Just want to say a massive thanks to those who've cooked all the cabs i've downloaded, the Touch X stuff, the Cookie Monster Home Screen etc...
But yeah... i managed to get rid of the 'Calendar' text by using Dragonsoft Manilla Calendar Text Removal.cab which worked. I then used the Touch X Transparent Calendar.cab, which also worked... but the text has re-appeared.
Can anyone help me on this!?!??!
[apologies if it's already been posted... but i've searched everywhere!]

id like to start off in thanking you all all for some of the fantastic roms some of you have made... i like little touches in all of them and i thought i would have a go at customising mine to my own perfection.

but i know i cant use this on mine because i have a Wizard G4 and thats for the elf.. ive cid unlocked it so that i can flash any G4 OS only rom using that Hardspl thing!! (sorry forgot what it was called)...
i really like the black glossy background thats in all the folder views and the icons and everything about it from that link^^^. i wanted to change the font so that it was like the 1 from that link too... i like the way it moves the icons down the side when you go into a folder too,, is this possible on the wizard??

i seen someone that had on their today screen the option to read emails as soon as they came thru and it notified you on the today screen like it does with new SMS messages...
i really like the iphone dialer and i'd like to see which contacts are ringing me so is there a phot contacts program??
i'm not to bothered about any of the closing programs or task managers or commander stuff or battery bars,,
if someone could help me find the things i would need to make a rom like this i would really appreciate it.
or if anyone can reconmend something that shows the info when emails arrive on the today screen then that would be cool...

I just flashed a new rom from the calkulin 21859 kitchen. I've tried pre-made roms but for some reason this problem has not been solved by anything I've tried.
I want the chome plugin, with the condensed plugins bar. In other words, I don't want four separate plugins for text, email, voicemail and missed calls, I want the plugin that combines all four. I can't get that to show.
If anyone can point me to a 21859 rom with the 3.1.5 taskbar and 6.5 titanium as opposed to wm7 titanium where the chome plugin is already working, I'd appreciate that also.

You could try JMLToday - together JMLPanex and JMLLibrary - so you would have working Buttons for each of this things in one panel:

Hi everyone,
I own a HTC TyTN II (Kaiser) with WM6.1 and I have been trying to install the Manila theme on it. I have used this version, from here, and also another version that I don't remember where I got it from. Both times I got the samen problem. I got the home screen, but a lot of the text and functionality was missing (call history, 1 new voicemail) and also there was no text and functionality in the bottombar of the screen. I was also missing text and functionality on a lot of the other pages, like the settings screen had no functionality whatsoever.
I tried installing a theme on top of it, but after that TouchFlo won't open anymore. It says 'Tap here to start TouchFlo', when I click it goes to 'Starting TouchFlo' and then it just goes back to 'Tap here to start TouchFlo'. I tried deleting everything and then reinstalling, but its still the same..
Can anybody help me with this?

Installing M2D and M2D Themes for Noobs by denco7
I now have the patched version of M2d from here installed, as well as the cabs (#2 to 6)
The TouchFlo problem seems to be solved, but M2D is still not really functional. Lots of text and functionality is still missing, as well as text+functionality in the bottombar. Also scrolling doesn't work in the contacts page and the programs page.
I can't find a fix for this in the link posted above. Anybody have any ideas about this? I can post pictures of how it looks now if that would help

I have this version of Manila cooked in EnergyROM so I have this big White Clock with weather, Call History and Calendar beneath. When one slide a finger up on the clock it gets minimalized to much smaller one at the top of the screen and there is plenty room under Calendar for e.g. shortcut to camera, browser, notes... whatever!
Is this possible to put some icons there. It would be... fantastic! I'm using HTC Touch Pro with again: Manila 2.1.19202517 cooked in EnergyROM Phoenix 2 (WM6.5).

Thanks man, but I did so many changes to my present software (I have loaded tons of CAB files so far) and personalized TP on my own way that doing it all again with another ROM is a little bit scary
After all You have to HR the phone after installing a new ROM and all Your data and personalization is lost, right?
Maybe simply there is a CAB to do what I want without changing absolutely everything?
Or is there a way to back up all my data and presets... installing a brand new ROM... and then restore my programs, personalization and all?
im looking for the same thing, i couldnt get 2.5 to work with MMS picture mail so i went back to 2.1 and i want the program shortcuts on the home tab also.. is there such a thing for 2.1?

I am looking for the cab which makes the background screen same as the home screen when u slide between tabs. I had this cab but somehow I deleted it. Can someone pls give the name or share it with me. I searched ion the cap repository but could not find it.

Just to be clear....... its the cab to get rid of the dark curtain that falls across the whole screen whilst you have your finger on the slider...........
even if you could just tell me what manila file it is....
