I wana to update Rom ver. of my touch pro because of this problems as the htc site said:
1. The display of TouchFLO 3D sometimes may appear cracked.
2. When taking a picture, the auto focus function may malfunction in some circumstances.
3. In some circumstances, the preview screen will become black after taking picture.
4. In some circumstances, the device may hang while loading TouchFLO 3D.
5. When hanging up a phone call, there may be a delay in the display response.
but when I type my serial No, it doesn't let me to download it.....
why ?
any help....?

I have updated my ROM on the HTC site and I do recall that you need to put a (S) for the serial number in order for this update to work

Hi!
I asked this question first on another board, but XDA-Dev is for me the best board when it come to hard question.
So here's the problem : I think I messed up my device while trying to flash it with a french rom.
I edited the rom and swaped the headers with Hexedit from the english roms to the french roms in :
RadioFS.nbf
RadioOS.nbf
CEOS.nbf
EXTROM.nbf
But here's the problem... while flashing the device, the RadioOS is stuck at 0.1%.
If I remove the RadioOS.nbf & RadioFS.nbf from the hpRUU.ini then it flash the unit, and everything is ok except that I cannot active the Radio (cell phone), it lookup the device.
Here's what I see from the Asset Viewer:

Radio Firmware Version :
Radio Protocol Stack Version :
Radio Bootloader Version :
Radio File System Version :
Default Radio GDFS Version :
I've tried to reflash the device with bigrom, but no luck, it just flash CEOS.nbf & EXTROM.nbf.
Finally, if I try to flash de device from windows with the ROM12132Beta (with activesync disabled) I get an Error 514 message : device failed verification. So I hacked the rom to get it to flash (with hexedit I replaced the 3 letter language with blank space) but it get stuck at 1.0%.
So do you know if there's is a way to force the flashing of the RadioOS.nbf & RadioFS.nbf? (maybe directly from the SD card?)

Because since this is a US device and I'm in Canada I'm not covered by the warranty, so I'm really screwed. I understand this is an HP device, but it is manufactured by HTC and I'm sure that if there's a place where there's people that know well the HTC devices, it's here.
I have the same problem. I'm going to use a sd card to reflash my HW6515. Did u solve the problem?
Not really... I sent it back for repair...
Not really great because this mean I'm 2 months without my PDA

I have an hp h6315. It worked great. One morning, I woke up and saw it turned off. When i turned it on again:
imei: N/A !!!
backlight can not be bright ?!
can not do soft reset or hard reset. The only way to turn it off is take off the battery ??
can not be realized by the computer through usb (can do activesync) so i can't upgrate or fix it's rom
the main function of pda is ok but phone is no way (of course because of no imei?)
unrecognized battery, but: remove battery and use the ac - no improve, same problems, use one new battery: same message, same problem
but i can play game (with dark light), can do other simple things like word, excel ... with it
So, what happens to my pda? Can it be fixed ? Help me please!

Hello everyone, my problem is that when i go to the htc page to upgrade my wm, when i put the serial (under the battery) it says that it's not adapted to my phone (htc touch cruise)....

wm6.1 upgrade is not available for users in some regions and the serial no. specifies the country you bought your phone from. anyway if you're trying to download the wm6 official rom just choose the country before you go to download page and you'll be able to download it. but if you're trying to download the wm6.1 upgrade then i advise you to use one of the cooked roms instead, they're far better than the official rom.

I am extremely confused because of the ROM version mismatch with the model.
I have a HTC Touch P3450 with the following conf-
ROM Version : 3.07.720.03 WWE
ROM Date : 10/25/08
Radio Version : 03.34.90
Protocol : 4.1.13.71
CPU : OMAP850
Model No. : ELF0100
Now I have got an issue where this phone stucks after a Hard reset and doesn't start the setup. Doing Hard reset for multiple times makes this happen once. i wanted to flash it with the original official ROM but i got shocked to see that the ROM ver of my phone only comes for ELFIN model. ELF doesn;t have any 3.x.x. ROM ver. Even on the HTC website, its saying that my device is not supported for the above ROM version. Hows that possible?
I have never upgraded my phone and the above mentioned ROM ver has come with the phone itself. But I can't find any doc supporting this fact.
What shall I do? Plz suggest.
