Hi everyone!
I'm running mightyrom's newest RhodiumW 6.5. I installed the MMS fix 2.1, and here's my issue:
technically, i can try to send an MMS. But every time, it says, "message delivery failed." I remember months ago, I had to manually change some technical settings for it to work, but I can't find that thread anywhere.
Any advice?
Hiya everyone,
So, I looked around, and finally found it. Here's the original:

Here's the highlights:
JUST GO TO MESSAGING TAB>ALL MESSAGES>MENU>SETTINGS>OPTIONS>MENU>MMS SERVER
THEN ENTER THIS DEPENDING ON YOUR CARRIER:
To Get Your MSID Number Dial ##778
Server name: Your Choice
IP Address: Blank
Port Number: 80
Server Address: http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/MMS?X-SPRINT-MDN="YOUR MSID NUMBER"
Connect Via: Whatever you data connection is
Send Limit: 1024 KB
I don't have sms/mms addin on my phone. If I install MMS fix 2.1 cabs for sprint. Will that fix it? If so were can I find the cab files?
Did you install Arcsoft MMS? That is needed on Mighty ROM. If you're on the regular Mighty ROM and not any of the special series ones like WAR, then all you need is the Arcsoft MMS cab. Uninstall the MMS 2.1 cab, that's for the roms that use Sense 2.5 and install Arcsoft. Even on Mighty's newest WAR ROM, now it has the 2.1 messaging built in, so for that also, you need Arcsoft. Attaching my version to the post.

These directions are for Sense 2.5 messaging, which still haven't worked for me.
Try changing the WAP version.. That is what did it for me (that is after I got to the point where it let me edit the settings) I have included a file from NRG that is supposed to work for all sense 2.5 to let you edit the MMS settings more... It worked for me..

Hi Everyone,
I just bought a pre owned O2 Mini S. GR8 pda phone but I found difficulties in getting my MMS working. No drop down list for MMS selection at Messaging? Only have Outlook email and Text Message... !!???!!!
MMS Inbox is not available. But MMS Configuration tool box is there under Menu. I did tried to set up MMS setting but still could not see my MMS Inbox.
Anyone?? Any idea how to fix this issue?
I'm currently running on:
ROM version: 1.5.4.2 WWE
Radio version: 01.09.10
Protocal version: 4.0.13.20
ExtROM version: 1.5.4.102
** I know this is old.... old version. Perharps anyone could guide me through changing to the latest version. I'm a newbie, detail instruction will be very much appreciated.
Thank you and have a nice day.

Check that you have "MMS Configuration ..." available in your Outlook Menu.
If you don't then something has seriously gone wrong. Did you install the "ArcsoftMMS-TuMa.cab" file through the EXTROM or manually? If not - do so now. MMS is NOT available in the Base ROM.
Click it, and just ensure that it comes up and is active. The about should say "MMS Composer Version 3.0.7.11"
Click [ok] and close it.
Menu -> Tools -> New Account
Enter "[email protected]" as your email (doesn't matter what). Click Next.
Detect settings ... wait ... Click Next.
Enter a username "mms" will do. Click Next.
Select "MMS" as the Account Type. Click Next.
Incoming Server = "mms", Outgoing Server = "mms". Click Finish.
Finally ... click "NO" to not download mail for this account.
Now go back to Menu -> "MMS Configuration ..." -> Servers
Edit and modify the "Sample Server" to your required settings ... (which I can't help you with)
Presto ... you now have an MMS account.
That is a qoute from WiKi. It is for setting up MMS on a Blueangle (02 XDA IIs). Hope you have some luck. Let me know how it goes.
Thanks for your instructions but still I'm kinda confused with the followings:
1. Step 2 keep saying connecting...... but nothing happened. I have already setup my mms configuration according to Optus setting.
2. Step 3 where it asks to select POP3 or IMAP4 ? I just click next. So it's on POP3. I tried to find MMS but not available as a choice.
3. Finished up with the rest and it is good that I have the MMS category under messaging.
4. I tried to do one mms to myself but failed as the input field TO will only takes an email address but not a numeric phone number. Gosh !! Somewhere went wrong again..... ~sigh.
I have the MMS Composer Version 3.0.7.14 under Arcsoft. I don't know how to install any *.cab files. Maybe you can let me know. Do you think if I do a hard reset will help in getting everything back in order?? Or since I doing the hard reset, may as well update the rom. What do you think mate ?? Any version recommended ??

http://www.seeo2.com/user/XdaIImini/template/XdaIImini_ROMUpgrade_May2005.vm this is a link I found on 02 site so it should be stable and there should be good instructions to upgrade your unit and it says it has a MMS client. I am sorry I can't help with any recommendations or tips or tricks on the upgrade. I think it may be worth upgrading if you are going to hard reset it as you will loss all your data either way and if you are thinking of upgrading it may be could fix two things at one time.

MMS Issues As Well
I am running XDA Mobile 6 R4 and am also having problems with mms. I am unable to modify the size limitation from 600k to 300k and also am recieving "One or more of the message components have been deleted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your terminal." whenever i send a MMS with an attachment. The attachment is an mp3 that is only 211k. Any help would be appreciated.
PROBLEM WITH MMS PICTURE MESSAGING
When i receive a picture message it says something like 150 kb then i press download...then when i go to look at the picture that it downloads its somewhere around 3-6kb and super tiny...is there any 3rd party mms messengers that I can use? HTC could not help me at all...and Tmobile couldn't help me either...both companies were dumbfounded. I have a HTC Fuze unlocked from ATT but using it on Tmobile...any help would be appreciated.
I'm bumping this one up to the top too. I'm having the same problem. I can send them at 150k, but receive them as 5k. I had the same issue with my 8525 until I found 2 cabs that fixed the problem. I haven't found anything for this Fuze yet.
I flashed the EliteRC4 and my MMS is working properly. I'm not sure what the difference is in the Chrome ROM and EliteRC4 ROM, but MMS works properly for me on T-Mobile now.
Picture MMS Messaging on WM6.5 for Raphael (AT&T Fuze) on TMobile
Has anyone been able to figure out the picture messaging (MMS) on any WM6.5 ROM for the AT&T Fuze that actually receives the pictures at full size instead of thumbnails on T-Mobile for the US?
I haven't been able to flash one WM6.5 ROM yet that the MMS works like it's supposed to and actually receives the pictures full size.
I found a fix for the thumbnail size MMS pictures
Here we go, I found the fix for the small MMS pics. Install this cab, soft reset the phone and it worked for me.
Thank you so much.
O2 MMS
Hi, I have searched all over XDA for a solution, and none so far have worked. I can only receive pictures at 3k no matter how big they are sent. I've tried the above .cab file and no joy.
Please Please Please can somebody help.
I'm running TCP's V3.1ROM with manilla 2.1, win 6.5 build 23017 hybrid & Radio 1.14.25.05 with O2 pre pay.
Does anyone else have this problem. I have a touch pro 2 on Sprint running Mobile Shell 3.5. When I select a contact and hit send MMS it won't allow me to attach a pic. When I hit SMS it will. All 3rd party software does this. For example telesketsa. it just brings up a blank sms.
Would be nice if I could direct the registry to bring up arcsoft.
I have an Htc surround unlocked and it works great but no mms
I cant seem to find how to add it on windows 7
Any help would be appreciated
Did you, by chance, try the HTC Connection Setup app in the Marketplace?
I'm currently using iWireless, which is a third-party affiliate of T-Mobile, and my MMS messages worked after using the App.

I found this on T-Mobile's support forum:
1. Jan 16, 2012 10:16 AM (in response to branden_gt)
Re: T-mobile MMS setting for HTC Surround?
Select a profile (Picture Messaging) or choose to create a new profile.
Set Profile name to Picture Messaging
Set Server URL to http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
Set Proxy to Enable
Set Version to 1.2, this should read (295 kb)
Select GPRS Settings
Set IP address to 216.155.165.050
Set Port to 8080
Set APN to http://epc.t-mobile.com
Leave Login blank
Leave Password blank
These are the generic settings for unsupported devices. I hope this information helps.

Please disregard the information for the fields that you do not have, and enter the information for the fields that you do have. In other words, for the apn field enter "epc.tmobile.com", disregard the proxy port setting etc.
If the issue persist and you still cannot use mms, enter "epc.tmobile.com" for the username and password fields in addition to the apn field, and retest.
Also, be sure that you have a data connection through wifi or mobile network data. Unfortunately, mms may not work without a data connection.

Running the ADC command via the registry editor since you are unlocked has proven to give the best results. Link to my thread. My xap apparently works only with a few providers and HTCs apparently but the registry command is the same for all phones.
