when in camera go to settings and its in there if you have a pure
If its not there the NRG ROMS have a B&B tweak program that lets you set it.
I am not by my phone so if you have a problem finding that utility let me know.

bsb tweaks is in start>tools. but that just adds the super fine setting to the camera settings.

im an idiot. i always forget everyone else isnt using the same rom as me. ull have to download bsbs twaeks if you want to use it. but, if you go to camera>settings>advanced>resolution that is where the setting is.
ill sound a bigger idiot now ... but where r the cam settings advanced nd all? .... when i click on camera app it opens my cam nd when cam is opened all i see is ... pics , video option, memory device option , nd timer option thts it i dnt see settings anywhere :S

on mine its right beside self timer on the right. it says advanced. yours might not have this option, im running the newest energy rom.
yea mine doesnt .... so i think i need to dl new rom ...leemoss tell me sumtin ... how much memory do i need to download latest rom like u hv? and wats the connection between ROM nd win 6.5? im a bit confused (sorry fr bein so dumb nt researching much lately cuz of house work hehe)

First for camera, check your registry here; To enable Macro Mode navigate in registry to HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\General\MacroMode=>1
Search for PH Reg Edit if you don't have a reg editor. This should bring up your missing options.
For flashing ROMs, older ROMs run WM 6.1, newer ROMs run WM 6.5. Your device will have enough memory as it will wipe your device of all programs and settings and replace with new one. If you do not understand the basics (no offense intended) you really need to read and learn about flashing a ROM.
Its not difficult but you can damage your device if you do it incorrectly.

i would reccomend the new energy rom, it one of the best. and i have flashed atleast one of each from all the chefs around here.

i just started reading ur forum yesterday.. and installed the advanced configuration tool.. did a few tweaks in messaging.... (enable sent message and delivery).. now i cant read messages... as soon as i press the sms tab... it launches touch flo again and again....

You need to tell us which Rom you are using, when did the problem occur (i.e. after a flash or always since purchase). Also, you should do a proper search once you have narrowed down the Rom and/or other specifics. Do the search in one of <<THESE THREADS>>
how do i find out the ROm version... ??? it started happening after i installed config manager and tweaked sms settings a little.. now i think my touch flo is also not performing properly.... do you think i should do a factory reset??

The normal APP2SD problem -.-u must use MountUSB Widget to mount your sdcard as harddrive ;-) Thats the only problem i know.

So, i try your rom right now, and the first feelings are good. Moving between the screens is very smooth and in the main menu self. A other bit plus is that you have the option to switch between diferent keyboard types. Two things, in the main menu you have to navi and maps icons, one from it is whit red capitals, BRUT.. so im didnt know what you mean whit it? and the other input, when you go to the third screen to the left side, you see a line on the left side from the display.. the other things are fine right now for me.. i think a standard e-mail app would be greate, so you can sync whit ms exchange.. whit a free usb switch from the market, the mounting from the sd card as a external drive on the pc works fine.. ,)

THIS ONLY WORKS ON STOCK CUSTOM ROMS..... DOESN'T WORK ON CM..... SO DONT TRY IT IF U R ON CM.....
So Changes i have made to the MOD:
audio frequency increased from 16000Hz to 44100Hz
audio channels increased from mono(1 channel) to stereo(2 channel)
superfine quality has been increased heavily
audio bitrate increased to 128kbps AAC
maximum framerate has been increased to 30fps(its variable bitrate so u wont get 30fps everytime)

dude download the zip file and extract it and then open the extracted folder after that connect your phone to the usb (don't go into USB mode) then open the file that has file name install, wait for a sec and then it's done
And I don't know if it works on other ROMs but I'm pretty sure that it will work.

connect ur mobile with the data cable and press "instll" file in the extracted zip and ur done

I am having the same problem. Though I can see the camera app in system via root explorer but there's no camera app in app drawer. So how to make it run now. I have tried it on cm7.1 and 7.2 and got the same problem.

I think the camera app might have got freezer, though I haven't tried this ..but I'm pretty sure that it must have freezer...so use titanium backup or similar app to defrost the app!...

this is my personal opinion... i not judging any other roms...
in my view fitdroid 3.5 is best.. i have been testing it from 2 months and it is running very smooth, has better battery back up and a good ui.. for watching videos download mx video player its the best app so far... and for good sound quality there is a multimedia enhancers in themes section download it and flash it... first of all flash the cwm via odin.. after that download the rom put it in your sd card.. on the phone by pressing home+switch on button.. it will enter into recovery mode... wipe data reset, wipe cache then install zip from sd card select the file.. its done

Okay buddy, there is no thing as "best", all custom roms have their own bugs and advantage points, and it all boils down to personal opinion and experience...
That ^ said, our fit's hardware isn't so great that you can smoothly run hd videos...for that, you will need a higher end phone...
Or, alternatively, you can convert the files to .mp4 format, and then run them...

our fit is a g8 device. it plays hd videos in mx player but does'nt play smoothly bec. of hardware limitation but if we install a rom which provides enough hardware acceleration so that it enables us to run hd videos , then we hav made it . i hav read abt such roms for fit but does'nt know their name so i was asking for such rom ..............cn u suggest the rom u like the most!!!???
If you think fit is a great device, then you haven't experienced the top end phones yet (hope I don't start a war on this )...
That being said, there is always a limit till where we can tweak the software...afterall the software is directly affected by the hardware, which none of us can (or want to ) personally mess with...
With regards to my opinion, my personal favorite isn't here on this forum, and it would be rude to compare "x rom is better than y rom"...all roms are great in their own way...
Since you are new here, you can try any of the roms available in the dev section, and believe me, you'll be surprised...

a.cid uses cm7 always

if u want play hd videos just convert them in to 3gp using our kies..
just drop the video in videos folder in the kies.. right click on it, select convert files then go to user settings..
select file type as 3gp
select resolution as 320*240
select frame rate as 25
select bit rate as 409600..
i assure u it will save a lot of place of your sd and the quality of the video is soo good just try it .. u wont regret it...
and for the rom.. u just try it.. just download the fitdroid 3.5,boot.zip and stock kernel with out memory patch coz using this will increase your battery performance...
and im attaching the screens just for your reference..

musicmod v4 is definately the best one for music till now...
umm..for gaming its hard to tell coz some games work better in some roms but not smooth on others...
so better try all roms yourself and decide...

Ya its same for the pico. But I found one way . it worked for me now I even can play FIFA 14 in my pico . hope it works for u too.

AS you said you want ICS only :
This is the most stable ICS rom and this is still being most stable and many ppl still use : CM 9.1 Official thread
There is a build 15 as well but not mentioned : CM 9.1 Build 15
There is no inbuilt script so you need to flash the script or you can copy paste it in etc folder.
If you dont know how to copy paste script and list of scripts : Check here
As you said the downloads stop in between you need int2ext remember int2ext not int2ext+..

Either use titanium backup app to backup all apps with data or backup rom in recovery and use nandroid manager app.

Yes it has memory increase script...just choose in aroma installer the memory increase kernel, and yes it's working with ext2, ext3 and ext4
