Can anybody tell me how to find the .png for the retractable slider button in MaxManila 2.7SE as I want to try changing it? (see pic below)

Thanks Steve, they are nice looking buttons and just the kind of thing I am trying to do but I have a button of my own I'd like to use.
I really just need to know how to insert one of my own into MaxManila 2.7SE if that is possible. I'm waaay too stupid to be able to read your files to see what you've done, can anyone help me with that?
how did you get the win button in the middle and the two buttons either side, that looks great if its real.

Well................depends what you mean by "real".
It's on my phone and that's a genuine screenshot, but the "Windows Button" isn't a button, just a little logo I put in, it doesn't do anything except look nice.
If you still want it it's uploaded in this post. Cheers.

bugger I have been looking for a way to get the windows button in the middle for ages, the phone could be used properly in one hand if the button was in the middle.

Thanks for the very kind offer Steve, but I tried your slider cab earlier today and it conflicts with MaxManila (unless I'm missing something?). I really want to know how to change the one in MaxManila so I can keep all of the other features? Thanks again though, very nice offer.

Well I guess original authors of your work components should be recognized there buddy.
After I install the action screen, I can't assign any other app to the send key even after I uninstall the action screen.

Even though the work for the icons is others, I do however thank jaguaralani for taking the effort to put them together.
I was using the other ActionScreen that is tweaked for the HD2, but personally I find the icons resolution a bit low to do any justice for HD2. Now I am using what you have put together and am really happy with it.
I installed TouchX SendKey lockscreen and it is able to take over control from ActionScreen as someone complaint that he lost control of the SendKey longpress even after un-installing this app.
in fact they didnt make the icons for this Action Screen, i took the icon backgrounds only and edited them and added the black circlular icons to go along with the action screen.
as written by Title, is possible to increase the scrolling speed of the star menu?
I don't know if is possible to set a parameter with one system editor..i would like to have a scrolling as,for example,in the program "S2U2",and precisely when you chose in this program your wallpaper because is too much fast of the normal velocity of the htc star menù

for each swipe the screen is scrolling and it stops when full, next swipe another one screen down and so on...
the scrolling is not continuous like in the all programs or contacts but it is screen by screen. this gave you the impression that is slow.
this is done so u are not going to "over shoot" / over scroll and then have to scroll back.
i know i might be not clear enough but this the best i can do.
i do not think u can improve it.

You need to flash either a WM6.5.X ROM (builds 28xxx and 23xxx) or a ROM based on Windows Mobile build 23016.
OR you try this: Copy the physicsengine.dll file from the attached .zip to your Windows directory and overwrite the old one. Then restart the device.
You need a file manager like Total Commander or Resco Explorer for this, the built in File Explorer is not able to overwrite system files.
However, this could do all sorts of damage to your system, maybe it won't boot anymore or something else. Try it at your own risk

That can be done and the thread exists in which that topic is being discussed. I've followed several different sets of instructions on HOW TO edit an individual icon from the slider tabs, and it really isn't that difficult.

I have a request. Its an image that matches the colorful stickers slider theme and i managed to track down the original icon set. I had a go at creating it myself. I replaced the image with the one included after i had edited it to be squished as you seem t have to do, however after copying it to windows i had no icon at all. Copying the original back it returned. Is there some sort of signing process ect required. Anyway attached is the .png image

like i know you
well i already used that function but since i dont know what the name for it and every time i used the search function i always end up with long list of sliders but not the up and down slider, its the left and right slider
and i already checked the attachment u uploaded but its almost there, its invisible but i'm looking the transparent so the slider's sign the sqare wtih the triangle in it still visible but the background over pass so we can see the wallpaper
anyone can help this out?

No. It just brings the retracted slider up. The start menu is at the top on my stock rom.

It is permanently on display. I just learned how to convert and edit the manila files. I can't do much more than that.

There is a way, but I can't for the life of me find the thread for it. They are just simple .cabs, I had looooads but I deleted them after installing Windows 6.5.x as I didn't need to use them. I'll keep searching and hopefully someone will link you to a thread in the meanwhile!

Was getting a little frosty in my other thread..
I'm looking for a few things for 6.5...
1) A collection of start icon's (only the icon, no text). Also a separate remove text cab would be nice as I've seen a few others that would give a limb for one...
2) I've not yet seen any of these yet but I'm after a collection of animated load icons (you know, the win icon that spins)
3)A collection of stand alone volume skins. Have seen a couple of these but they always seem to incorporate something else (not that I'm picky lol)
I'm mainly looking for Dusk and Anastasia themed items but i would love to see what else is out there!

Also the "Start" text written on the top cannot be removed. Is there a way for it really.
It will eb a very nice idea to make a collection of
Volume icons
SMS icons
Battery icons
Start icons
and customization of start text.

I've found an answer to that, thanks to dafunk2.
TO ALL OF YOU THAT WANT ONLY THE CUSTOM WAIT CURSOR:
No guys, there is no way to make a cab for only the custom wait cursor.
This is because the custom wait cursor graphics are into the file shellres.192.dll. Into this file reside also many of the taskbar icons and other miscellaneous graphics. If I make a cab with only the file shellres.192.dll and you install it, you will have my wait cursor, but you will have many of my taskbar icons as well. It's good if you use my taskbar (but if you use my taskbar you already have my cursor ), but if you use another taskbar....you can easily understand what can happen.
So this is why there's no way to make a cab that installs only the cursor.
I'm thinking about to make some colors variations of the cursor, but I think that I will make them for cookers (and who knows how to edit dlls) and I will post the 32bit bitmaps in the Windows Mobile Themes section.
I'm sorry.....but I'm explaining why this is impossible

This removed the 'Start' Txt from the upper left Start Button. I'm using T-Mobile US.
