Hello,
I am new to the site and I have just purchased myself an o2 orbit. I am really happy with it but also very keen to understand how I can enhance its performance or tweak it.
Will their be a section for this phone?
Sorry if I am being impatient but I am raring to go.
Has anyone else got this phone yet? if so what have you done with it? Also where can I buy accessories for it?
I look forward to your responses.
Steve

Orbit and TomTom
Hi
i am very new to this thread, so hello and i thank you in advance for any help people are willing to offer.
I am going to be picking my Orbit up tomorrow from my local O2 store. I was wondering if anyone can confirm that TomTom is definately included with the UK models. I have seen on a couple of forums that some people are saying it isn't.
I think your phone is in the Artemis forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=316

Hi all,
I have never owned an XDA but thought I would put a post about the Orbit that I purchased 2 days ago.
It is an excellent piece of kit .. By default it does not come with TomTom (I was offered CoPilot with a £40 contract but I already had TomTom so I declined. I have put TomTom on the device and it works brilliant .. it seems much more accurate than my palm version (probably more accurate GPS device inside).
I used TomTom for an hour today and my battery went down 2%! Brilliant.
Everything is good about the device .. the only gripe I have is that the microphone socket is mini usb (but I am sure there is a convertor out there for that).
The radio is good too (this also seems to have a minimal drain on the battery).
Hi all,
I wonder if anyone is aware of an XDA2s for sale that is loaded with WM5 ?...........It must be located in the UK and happy to pay a reasonable price....Looked on ebay with no success so thought I would try here.
Many thanks
CLIVE
buy any IIs and put wm5 on yourself
xda2s & wm5
Sorry but the question was, and I repeat...does anyone know where i can obtain an XDA2s with WM5 ALREADY loaded ?
Many thanks
you can only get them used because there is no offical wm5 rom for it
Hi everyone,
I just received my new and lovely Orbit II yesterday, I wouldn't have thought it would outclass my previous P3600 so easily... And the TouchFLO interface makes for a bluffing show everytime someone asks for a demo, lol.
My problem is, I had to factory-reset the poor thing after a plugin install crashed on me and bricked it. I quite liked some of the O2 stuff, where can I find it back? They must be available for download somewhere but I couldn't find them here...
Many thanks in advance!
Jay

Hello, first of all i must say that im very new to windows mobile, and Qtek 9000 is my first machine. It still uses the MW5 (didnt change anything) and in my searches i could find that there is Lots of MW5 and 6.1 created by users.
My main question is which ROM you guys recommend? Im looking for one that could turn it more useful with stability.
Other thing, i read something about bootloader g3/g4, what is it?
I hope you guys that have or had a Qtek 9000 can help me, recommending a good or the best system for it.
My best regards.
