe file / program can be mapped to PTT button. I am just guessing here. Somebody with detailed knowledge may be able to explain more.

After a quick search on Google I found a freeware application HButton. This program has a wifi toggle and it can be set to PTT button to turn on/off wifi. I just not tested this program and it is working fine. Here is the link for the program

Edit:
Even a better simpler freeware program found -- aktogglewifi

That's great! THANKS!!!
I have down loaded and am using two great cab files that I am now using on my Sprint TP. One is BT on/off, and the other is WIFI on/off. In particular I have mapped BT on/off to a soft key on my TF3d home screen (easier than having to take 3 steps to access comm manager) Quickly turn BT on and off (toggle).
Does any on know if there are any cabs out there that create a program icon to turn on, and turn off the Sprint data connection (toggle it on and off, like the sliding comm manager feature?
I would map it to another softkey on my TF3d home location. I am already aware of being able to terminate the data connection via the long press option quick list.
I like to turn off the connection, fairly quick after I use it to conserve battery.
I also posted this in the CDMA Threads
Is there a simple bluetooth switch app out there, no GUI just a start menu (today shortcut) icon that pressing turns bluetooth on and off?
