battery Status Advance keeps freeware message keeps coming up

Hi, I have Battery Status installed on my phone for a long time. and My version is 1.05.105 beta5
and every 5 seconds or so the freeware message keeps coming up. I can't even use my phone properly with it. What's going on?
I tried search of this message but I had no luck.
Can someone help me?

it did the same with me but after a soft reset it went away

it comes back after a soft reset. it shows up when my phone is finished booting.

Yeah me too! It's really winding me up. I don't even remember installing the blasted thing. Unless it came with my Dutty ROM I just installed but the messages only started showing up in the last day and I've had the ROM for over a week with no problems before this. I am wondering if it hitched a lift on something else I installed

I don't have homescreen plus plus I want to continue to use Resco Today explorer. I don't know where BatteryStatus Advanced even came from!

look dude, if you cannot search for homescreen plus plus, which is succesor for bs, i think you should stop writing..

Keyboard light??

Anyone know how to keep the keyboard light on longer than 5-10 sec when opened like the mogul??

Thanks a lot for the heads up on the configuration tool. But unfortunately it didn't work. I set up to stay on for 10 min, but it still kicks off after like 10sec God I hope it's just my keyboard that has this problem.

Surely it would be better to hope that it's the software that's the problem, that way someone can come up with a fix for it?

Clock problem

Hi!
I have htc touch pro (AT&T version) with the latest stock rom.
For months already I am having problems with my clock. Altho its set to +2 Sofia time, it keeps on changing either to +1 time zone either it keeps the time zone but it changes 1 hour ahead or back. Doesn't sound that horrible, i know, but it's practicly unusable as an alarm clock and when i had forgotten my wristwatch home, i never know if i can trust my phone
Please tell me any ideas u might have for this.

could it be a regional settings or daylight saving issue?

Hey,this looks strange,but did you use Weather Master for TouchFlo? I had similar problem and I found a fix,that I have done manually with some kind of database editor(or what was it). The problem was,that in some manila file there was bad timezone hardwritten,so I just rewrited it to +1 in my case and after that it was correct.

no I haven't, and I didn't use manila either. It's weird, since i installed Throttle Lock looks like i don't have the problem anymore, at least for a week now. Just yesterday it was showing correct time but in throttle lock was showing one hour ahead. so i looked at the clock and it was actually time zone +1 (incorrect) but with time of +2, so it was showing correct on the today screen. i changed it to +2 with the time it should be and it was showing correct on the both screens. It's really weird.

i had this exact prob. i used advance config and disabled the daylight savings c**p. here in oz out dls was extended for an extra week...what a pain. just set it manually. i had the same prob with my original touch.

hmm that's a good idea, thanks, i haven't thought about it. but it's already set there. anyway, it's still working without probs for a week already so i am optimistic about it i really have some feeling the throttle lock fixed it somehow, it's weird but it looks so

Few problems after EMUI 9 Pie Update

Hi !
Happy user of the Honor View 10 since 3 months, I installed the EMUI 9 Pie Update last night.
I did not fully test my phone but I have 4 problems so far. Any help would be appreciated.
Starting from the most annoying to the less.
1) I cannot find anymoe the option "power button instantly locks" to disable it. I disabled it in the previous version (used to be in Settings > Lock screen).
2) I cannot choose anymore to close one app or another. I have no other choice to close all opened apps.
3) When I'm somewhere in the Settings, I don't go back anymore the the home screen. I need to press 2 times the central navigation key.
4) I want the default black theme back ! :crying:
One more question but nothing to do with the update: how to remove the notification when the phone lose and get back the carrier signal (2/3/4G) ?

for locking an app from clear all button, just swipe it down to lock the app from clearing.

Correct. Swipe up it close the App (Swip down the App is locked and won't close close if you press the trash can. Swip down again unlock).

Am I the only one with notifications issues?

Since I've had my phone, some notifications just don't come through no matter what I do. WhatsApp will not work unless I wake up my screen and my calender reminders never work unless I happen to be on my phone.
All permissions granted, battery optimization turned off, auto start enabled and no restrictions on these apps. Quite annoying.
Does anyone know how to sort this?

LOL this has to be the funniest post I've ever seen here. Like 25% of posts and comments on mi 10 ultra forums are about notification issues bud. Did you even attempt to search?

Are you on stock Chinese by any chance? Switch to the EU ROM, this will resolve your issue easier than it is to explain every setting needed for some notifications to fully work. Took me ages but I did do it. Then I went EU, no issues, worked straight away.

I'm on the stock rom. Not planning on switching to the EU rom any time soon as I need Google Pay and my banking apps working.
Would you mind telling me how you got it working?

No of course I didn't search. Who would do such a thing in the pursuit of trying to solve an annoying ongoing problem eh?

Have you gone in to the app settings and notification from their as in screenshot attached

Thanks, I've done this and still notifications only come through when I wake the screen up.

Definitely try the EU ROM. It has its own problems but it's better than the stock.

Yeah I get this all the time. Its so frustrating. This bug has a mind of its own and seems to choose when it likes to stop notifications working

Calendar and WhatsApp are the main ones.

It is very strange, because WhatsApp is one of the apps whose notifications seems to be reliable.
Gmail is one that I am not 100% sure about. But I feel it is somehow related to the way gmail handle its notification, since I experience similar behaviour on other phones.
Teams and Outlook are 100% notifications rate for me.
Possibly I have set something else in MIUI settings, I have to check everything.
