I am searching for photo and video editing app for my hd2. If anyone knows please let me know.
Thanks
I'm looking for the same thing too.
I dont know of any video editing programs for the HD2 but Resco Photo Manager is a very capable image editor with all the functionality of pc programs and it has multi touch capability.
Mark.
Resco Photo Manager 7.1
I tried this app and it works great, but it kills my ability to play mp4 videos on HTC video player. Probably a registry conflict. As soon as I uninstalled the app, my videos started playing again.
If anyone knows a registry edit to correct this problem, I would purchase this app.

Hi guys I couldn't find a HTC Album working that plays videos. I've searched but no luck. Can somebody help me please? I'm on a tytn II
Thanks I appreciate it!
As far as I know, the HTC Albums just don't browse and play video files and I currently can't find any picture viewing programs that do so too. Maybe you can try posting in the Dev&Hack section requesting a picture viewer program that also browse video files, that may be interesting.
TCPMP can play picture files and Video files and audio files, can play internet radio, can browse pictures, aduio and video over home wifi network as well (if you have set it up). Give it a try. I have it set up as my default picture viewer. I also use S2V to view pictures (love it) but it does not show video's. TCPMP opens fast to view video's and pictures and displays really nicely with some viewing options as well.
htc album DOES play videos
look for htc album 2.0
its extracted from devices like opal, jade etc
hello people,
I have an error with my own rom (diamond wm6.5 build 23009) when I play a mp4 files recorded with the camera. The message "source filter could not be loaded" is displaying when I play this kind of files.
I search in the registry files of package (mediaOS) and there isn't reg key for mp4. I guess that there is no codec installed for mp4 or the registry keys are missing.
Thanks for your help
EDIT : I solved this issue, it came from my DShow package
Are you willing to use another app to play almost all formats?
Try: Coreplayer or TCPMP
If you wanna stick to WMP I´m sure another member will show you the possible fix
Good luck,
It works well with core player but HTC Album can't read my mp4 files. It's why I wanna solve this issue (otherwise I hate WMP ^^).
Windows media didnt work to play a few basic movie files so I was wondering if there is any FREE way to watch videos? I see people recommending coreplayer but it costs money which suck.
Only other player am aware of is TCPMP, it does the job. Although i hate the user interface, its same as it was when i used on my iPAQ.
try this for converting your videos on your computer, no need to fiddle about with settings. just add your file you want converting, put in your desired output directory and convert. i found it on here the other day tried it and it worked flawlessly, nice picture too, obviously if your more advanced than me you could maybe fiddle about to increase picture quality and stuff but if your looking for a quick fix to watch video on your phone this is the one for you. enjoy.

Hi! I want HTC Video Player to be deault video player (instead of TCPMP) but I couldn't make it happen. I choosed it to be default in "open with" dialog in file explorer, but after that when I click on a video file nothing happens. Yesterday before I did this change, it could play some video files but now it doesn't. I like this tiny player, it looks handy to me. How can I make it play video files by default?
Open TCPMP. Options-Settings-Select Page-File Associations.
Remove ticks from videos you are interesting of.
I think I got it fixed, thanks Fighter. I'll have you a beer next time you're in Turkey .
I would like to edit my 3D videos on my pc, I copy the .mp4 file to my laptop and find nothing even plays it.
On further examination I have determined the video is using the 3gp4 container and that the video itself is Mp4 V1 according to the Gspot program for Windows but nothing will open it to play or edit.
I have tried every Windows program I can think of from VirtualDubMod to AviDemux and Super, does anyone have any idea how to edit or even convert this video to a playable or editable format please?
Dave
Edit: Found a solution, posted solution as a guide in a seperate post
I've edited stereofootage using The Foundery's NukeX but it was an image sequence. Meaning i had left eye and right eye frames. Ill mess around with it tomarrow and see if im able to import my 3D footage in to any of my video editing software. Or seperate the footage in to left and right eye sequences. If your trying to edit your 2D footage try Adobe After Effects or Premeire.

I can edit 3D images but nothing, even VLC, will read yet alone edit the video produced by the Optimus 3D. Ideally I would like, as with other mepg 4 files, to edit the video in VirtualDubMod as I do with 2D footage (from other sources) but unfortunately for some reason the mpeg 4 video is stored in a non standard 3gp mp4 container that so far no programs will read.
Dave
Though it would not play initially, I was able to convert it to another format using AnyVideoConverter and then view on my PC using the stereoscopic player (I have nVidia 3D Vision and 3D monitor). I also have K-Lite Codec pack installed.
I tried the trial version fo that but it always says fail
Dave
You could try to upload it to Youtube and use the online editor. It even allows you to add music to your movies, etc.
I could try that but I dont want to upload, and thus share, my videos then redownload them just to edit them. Very dissapointed in how badly the video is contained in a non standard 3gp variant when the video could have been stored in standard mpeg 4 format. I will have to just hope somehow a program out there can convert the video as uploading a potentially large file with my isp can take hours and so would be impractical
Dave
You don't have to share what you upload, but I agree that it would be a pita to upload large files to the service...
I found a way and will put a brief guide in a seperate post in case it helps someone
Dave
Great news
You need a 3D video editor

Wondering if you're still there.
Is your original video file mp4? You need a 3D video editor which can edit mp4 videos.
A good 3D video editing program can help to edit videos. But you should know that viewing 3D video on your pc need 3D glasses.
