when i use my cruise for a long period of time and with the batery meter i see the temperature goes about 30C the screen distorts and goes black(the backlight on) and nor with a soft reset the screen comes back. So when i put the cruise in the front of an conditioner air for some minutes the screen come back to normal.
sometimes the temperature goes to 30~38 and the cruise is normal and i can use normally. I'm using the bepes rom .58 and with the oficial rom WWE the problem is the same.
the phone work normally but i cannot see anything, i can receive call and parently the phone is working.
possibly i received an defective unit??
anyone can help me??

I'm from Portugal and i bought 1 MDA Compact on TMobile. I Unlocked it with XDAdev v 1.6 and it works great in my network. After i done a stupid thing. I flash it with a wrong rom and it "Dead" . To recover i Reflash with a Jam_10605_169_10500 ship and it return to live. Now power on and let me calibrate stylus but when try to enter in the main screen apear a White Screen. I can manage and view all with Sync, but nothing more apear into Handset.Only a white screen. Can you help with this please.

Usually that's a sign that your LCD is broken. I've got one extra magician with exactly that same problem. Everything works but not the LCD, which seems to be dead. To confirm it, i've tested this "broken" magician with a good LCD and i can see everything...
I guess that you have done something extra besides only upgrading the ROM...

i have a problem with my i-mate jamin aka HTC prophet.
i have owned this phone for 3 years and everything was going ok, until a few days ago when i reset the phone the screen went completely white and constantly vibrated, eventually the phone battery died, and will not charge anymore.
is this a software problem? or hardware? i am totally comfortable opening it up if need be, i previously opened my old i-mate jam fixing the 2.5mm earphone jack.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I`am trying for the first time to put Android 2.2 on my HTC Diamond 2. It`s starts ok ,but after 4-6 min the screen i showing the scrren with the XDANDROID "screensaver" moving around then nothing else is happening, and i can`t turn it off og do anything else. Then i remove the battery, and the original HTC firmware is back. What am i doing wrong ????

i've bought an used verizon htc touch pro 2 in ivory coast, the rom was in english and i tried to flash it with HSPL, but instead of rhodium one i used raphael one's. after the HSPL, my phone turn off and after this i won't turn on. i've tried all the bootloader solutions but nothing, just a black screen and a red light when i plug it in pc. the light comes end goes, and my pc don't recognize my phone.Is it bricked really?How can i unbrick it?
