The graphics used to get the "big icon" are manila files You can edit them with CFC But they can only be 256x256px
The background of the tab transitions is also controlled by a manila graphic, which only has a resolution of 2x2px, so I wonder if you could do anything else than change colour or opacity

I was wondering how to disable displaying the program name on the taskbar - is there a registry tweak for this?
It's just a cosmetic thing, i would rather see the taskbar clean with just the icons and time instead of having the current running program's name on it.
Any solution?
The closest I've come is by using something like Tweaks2k2 to change the Start-bar font color. So using something like Vicott's great UI Tweaker app, I change my top/bottom bars to all black, then change the font-color to black too.
That will "hide" the program title but, as a side effect it also changes the Time font color. Your signal bars, data connection, battery are untouched though.
It's simple, elegant and my choice for doing things, but like I said you loose the clock. Also, matching the exact colors to the top/bottom bars can be tedious if you don't know their exact color codes, if you do you're all set.

It looks really nice, the way you have done your layout - I like it a lot. I tried changing the colour of the text, but the thing is, I don't wanna loose the WM6 bars - and I am not able to find the matching colour while keeping the "glass" look. But thanks for the advice
If you don't want to lose the clock, you can use analogic clock instead of digital clock (long click over clock to change it)

Hi the theme includes everything in the screenshot except the background, the battery and lock slider is also included. The other stuff is almost standard.
Just trying to add some more skinning to the keypad, password boxes and icons etc... should be uploaded soon.

when i tap the cab. file and install it on internal memory i cant seem to find the installed items anywhere , its as if they not been installed at all. Is there something im doing wrong ? could someone please give step by step instructions on how to install these themes?

The Icons are only blurry because of the bad screenshot.
They look sharp on device.

I want to pimp my lockscreen. Because of some problems with CHTLockscreen I'm using the normal htc-manila lockscreen.
Did someone know, if it was possible to remove / change the text under the slider and which manila file contains the background for clock and next calendar entry ?

See the file LS_TimeBG.png and htc_LS_TimeBG.png in windows folder, it seems they
To delete the text "Schieben" - you need to edit the file LS_LockScene_480x800.cpr (you can open with any text editor): <Text ID="TapOrSlide"...> and <Text ID="SlideToUnlock"...> - change the value of Text = "shellresapps.dll ..." on the Text = ""

pictures works and text works fine after I found out, that the LS_LockScene_480x800.cpr-file was not the file in the /windows-directory.
Same file exist in /windows/lockscreen/ and this was the one !

Does anyone know if CM7 or stock android menu can be changed to white background like MIUI (pic 1) or iphone? Doesn't have to be as pretty with mixed gray and white exactly, just a simple white background instead of black for 2nd pic.

Found a thread mentioned 2 files named menu_background.9.png and menu_background_fill_parent_width.9.png in the framework.apk. Are the popup menu & full screen menu setting related? Could someone help ? Can I just unzip the apk and replace the image, but then how put apk back to the OS? Thanks in advance.

Link is down for the moment. I saw a youtube tutorial of the site. Looks pretty handy to mod the theme, but haven't seen the option to change the menu background yet. I'll try it out when the site is back on.

UOT Kitchen cannot mod the color of the menu screen. It can change pretty much everything else, but not menu colors.
No reason you can open up FrameworkRes.apk and change it yourself though. That's all a dev would be doing. Changing more complicated things is hard (obviously) but simple graphic-related stuff is really, really easy.
