Hello everyone, my problem is that when i go to the htc page to upgrade my wm, when i put the serial (under the battery) it says that it's not adapted to my phone (htc touch cruise)....
could you help me?

wm6.1 upgrade is not available for users in some regions and the serial no. specifies the country you bought your phone from. anyway if you're trying to download the wm6 official rom just choose the country before you go to download page and you'll be able to download it. but if you're trying to download the wm6.1 upgrade then i advise you to use one of the cooked roms instead, they're far better than the official rom.

I was in the middle of a rom upgrade with my magician and the battery has died now after trying to reupgrade with the original imate rom, it gives me a country code error. When I use get device data and view the devicedata.txt file all I get is 2 little squares where there was the operator ID. How can I reinstall the original rom from Imate and have it overwrite the operator ID on the device so I will except the upgrade. I have tried this via SD and with the original upgrade but with no luck. Help is really need please. I know this can be done I just aint sure how to go about doing it. It happen to be with my Qtek 2020 when upgrading to the 2.20 CHS version it changed from Qtek to o2.
he i have wm6 on wizard 8125 and when my provider is at&t,,well i have 2 questions, On the boot where is says ISP:3.06 and SPL:306. how do i remove the t-mobile picture and all the programs that are for t-mobile?? and the 2nd question is when it does start up ther is an message which says "THE FILE "SDDAEMON" CANNOT BE OPENED. eITHER IT IS NOT SIGNED WITH A TRUSTED CERTIFICATE, OR ONE OF ITS COMPONENTS CANNOT BE FOUND." the last question is where do i get the "sddaemon: and "sddialer" also "wtcvpdf" from? because some of my programs from my program section wont open Thanks

Wizard 8125...with wm6...IPL/SPL 3.06 ?...t-mobile loading screens and programs ?...provider at&tt ?........

ok,let me try to get it straight :-
1. Initially it was on at&tt Rom wm5,right ?
2. Did you try to upgrade to wm6 ? and flashed the T-mobile 2.26 Rom ?
3. Its not ipl/spl 3.06 but ipl/spl 3.08,which you must have gotten by flashing the IPL/SPL 3.08,right ?
well,T-mobile 2.26 is also a wm5 official rom and not a wm6 rom,therefore,by flashing an official t-mobile rom on your already at&tt official rom,has just changed the OS from At&tt to t-mobile OS,but certainly not to a wm6 Rom. That's why your load up screens and programs are of T-mobile.

the splash screens can be easily changed. search for them on here. you will find a few different ones.
for the other things, they were from the extended rom which wasnt installed.

How wud you explain this.....Provider At&TT....T-mobile Rom (OS).....Wm6 ?
I don't think T-mobile is offering any wm6 upgrades,atleast not to my knowledge.Care to update me ?

I have just unlocked my UK T-Mobile kaiser to use with my company Vodafone sim and realised T-Mobile really cut back on the installed apps. Before I go with one of the upgrade roms I've been trying to find a dump of the original rom as a safety net without any luck.
Does anyone have a dumped rom or could point me to a link as I have been unable to track one down through the wiki or search function.

Dump your ROM if you want. There are a few that would like th OEM T-Mob.

1.What CDMA is and what GSM,what is the difference and how i know which one i own.
2.To update to another rom i have to Hard SPL my phone?and what is this?do i hve to unlock something?
3.If i flash my touch pro can i install the Greek Language?

The easiest to explain (without going into the technology) is that a GSM phone most common has a SIM card while the "SIM" in a CDMA phone is a fixed install, you as a user / customer cannot change. Since you are in Europe I assume you do have a SIM card thus a GSM phone.
Most ROMs here in the forum if not otherwise specified are GSM and you do need to flash any than your carrier provided ROM.
You must have your phone SECURITY UNLOCKED (which is different from SIM unlocked) to flash a NON Raphael/Fuze Radio.
The ROM you quote IS a GSM ROM.

As mentioned to you in the Energy 3.0 thread, please DO some reading!
You first need to backup your PIM data (contacts), flash hardSPL (please look up the thread and download the software).
Afterwards you can flash a non carrier bound ROM (i.e. Energy ROM where you posted as well).
WITHOUT hardSPL you may BRICK your phone or get STUCK at 0% loading for ages.
Note:
Be aware that you have an original TouchPro not a branded ATT Fuze so you should read up front to get the right keyboard layout back, you'll find the "how-to" here in the forum.
ok 2 more questions for you please sorry if bothering.about hardSPL could you send the page to download it?after i do hardSPL i update with the rom i send you?at the post of this rom it says Download from EU Server > Regular / MSVC which i use Regular or Msvc?And last with right keyboard layout back you mean to bring back Greek language?

i still don't understand what you mean with the keyboard.i downloaded hardSPL and the MSVC rom i send you.now i'm ready to flash my phone?
First you have to flash hardSPL (read the corresponding thread) to allow to flash a non carrier provided ROM.
Afterwards you can flash the NRG ROM you want.
If you have Greek characters on your keyboard I cannot help you but answers HOW TO get the right keyboard layout are in the forum.
If you have the original TouchPro engl. layout just read NRG's first post!!!
If you own a Touch PRO, use the "Keyboard Selector" application under Utilities (after you flash the ROM) to select the proper keyboard layout to use. The ROM comes with the Fuze layout by default.

You have to change the MUI value in the reg to get the greek characters and keyboard working. Do a search for keyboard mapping or for MUI codes.
There is a Tilt ROM chef called B16B in the Tilt forum who is from Greece, you may contact him he may be able to help.
Perhaps there's something in this search but I don't know

Then you have a branded device, like Orange E650, Vodafone VDA-V, V1415 or others. You will not be able to load the original S710 firmware anyway, even if you get it. Lookup related threads dealing with "dead S710" "bricked device" or alike. There are methods to bypass the check for the vendor ID.
