At this point I think the BonfireMedia app is still better, so I included them both.

confirmed, the one in the market is 2.0.0 and is signed with another key, so uninstall your old version
Seems like it's only for US users.
For other countries, root users please use your market enabler/access to find the app in market.

I keep getting "Package file not signed correctly" errors from the Market download, even after uninstalling all traces of CtP from my Droid. Anyone else having this issue?
Edit: Never mind...rebooting between the uninstall and the Market download solved it.
So can someone post the new version? It's not available in the Czech Republic either

Are you using an old version of the installer? That might be the problem.
I just downloaded the installer and Swype and got version 2.4.44.10912
So 2.4.44.10912 is the newest version?
I'm getting an error message when using the updated version. It says:
The Swype package you installed is configured for another device and will opeate with limited functionality.

Yeah, I can confirm 2.4.44.10912 is the latest version. Just downloaded the new SwypeInstaller and reinstalled Swype. Seems like they've changed its looks yet again from the 1.61 version. Though the changes this time are very subtle.
I've been running 1.61 and would love to try out 2.4.44.10912. Since I am an unofficial beta tester, can someone PM me with a way to get the newest version.
I'd appreciate it.

Yeah, you're right. You can find it on the web Market. I just can't install it on my device. The apk has to be out there somwhere.

I am looking for some APKs from Google Play that aren't available in Germany and that aren't compatible with my HTC Desire HD. I was wondering if anyone would be so kind and download the App from Appstore and upload me the APK. Any help is greatly appreciated.
The Apps in question are:

You can find the apk Path on the device by typing
pm path com.hti.activity
or
pm path com.gm.chevrolet.nomad.ownership
or
pm path com.gm.gmc.nomad.ownership
inside an adb shell. After that you can pull the apk with
adb pull [path]
no root required.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with that.

Thanks for the tip. However, that app only seems to unlock the region boundaries, not compatibility issues with my old phone.

yeah try to do things like that like
"angry bird.apk" on google and there, a million website that give you a link download for free.. dont be lazy to searching while there google still stand.
or you can use Market Unlocker to unlock the apps thats not available on ur country

I've done that. The first one isn't anywhere on the net, at least I didn't find it. The other ones have previously been posted here but are old versions that don't work anymore.
