I've been searching for a way to mute/disable my key-tone for a while, but can't find any cab/settings to do so.
Does anyone know a solution??? ( Other then to turn the system sound down.. )

Start>Settings(WM setting)>Personal>Phone => Keypad

My device now locks itself after a very short time and I have to 'Unlock' it. I cannot figure out where to uncheck this and its driving me crazy. Can someone assist?
Use a regedit program and go to the following value
Automatically lock your Diamond --> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\BackLight\AutoDevic eLockEnable change it to 0 and do a soft reset.

Not sure I'm understanding your problem. Did you go into Settings -> System -> Key Lock and configure it to lock the buttons when the screen is off?

I have done that, but it doesn't work.. what else can I do?
probably a stupid question but you have not installed device lock and set it to lock on wake??

if device lock is an app then no I haven't... otherwise I have no idea where I can find that

search on here for it but i dont know if it will solve the problem and it is an app.
goto start/settings/system/
there is an icon "lock" , click on that.
uncheck the box (if its checked)
otherwise i dont know..

I know that there is another topics about notifications registry, but no one about this in particular.
I need to change the value that corresponds to the time the notifications stays on screen. Toast notification. I want it, instead leaving after a few seconds, stays there until I dismiss it manually.
Anyone know how can I do this?

Let me know if this was what you are looking for:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\NotificationToast]
"Disabled"=dword:0
"Category"="Notification"
"Sound"="\\Windows\\Alert-05.wma"
Change it to 1, even the sound can be altered

That disabled all notifications.. I don't to disable toast. I want them to stay on my screen until I manually dismiss it (sliding it).

Hi,
Even in user.hv of newest ROMs there is no more setting
You can test if it works to add "Timeout"=dword:20 when "Disabled"=dword:1

First, sorry for my bad English.
I'm searching for an Mod/Hack, which enabled Song Switching by holding Volume + or - Button for x Seconds.
MIUI for example, developed a Mod called "4WayReboot_VolumePlus" which has the same function.. but only for MIUI!
And I'm using InsertCoin..
While I'm driving with my car, I can't change the song about the car radio.
Using my mobile phone while I'm driving is to dangerous.
Can someone build anything like that?
Or has someone an idea how can I solve the problem?
It would be VERY VERY helpful for me and maybe for others too!

i've tried to change the push notification sound on my WindowBreak unlocked Omnia 7 with Advanced Config. but when i'm trying to select another sound, the app crashes and it starts to vibrate until i lock it. so, i looked for the sound in the /windows folder and tried to replace it with another sound. but now, i haven't got any sound for push notifications. anyone could help?

What I ment was that when I'm connected to a WiFi I'll only get messages from Whatsapp for example when I'm turning
on the screen for about 3 seconds.
Is this an energyoption ? Didn't found anything till yet.

Have you got stamina mode on? That mode stops the data communication while the screen is off.

Your English is better than my Spielergesprechan.
Go to the battery manager, then scroll down until you see Whatsapp (for example), and ensure you don't have `restrict background data` set for it.
In WiFi advanced settings there is an option to set if you want WiFi always on, or always on if connected to charger or off with screen off. I'm guessing its set to turn off with screen off.

Guess this was my mistake, it was set to "None ( Higher Datavolume )"
Nevermind, even with this Setting it doesn't work..
I could record my screen ( for example if I get a mail or sth ) and show it to you if needed
The messages only arrive if I unlock it.
I'm an IT-Specialist so I think I'm not that dumb :|
I really don't get what's the problem :s
Anyone else experiencing this ?

Did you try a full data reset? Maybe something got corrupted.

I don't want to go that far - I'm not thinkink this is a solution :/
Turn off WiFi power savings in advanced and see if it helps....and keep WiFi to always on.

Got the solution. I had some other energysettings on.
For example: I had WLAN-Energyoptions turned on while my Stamina-Mode was off.
Or my stamina Mode was on and my WLAn-Energyoptinos were off.
Ridiculous..
My problem is solved now! Thanks for all your help.
