HD2 Sense Music Player Playlist Issue

Hi all,
In HD2 Sense, if I reopen Music Player it goes directly to the last played song in the current playlist (which is good). However, if I access the playlist (via Library), the current Playlist is ALWAYS reset and it starts from the beginning (which is not good!). So if I want to go to the last played song and select another song a few clicks lower in the playlist, I have to start from the top and re-scroll the ENTIRE playlist in order to find the last played song and start from there... This is very annoying, as most players (ex. Pocket Player which unfortunately is not supported in WinMo6.5) always take the playlist to the last played song after reopening. Any one knows of a solution?

Music Player

I was wondering if anyone knew of a better music player than htc's?
One of the main problems is searching for songs, scrolling takes a long time and if use the search button it repeats the song. Also I would like it to save my preferences on auto-loop and shuffle.
Was also wondering if what the best way to transfer music AND playlist from itunes to the evo.
And I have noticed my Ipod touch plays music much louder than my evo, is there any way to overide the sound cap?

Switching back to the old Music player

Hi guys,
When I bought my Nexus S, the music player (the one that has an icon of a speaker) was very cool. Suddenly, one day it asked me to upgrade to a newer version. The newer version of music player (the one that has a headphone icon) looks more beautiful in the design, but quite crappy in the functionality since I can't really set my preferred EQ for songs, or to change the ringtone (in the old player, I just tap and hold a certain song to load the options where I can set it as a ringtone).
So do you know how can I switch back to the older music player?
Thanks,
Tris.

Click to collapse
You should just be able to go to the relevant entry in the Marketplace or the phone settings application list and uninstall the updated version. The stock player will be retained, unless you've rooted your phone and manually deleted it.
Nice answer mate, that solves my problem
Thanks a lot.

[Q] Music Playlists

Hi guys,
Every time I update my Rom it seems my playlists get deleted, even when using Titanium Backup. Do you know how I can get them back or where they are usually stored. (My main media player is Winamp by the way)
Cheers,
Pav

Playlist cap at 55?

Hello,
So I've always managed my music through iTunes, just because it's the easiest for me to use and all of my music is already there. I've recently found out that you can export playlists from iTunes to android phones (File->Library->Export PLaylist-> select .m3u format...). However, not all of my playlist is present when I look at it on the phone. It seems to be capped at 55 songs, which I thought was some weird setting but I realized there wasn't any rhyme or reason to the songs it was choosing to view. They were from the same albums, but the order in which it chose the albums was miscellaneous. I checked, and it isn't the app (Google Play Music), because I tested with Rocket and the stock samsung music app aswell. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know, this is really annoying!
Thanks!
