ATT tilt question

Hi, i am new here, i have got a ATT tilt. i have just unlocked it. and i have a few questions about the phone.
1. can i get the HTC(touch) interface instead of the stock one.
2. How to activate the GPS? (do i need to unlock it)
3. What do i need to do if i wanna watch youtube in my phone?

Since this is your first post I will point you in the right direction.
First see the fist link in my signature. This will teach you the in's and out's of posting.
1. I think what you mean is the cube if I not mistaken. You can get the touch interface (cube)by downloading this. Poorly Duck's Cubes
2. GPS is already activated. I would suggest downloading Google Maps or Live Search for the mobile. You should be able to find both of these by searching google. Google Maps & Windows Live Search Mobile
3. To watch youtube. Download first this app. TCPMP .72
Then download this one. FlashVideoBundle
Click on Video Sites from Start > Programs and you should be able to select either YouTube...Google Video what have you.
Next time you want to find something you are looking for I would do this.
Use Google Advanced search by clicking on this link.Google Advanced Search and then put XDA in front of anything you are looking for.

well, i guess this being like the 100th new stupid question thread this week goes to prove that consolidating the threads did not fix the laziness/ignorance of new members...

vBullentin has a module that makes member's read preselected threads before being able to read any other thread and post. I hope the admin takes it into consideration. It well surely save all this clutter.

[FIX] GPS Issues

Hello,
I have your fix to all GPS issues.
NOTE: You will need to repeat this every time you flash a NEW ROM. You only need to do this ONCE per rom.
NOTE: If you GPS works DO NOT DO THIS!
Step A) Download and install : https://market.android.com/details?id=com.eclipsim.gpsstatus2&feature=search_result
Step B) Run it
Step C) Clear AGPS data.
Step D) Let the gps status LOCK! Make sure NOT to skip this step. Let it do a FULL lock.
Step E) Go into maps and profit.

Um - that means it's not a fix. A patch/workaround/method/etc. might be a better term. Not saying it doesn't work, but please stop calling things like this a fix. It's a fix when it actually fixes the problem.
and it's already been discussed as a "fix" in numerous other threads...

you should do a search and thanks the 7 other post with the same exact info and who knows even donate to the creator.
as for the OP saying let the haters hate.... not really hating but its just annoying. What if every member posted the same thread with all the same info.... and top it off put it in the wrong section. i know im exaggerating but it would be annoying and it also hurts actual development related ones.... just something to think about

Nope - not at all. Glad you got your GPS working. If you had looked, you would have seen that there are plenty of other threads on this issue and probably would have already gotten your nav working sooner.
Like it was just said - having yet another thread on this issue doesn't make it any better of a "fix." That's not hating, that's pointing out the obvious.

this doesn't work for me on BAMF 1.5 or Tesla coil... So far nothing lets me GPS lock closer than 2300 meters without a 5 min or longer wait in maps.

update....::::: a bit swamped all of a sudden but i did tweak out a few lines for SID 4151 (miami)... i havent tested it yet but if anyone wants it here it is... i did mod a few other SIDs (to a negative effect) so i wouldnt recommend this for anyone not in Miami nor anyone without SID 4151... be aware that changing your SID to a wrong place can be detrimental to your speeds... it can be changed in #data... and yes this thread is now abandoned..
of course, if this prl does nothing or does bad all you have to do is flash an unmodded prl and good to go././

Status Bar Music Controls

I had them in my last rom, and i updated to the latest version and there is no option to chang songs or no now playing music on the pull down menu. any way i can get this back?

You can start by not spamming the dev section.

Firstly, this plus one.
I'm assuiming you mean on the latest gbread leak ee03?
Now, I don't think its a missing feature, but rather something about the status bar is broken. If you notice while you are in the music player app, the icon for the music player controls pops up in the status bar, but pull the bar down and its gone. And as soon as you leave the music app the icon disappears as I'm sure you're aware.
I believe its the status bar and not the app that's the problem since the same symptoms occur with the fm radio (haven't tried pandora yet)...even tho fm radio is borked lol

They are not based on aosp, they are based off the sdk but with a few fixes from aosp

Word. This question has NOT been answered, nobody has put up a development thread for an AOSP based rom. While this is not the right place to ask the question, it is definitely a valid one.

This is NOT a valid question. It requires a ridiculous level of obliviousness to think that you'd be the only person to think that porting AOSP JB would be a good idea. Of course people are working on it. Jeez, it's like people are getting less intelligent with each passing day.
