Full screen clock - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

I have my hd2 docked at home most of the time on my desk.. Is there any full screen clock apps available? Used to be able to get some really pretty ones on the iphone both digital and analog..
Bit like this..

I was thinking.. Is there a really simple web browser for winmo that is set to 100% page size and has no borders etc so it totally full screen that supports jquery like opera.. I could than make a really pretty jquery clock with date which launches automatically using gprofile as soon as it is plugged in to my dock.. (see's headset connected)

http://test.coatezy.co.uk/jdigiclock/ something like this with scrolling rss feed below.. Hmm just need a browser now to do it..

you can't? I haven't tried yet.. shame on me.. as a flash developer.. but a phone with flash lite installed should be able to play standalone flash lite swf files..
I do know IE plays swf's full screen.. but making a little website with a clock seems a little lame.. like a surogate app..

Even better would be a radio alarm clock that worked in landscape.
I spend a few nights a month in hotel rooms around Europe and the iPhone (*spit*) had a couple of great Radio Alarm Apps that I used.
Can't beat waking up to BBC Radio 4

Just what I was after! Thanks! As soon I plug my phone in to my dock it now starts up SPBtime and as soon as I un-dock it closes it

Anyone out there using an alternative digital clock for their home they could recommend?
Im just looking for a basic clock widget so no weather widget suggestions lol...
I want to see how much difference this would make to my battery instead of having my usual weather widget installed and updating regularly..
Heres what ive come across so far:
DigiClock Widget:

Holding the time for me just fine. Though I have my clock set to not sync to network time.
SETTINGS> Date & Time Settings> Automatic (deselect this)

When you say that it doesn't update (or takes a minute) that when you boot the phone up, the time just displays Hh:Mm where the time should be?
I found the quicker way to sort it (me being impatient) is remove the widget from the home screen and then re-add it. 95% of the time it will show the time straight away.

[workaround] How to get transparent notification bar with launcher pro

Currently there is no way to my knowledge to use clear or transparent notification bars with lp. But yesterday, I noticed that it would show through With a live wallpaper selected. I also recently downloaded just pictures which comes with a live wallpaper also.
So download Just pictures. Open it and select your favorite wallpaper(s) Long press it and add to favorites. Then go and select the just pictures live wallpaper. Then watch them shine through your previously installed clear taskbar.
I realize this is a live wallpaper and may use a little battery. Though I havnt Noticed any difference.

Interesting. This gave me a theory on why and how to fix it.......I just don't have the time to work on it right now. FINALS /oh noes/

exactly how i feel
anyways, why can't this be done by editing framework-res.apk? i'm pretty sure i had a clear taskbar when i edited mine. i just didnt like the look of the fully clear taskbar because some apps' backgrounds would show through the area where the taskbar went...but the point is it worked? i only use launcherproplus as well
I'm sure if you rip apart lp's Apk you might be able to. However im not that Savy with all that and I'm sure if it was that Easy it would have been done already. Unless devs are just not sharing.

launcher pro and live wallpaper don't work good together for me. it tends to be sluggish when scrolling through screens.
Do u have a quick link to setting up the battery indicator the way u have it displayed? I've been looking for something just like that.
edit: nevermind, found it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=848803
Interesting. Are you saying that while using that program, I can choose non-live wallpapers and they would be transparent or only with live wallpapers? If using just images, it shouldn't really drain battery...I don't think...
I agree on the battery drain. And only live wallpapers will work

Stir it well and have fun!!.
stop spamming the thread, the developer is asking for feedback for an app, which I think is a genuine request to make to a developers community, we all know device has not been released yet but that is no reason to spam.
Im not going to download it as i dont use lwp but with the pics showing it looks really great.
Keep up the good work mate

I plan on ordering my S4 on Monday for T-Mobile, I'll download it first thing once I get my phone and let you know if it worked for me. Unless someone beats me to the punch
took a few seconds to initiate at first, but works fine
zbipol... sorry, almost forgot to follow up with you on this... I was able to download and install it perfectly fine, and it works great. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a intuitive live wallpaper. Very unique, nice job mate. :good:

There is a pause on double tap option, so basically when you pause it by double tapping it does not takes more cpu/battery power than showing normal static wallpaper bitmap.
rolled out new version yesterday

It's been a while since I took time to setup my homescreen and my new S4 needed some love. I made a setup called DropUI last time. Many people loved it, even I liked it...... for a week. It wasn't functional, it looked cool but I never actually used all of the hoemscreen except for the music screen.
So this time around I have kept it really minimal. Most of the things are controlled via Nova Launchers gesture controls. Rest of it is UCCW, I am still messing around with UCCW, used to use Minimalistic Text. Music widget is via Poweramp.
Hope you guys like it, would appreciate some love on MyColorScreen and DeviantArt too!
XDA Exclusive (for now)- Attached the UCCW uzip file.
Important!- Please rename the .zip -> .uzip

Transparent browser

I've tried many different browsers with greyscale, inverting, and night modes. But this browser is the first I've ever seen do a clear transparent version before. I've checked all my websites and they all look amazing.
If you like blacked out and clear apps I suggest you check it out.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.UCMobile.intl
Here is how I make mine look blacked out.
1: get a completely black image, picture, or screenshot.
2: in the browsers theme section set the image you want as the wallpaper.
3: set the background to transparent

Brilliant find, really. Thank you for the tip!
Thanks for the tip.
I've done limited testing so far (did not even figure out how to set trans bg yet...), but while first looking into this on the market, I noticed that there was a mini UC Browser as well. I ended up spending more time on it than their full one.
A couple observations on Mini:
- good UI, but I do have to press my menu soft button twice every time in order to get to the opened tabs icon...;
-less options but also less "clogware" (or just stuff I don't need really);
- night mode a bit "lightish" in shade, but very good since it doesn't affect (invert) pics as Lightning (a similar) browser would;
- use fewer processes/services and about 5 times less RAM than the full version (and app itself is 10x smaller);
- could find a setting to easily switch between desktop/mobile and it seems like page zooming is not really possible... But layout seems always pretty good;
- nice touches like: top/bottom quick btns, bw saving/compression, 3 file downloads at once, auto-reconnect/resume dl (although this is marketing talk cause some site do not allow pause or resume...);
- more to discover..
And hopefully, we'll be able to theme bgs and text colors a little... I'll look into this tomorrow; can't wait... hehe!
Thx again, cheers!
Does UC support flash by now ? Did one of you try UC sync available for chrome desktop to sync tabs .... ?
That's great I love this one
