Be sure your name is set in "owner-information" or in "me" in your contactslist.
The key is related to your username. You can find both in the received mail from Ageye.

I wouldn't mind getting a g-alarm license for free, even if changing the owner name on the device would be troublesome if I won't be able to change that back as soon as license validation is done
Anyway, I downloaded free 1.5.1, both repacked promptless by ninjaduck, and vanilla from pocketpcfreeware, but it won't install on my hd2, I get a "failed installation" error as soon as i double click the cab...

pm'ed you... probably sending the license to everyone would mean pirating, as one license is intended to be used only by one user... since I'm the first to have asked, I get to be the one
The current version available to download from the G-alarm website gives you a 10 day trial version of the alarm.

I purchased Lexisgoo dictionary and can't, for the life of me, find the e-mail that had my registration number. I do have backups, however, that contain it in it's registered form. Is there anything I can copy from the backup that will enable it on my newly formated system?
If you write to the company from the same email address they'll probably send you over a replacement serial. I remember they were very nice to me back in the day.
Otherwise, just try searching the registry of the backup for the serial, normally in the Local Machine or Current User > Software section.

Thanks, I'll give them both a shot. I've been popping back and forth between the backup of my old install and a backup of my new install. I managed to find a handful of registry keys associated with lexisgoo, but restoring them to the new install only expired my 14 day trial ;-) I'll keep trying

No such luck... It's really strange, because I have all of my confirmation e-mails from all of my previous pocket pc purchases, but can't find this one anywhere. Maybe if I e-mail them they can tell me which registry entries I need to save... thanks for all the help guys, I'll keep you posted.
The folks at ppclink have been great and were able to forward me registration info. Even though I was dumb and lost my info they were more than happy to help. You can certainly add them to the list of people I will buy from again.

it looks like a pretty nice interface from the video on the website, I'm gonna contact the guy so I can donate for it and get to do some beta testing on it. It says only contributors and donators might get their hands on the beta testing right now, so well see.
Live wallpapers will really make a nice visual attraction on our beloved HD2`s!

Are you able to make calls or message? how do you turn the touchXperience on and off? I hv it installed. Looks great
Hi instaled this version, but its not stable, you can add in today screen, just run like a program in start menu, but the experiance its good, i never see one aplication like that, underful touch, but sometimes (most the time) crash...
unfortunately the development this aplication its slow, i donate for a full version and stable...

yes i can do both with out any problem
you can select the custom menu sample to turn it on and on the right upper corner is a menu click on it and you can turn it off

I'm lost, how do you get this to work. I install the cab and the key. I saw it for a moment in the Touch X Xperince \ Sample folder, now when I go back to it, nothing happens?!

So please remove the links, it's like WAREZ because not agreed by the author. And then what you got ? Complainers about "how does it work ?". Exactly the issue the private beta test avoid...

The phone, at least the T-Mobile version, comes with some animated wallpapers. Is there anyway to put something in the folder wherever they're stored and use that?

You're okay to share the app. It's free and you're basically just saying you prefer it over whats given in the stock version of Android and that you'd like people to check it out.
However, if it's a PAID app; then that's different. You can talk about it; but under no circumstances can you POST it here on the forums, unless given consent to do so by the author of app. I see no reason why you should be afraid of stating your opinion about your app choices, continue doing so.

I find my self facing a very steep obstacle related to an application. My agricultural family requires the application in order to conduct normal work. The issue i am faced with is two fold. I am unable to download/install the application due to either region restriction or phone restriction.
The notorious application is this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yara.checkit
So i request the aid and wisdom of those of you that possess far greater abilities than i, in solving this perhaps simple conundrum. My request is the following: Would it be possible for someone to download that application and sub sequentially sent me the .APK file of it so that i may install it manually. Alternatively i am open to any and all suggestions regarding the resolution of the above issue.

i might be, other users upload it, if theres lots be careful what you get because people are bums and they could load it up with Ads or a survey you must do to unlock the app. so you said you talked to the app developer? why not ask him for a apk file?

I did ask them for the apk file they had no idea wtf i was talking about. I got 2 women one on the regular support line one on the "computer service desk" they seemed very surprised anyone was calling them at all, and neither wanted to help. So i don't think the support is going to be the way to go for this.
