hi, as everyone knows there are various srs wow cabs, but i find them all unstable.
is there any mods that can look into this cab file and tweak it for TG01 and make it more stable?

I also instaled and could you be right on this ,no frozing and restarts by now , but anyhow I will keep you in touch about the evolution of this tree cabs.
This is the first cabs which seems to be good , but.... i'm still testing

I'm running spb shell 3.5.3 and about 1day using SRS WOW 1.-2.-3. cabs version ,> and still stable no restarts yet.
I'm also using opera 10., skyfire, skype, Galarm, stopwatch, pocket mechanic, core player, nitogen player, Igo 8, Tg 01 level,Vito Audio notes, Finger keyboard, Google maps, PHM regedit, Chainfire HD2 3d driver, netframe 3.5....and SRS WOW, on WM 6.5

Sense 2.5 2011, Opera 3 beta, nimbuzz, skype, Coreplayer 1.32a, iGO 8.4.x, SKTools, IconsoftPoneEx v2.2 for calls no SPB installed.
Before I have SPB 3.5.3 it runs without problem to.

On 1 device I have M.S 3.5.3 and on the other I have Mannila 2.1 installed.
I also had both of them on one device for some time and there was no problem
with this srs wow version.
I did not check it on WM6.1 only on WM6.5
if it makes you any problems maybe you should check other programs you are using. =)
I can also say that on the first time I installed the 3 cabs it did not work.don't know why..but after uninstalling,soft reset and reinstalling it worked ^_^

Hi, I'm Xdalover on the Modaco Forum (and others)...
I've been using the three cabs for ages, without any problem on WM 6.1 and now WM 6.5 (and I have about a hundred apps on my TG01!)
I agree that this solution it's quite ugly, and would be cool having an unique SRS WOW cab. Meanwhile, it works, but in some cases people has had some problems (resets or Sleeping Beauty effect).
My advice:
1) Full backup before testing them
2) Install the tree cabs in the right order
3) Soft reset after each cab
SRS WOW it's a luxury jewel of the sound enginery. I've recovered the pleasure of listening to music with earphones!. Try the Jazz profile (Wow!!)
By the way, our TG01 has a high sound quality thanks to its specific Qualcomm chipset.

Rigth now I have installed the 3 cab's in my device some hours ago. After every cab a soft-reset. No problems since that and a great sound quality in coreplayer and mplayer.
Caused by that in my device I never hat sound problems during calls (finger crossing for that), anybody can tell something about improvement off call quality after instaling srswow?
And also I'm interessted in knowledge about srsVIP+, no-one tryed it yet?

My daily choice is Pocket Player, because of its great interface, embebbed Lyrics Viewer, superb Crossfade that match perfectly with SRS WOW, Upnp plugin, and so on....
But my favourite has been and it still is a nice (and rare) piece of software called 40iplay. It's very difficult to find it on these days. This app has the best Reverb and bass boost never seen (listen). It's a pity that it's only VGA and it's volume control doesn't work on TG01 , but 40iplay & SRSWOW are, for me, the best experience on HI-FI Music with Pocket PC.

Anyone found any solutions for this yet? The program posted up in a couple of threads on here only work on wm2003. I noticed adjusting the equalizer in TCPMP also has absolutely no affect on the sound output aswell. Seems WM5 is completely different in that respect, or that is, if it can be adjusted at all.

Which WM5 device are you running it on? You can't move the sliders if you run that on a Charmer.

ahh, the eq in the .72RC1 version does have an effect now, all the older ones never worked.
I installed the touchflo, it gets installed , but doesn't start etc. it needs somebody to get it working ,it doesn't seem all that far fetched like wm5 or wm6.it needs somebody from this forum to get it going . like they have done it on prophet, wizard,artemis, with some tweaking and alteration of biotouch file etc.cmon give some respect to the forgotten hero who started this transition from window mobile of being brick sized pda's to mainstream phone

I installed GoodWin and FunContact from Vito Technologies. It´s a mix from TouchFlo and iphone and works fantastic. I now returned to my Magician and will sell my Charmer with WM6, it is also good, but horribly slow.

absolutely agree that Goodwin and FunContact is worth installing on magician or wm2k for that matter...IMO Vito should upgrade Goodwin to have more interactive home screen...now its seem that you have to scroll a lot because everything is in one page...
I didin't like this Goodwin, on my Magician it "half-worked", the signal strength and battery meter doesn't work and the button slide lock too, just when I start the program it appears and then never more. But I agree that the User Experience is fantastic. I am using the 2.03 WWE modified ROM.

It is correct that the batterymeter and the signal strength don´t work, but with the lock-button i think you make a mistake: click on it with stylus or finger, hold it and drag it from the left side to the right side of the display, and the device will be unlocked so that you can work with it. I think batterymeter isn´t as important, i took the Power-button to Favorites to reach it easily for controlling the battery status. Another effect of the "half-working" is, that the timer to controll the testing period doesn´t work, too! So, for devices with WM2003, it´s Freeware!

Ok, it is locked just when I stard Goodwin, but how to Lock again? I was using Slide2Unlock very similar that locks the PDA everytime I Power Off the phone to stand-by mode, with Goodwin nothing happens when I power off and on.
why don't you guys try this out. just modify the includede ini file to match your shortcuts.

dude.. it's less than $20..I say just pay for it man..if u ever tried to write a program for a PPC2003 phone u'll know what a b!tch it's like...these ppl have put alotta effort into makin it work and the least we can do is show our appreciation... afterall.. this ain't TrashWare like a dodgy virus remover that installs the viruses in the "free trial" version just so u can pay them $20 to "get rid of it".. this is pure sweat and hardwork that someone's put in dude...and the lack of technical docs from M$ doesnt help either!

After feeling 6.1'd out with instabilities and such. I opted to flash back to 6.0. This is a very nice ROM. Similar to Alex's 1.62 Home rom. Good Job. Thanks
Having problems with the HTC dialer
Using kaiser tweak i changed back to the HTC dialer (video) and after pressing the first number, the other numbers don't show up ... they do get pressed ... and do register, but i can't see them
Your best bet is to install dutty's dialler to fix the problem. The HTC Video dialler is probably missing some Icons/etc. due to streamlining this ROM for the AT&T networks which don't have video call capabilities.
I will make a not of this to fix in a future release.

I found a non video dialer that works well, and i even found a hebrew skin for it,
but do you know where i can get the dialer you mentioned ? maybe it will work with video.

Funny question... how can I get rid of the damn cube ? ... it is the most annoying thing in the world .... i play solitaire dragging a card and it pops up ... i scroll and it pops ... very annoying !
You can remove the cube under settings/system/remove programs. I allowed for it to be installed on first boot, but also to be removed. After you remove it you will need to soft-reset to get your touch screen back.

You can add the Solitare exe as an exception in the Cube config, so it will not open up when you are Solitare. Just a thought.
My uc config file did not run after the customizations ran. Is this just a problem with mine or has anyone else had this issue?
Recorded Video wont playback
hey is anyone having problems with recorded videos not playing on the phone. Windows media player is not associated with them does anyone no how to change this this happened on this rom and his previous rom. i never had this problem until in installed his roms. other that that i love the rom. i dont even see how to add extensions in advanced config someone help please.

Every since i installed his rom windows media player on my phone will NOT play .Mp4's that i recorded it keeps saying cannot play file. the file is either corrupted or the player does not support the format you are trying to play. Hold up there chief. I sent you a PM, gotta give a busy man some time. I haven't had any issues with video on this ROM, I thought you were referring to my 6.1 ROM. Can you upload the file that won't play so I can test?
Open the file using TCPMP in the Multimedia tab. It may not show anything at this time and probably won't. Stop the file and shut TCPMP. Then use file explorer to open the file and it should now be registered to TCPMP and play properly.

I've tried to figure this out, but I can't get UC to run at all. There may be a conflict with the OEM autorun.exe and the SDAutorun not being called to via the .txt files. I'll see what I can do to fix the problem.

For some reason I seem to be unable to receive incoming bluetooth connections. Problem happens only with the incoming connections, outgoing files go no problems.
Tried setting the bluetooth as disoverable, connectable and removed the passcode; still no dice. When another phone tries to connect it shows a connection error while I don't see anything on my Tilt.
This could be something related with my settings?

I don't know if it was the new radios or 6.1, but I could not get a stable build for the like of me. Freezing, GPS not working, etc... yes, it (6.1) was a little faster, but the price was too high.
I decided to revert back to 6.0 and happened on to XTRM-1.62-6.0X! Finally I have a stable build again!

I have my td2 now since july and am really sad about how they changed windows mobile. I first had the p3300 aka orbit and was so happy about it until I had some soft/hardware issues.
SOLVED
Now with the fancy new td2 I just can t get TCPMP to work or well it worked once with the 0.81 rc i think but not really good.
I searched now for days to find something but mostly useing my td2 and that got pretty annoying.
I am really tired of trying and searching so if anyone could help me with an easy solution then i would be thankful also because I have so what no idea about registry or such.
Also i found this nice Program W.V.D. which makes me want to have a working tcpmp even more or can I use any other mediaplayer and if yes, which one?
And one question to skyfire...
Does it just rendomly suport flash on pages i can just sometimes not get it to work at all and sometimes it runs just fine even though skyfire is really blurry but I read that we can not really do much about that yet.
my td2 is running on the original german xda diamond2 rom and I am just waiting for O2 to finally release the 6.5. Is that usefull or should i just take any cookedrom? If, which one is great? Or anyone any Idea when =2de releases the 6.5?
Also can someone tell me what the different blinking signals mean on the td2 because in the manual of the p3300 were they explained but with the td2 was not much information with.
Also i would be really happy to hear what kind of programs are essential for the td2 which programs do we need.

Okey I got WVD to work.
I used:

Video set to Raw FrameBuffer
And FlashVideoBundle.CAB
Now it works just fine both files are attached
(edit: Upload for the player does not work i don t know why)

best reinstall it and then directly to "options"
That TCPMP works but the video quality is bad as hell.

Does anyone know of a method of switching between these two shells on the HD2? It seems to me it's impossible to get Sense to run without uninstalling SPB, which seems a bit ridiculous to me. I like both interfaces and would like to choose one or the other depending on my mood.

Especially given the fact that some apps are actually integrated into Sense, and once disabled, you are unable to access or use them!

Unfortunately, No.
It seems that SPB mobile shares resources (classes) with HTC sense. Once SPB mobile is installed, SPB mobile overwhelms HTC sense. Either SPB Mobile or HTC sense, not both.
I use SPB mobile and Leo.
It's a pity. Many functions of HTC Leo cannot be used then. So, if you love HTC sense, don't use SPB mobile; if you desperately want SPB mobile, don't buy Leo.
I think the burden should be on SPB. It is their responsibility to develop interface software that compatible with their target.
Unfortunately, they have not taken this responsibility.

i wrote a little tutorial on how to switch between SPB shell 3.5 and sense smoothly without the need to disable either.

It's a bit bizarre that you can't have an SPB shortcut in the quicklinks. Maybe someone will resolve that, because that would really help!

yeah true... i think someone tried to map the left softkey to spb home but that didnt work either. At least we have some form of switching for the time being.

I tried. It works. The solution is quite simple indeed, surprisingly. Many thanks for the amazing solution.
I searched official forum of SPB but no solution is presented there. People on that forum discussed and all despaired at last. So I thought Spb and Sense cannot live together.
Someone wrote in this forum that s/he still uses HTC because there is XDA-developers. I join his/her comment.
Sense is sluggish and causes the same in SPB!

I havent seen this at all!
SPB has been good as gold as has sense (only time sense ever lags is when it loads upon startup).
In fact if you install Chainfire's revamped graphics drivers for Leo, SPB works with 3D acceleration on which it didnt do without the patch!

Seriously, download the trial. Don't just buy it before trying it. I downloaded the trial and instantly loved it, but went off it after a couple of days. I just prefer Sense (we're all different!)

Good idea Didn't realize it was shareware. I installed it and don't seem to miss anything (that I needed) so can someone please tell me what is not working with SPB Mobile Shell, because obviously I'm either blind or stupid or just don't need the functions that are lost when using SPB vs. Sense.
With HTC HD we could switch between the interface without disabling either. But with Sense it's impossible, I tried all I could and when I switched to SPB, Sense came automaticaly back after launching any apps. So the solution is installing SPB and deleting the shortcut SPB which is in Windows/Start and then go to the settings and Today and then you choose Windows Today and not Sense, then you can launch SPB mobile shell.

The program places a link in root/windows/Start Menu/Programs.
If you have a ROM in another language than English, the folder 'Start Menu' may be named otherwise. E.g. in Dutch it is called 'Startmenu/Programma's'.
Solution: copy the link to the appropriate start folder.
After the move or copy you 'll find the program in Start.
